This is a hard review to write because I have been going to this salon for a year now and have been exceptionally happy until now. Even the lady who had serviced me is very friendly, but unfortunately I feel that she has not been trained well. I went there last week for a threading and a facial wax - now I must mention that I have been threading and waxing for over 20 years (I am a hairy person).... everything from the threading of eyebrows to the wax was done in such a hurry - my eyebrows were pretty grown out and would expect her to just clean it up and shape it - instead I now have super thin ones and both different shapes. Then comes the wax - from the application of the wax, normally you apply precisely in small patches and then wax the hair off - both were done so hastily in a rush and messy, I mentioned to her that last time she did this I broke out all over my face - this did not change the method that she using (which I would love to know where she learned from as I have never EVER experienced such messy waxing). I am expecting my monthly visitor so I knew it would be extra painful but I felt that the quality of this treatment was sacrificed in order to rush and move on to the next. When we were done - unlike the other ladies in that salon who always disinfect my face and then put on Aloe GEL - she just put a think layer of aloe gel on my face for the pending breakout and was done. I got home to find patches of hair and patches of wax still on my face, two completely different eye brows and my side burns were waxed to different lengths - before I even got to bed that night my entire face had broken out in pimples. This is totally unacceptable. This is my face - I have suffered from cystic acne and just now managing to get it under control - to have someone who is supposed to be professional basically just mess up my face completely because she was in a rush or doesn't have enough training is ridiculous. It will take months to fix my face and the marks caused from this breakout and the one I got the last time she did my face. I need to stress that I have been a customer for a year - this is the 2 only bad experiences I have had as I have even had the other ladies take interest in my skin and try different ways to make sure my facial skin stays healthy - just be careful about who you see. The lady that served me was Sana, she might be new to threading and waxing because of her technique - maybe some extra training esp with waxing may help. read more

My first ever wax and eyebrow thread!! I don't know why I thought it might've been a good idea to do both in the same day, but at WTS, it's not such a bad idea after all! I came in 20 mins early for my appointment with Belaa (who is beautiful and such a sweet human being) and was immediately taken care of. I really appreciated this since I had a long day ahead of myself. Not only did they start working on me immediately, but both my Brazilian wax and threading took 30 mins total! I was out basically by the time I was supposed to come in! I came with the three Brazilian wax Groupon, which they use the soy wax (the best of the three types they offered). Belaa asked me if I had questions first and didn't push for me to wax, but I was ready, so she had me come right on back! Belaa was incredibly detailed--doctor's office style--about what to expect. She was clear about how painful it might be. However, with the soy wax--which grabs at your hair rather than your hair AND skin, like oil-based hard wax does--while the process was painful, it was definitely much better than what the internet hypes it up to be. She did a great job and when I thought it was going to be awkward, spread eagled with my lady bits in full glory to see--she chatted me up and by engaging in genuine conversation over Indian food--it was far from awkward! Belaa is lovely and obviously very experienced. A few hours later writing this review, my lady bits feel just a bit warm but no weird or painful vibes at all! I have Asian caterpillar eyebrows (East Asian) and she knew how to work with my eyebrows. My biggest fear was having skinny, overly arched threading. I cannot rock the Disney villainess style. But Belaa recommended a soft arch and did a beautiful job on the threading, and kept the thick, natural look of my eyebrows. See me back in three weeks, ladies! read more

My go to wax place when I'm in Buckhead. They have ample & free parking right out front. Easy to find as well. If you're lucky, you'll be able to download their Groupon deal that includes a Brazilian Wax using their NuFree Wax for only $15! Original price is $35. They have different wax types for you to choose from, but I highly recommended either NuFree or Hard Wax. Brazilian wax with Hard wax is $30. Brazilian wax with Honey wax is $25. They also have great pricing for brows as well. Threading or waxing is an option. Asha took great care of me today. I had to wait about 15 minutes without an appointment, but she was very sweet and gave me reassurance that I would be taken care of shortly. I've been going here for year for my nufree waxes. I've gotten a yeast infection from wax being put in the wrong area. Ive had to go back before because my wax job wasn't done right (still had hair). What I don't like is every time I go I'm charged a different price for the same service. The lady has done this to me twice. She'll ask am I leaving a tip and charge me according to my answer in my opinion. I asked did the price go up she said yes but the sign still has the same price. So one month I was charged 60 the next 65. If the service went up I get it but you can't charge me according to a tip. I mean what if I only brought or had what I'd been paying? For this reason I'm choosing to go somewhere else. I left feeling robbed and over charged. Which is the reason for my rating. read more

I found this place on accident--just above Kumon where my daughter is tutored. First off, it's impeccably clean inside and the staff is friendly and efficient. The pricing is great and if you can, go for the package pricing. This location is great depending on who you get they often try to push threading on you no matter how many times you say you just want wax. I am a former threading client but it thins my eyebrows in my opinion. I tell them I just want my brows cleaned up and they still leave gaps and cut to much off. I haven't seen the lady I tried at first since I've been coming back. Overall pretty professional and take care of their customers. I've been using WTS for over a year. They have online booking, but are great about taking walk ins. I use them for Brazilian waxes and eyebrow threading. So far, my favorite person has been Richa. She has great attention to detail and always double checks to make sure everything looks great. For the Brazilian, after I tried the Nufree once I never went back. For my skin, it works better than anything else I've tried. It is still painful, but much less than other waxes. I love this place and have always had friendly service. read more

Carla = ouch! Carla performed a Brazilian on me. Although they are always painful she was particularly rough. She also failed to mentioned that there were two area of skin that were waxed completely raw and bleeding. I had to discover them in the shower as well as just general service all over the area. She did remove the hair. She wasn't particularly friendly but I didn't know if there was a language barrier. She poured all the wax for the entire Brazilian on me at once and snatched it off at once despite me expressing an unusual amount of discomfort and pain. She simply says "oh you probably just have thin skin like me". I understand efficiency is the goal but she is the only person I've been to in 5 years that I will state by name, "I will take anyone but Carla". She is ruthless. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because she did get all the hair despite the fact I begged her not to clean it up because it hurt so bad. No photo for obvious reasons but I'm in pain. read more

Had a Brazilian wax done and it was horrible. Paid so much for not so good job. she missed so many places. It was bleeding from one spot, so I was holding pressure which took me longer to come out & she dares to blame me that I was waxing myself after she left. I can't say enough good things about this place. I get my eyebrows threaded here and it's the best my eyebrows have ever looked, and I pay a whopping 10 whole dollars (without tip) which is such a steal. I also never break out after I get my brows done here, which usually is always the case even at high end salons. I recommend making an appt if you're going at 4 or later, but if you go any time before that during the week there's usually not a wait. It's great! 10/10 recommend. I reached out online and never got a response, so I called to ask a couple of clarifying questions and book my appointment. I arrived on time and they brought me right back. Asha explained the services and asked if I had any questions. She assured me that the NuFree option was the least painful and that I'd love the results. I took her word for it and prepared myself. Asha was great! She talked me through the entire Brazilian wax process, and let me know which parts would be the most painful, but that they wouldn't last long. She told the truth!
