I am ABSOLUTELY happy that I found this place! The location is perfect. It's VERY clean the staff is friendly and professional. I went seeking eyebrow threading services. Due to medical reasons, my brows are very thin & light. It doesn't help that I have a dark complexion, it's almost as if it's nonexistent. I entered this place with fear as I had no idea what I was getting myself into. All I knew is that I needed them done. Sonya listened to me and offered me tinting. I have NEVER heard of tinting. I explained to her that I wasn't trying to have that drawn on "on fleek" look. I can't stand that! Sonya is the bomb (do people still say that?)!! I couldn't stop smiling. Convenient location in Marietta with friendly Desi staff. They have small rooms for waxing and the salon is beautiful. My aesthetician was very nice. I got a Underarm Wax for $8, Brazilian Groupon, $25 (which is a steal compared to most salons $45), and Half Legs $25, formerly $20. With tax, total was $58 plus tip. The body wax is $60 and includes Brazilian, Underarms, and Full Legs; In other words, for $2 more, you can have full legs instead of half legs waxed. I am decreasing one star because I was burned twice by the hot wax in my armpits and on my groin. Also, I find it off-putting that the two employees in the salon speak a different language in front of customers when they also speak English with no accent, aka the second language does not make it easier for them to communicate. I am also bilingual but do not do this when I am at work because it makes others feel as if you are talking about them. In the service industry, small things like this are key. The employees wear uniform red scrubs, which I commend because in other salons employees dress like they are on a trip to Walmart or running their own errands. I do however, recommend them to wear all black outfits or dresses, much like hostesses in high-end restaurants and hair salons to highlight that they are on par with such businesses. I see lots of customers getting their brows waxed, and they look very natural, full, and elegant, not tadpole-like and bizarre. Detail-oriented, they even have wall art for selfies. Great fun for customers as well as good for advertising on social media; smart :) But overall, I highly recommended for great value and experience! They also have a $10 off $45 on Yelp as well as $18 Brazilian wax on Groupon. I also get my toes' polish changed at the same time in the same plaza for $7 plus tip. For the perfect opaque nude polish, I recommend their OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around. One stop shop! read more

It hurt more than usual & I have a really high pain tolerance but it's okay. Today I went in to get a Yoni steam therapy. I was told I could wear my underwear(when that could lead to a yeast infection). In the beginning I told the lady who was setting everything up that it was extremely hot on my skin and that I have sensitive skin, and she simply moved the steam bowl over some. I was there for about 10 minutes before I had to walk out because it was burning my vagina and inner thigh. I told them I was done and they proceeded to get agitated saying I should've told someone to turn the heat down when I did right in the beginning of it. As soon as I got home I checked my inner thighs because they were burning and I had large red welts on my inner thigh. And when my mom called to get a refund on the Brazilian wax that was told to them it was a bikini wax not a Brazilian my friend got which did burn her and left her bleeding and with welts as well as on the situation with the burns on my legs due to it they asked to SEND PICTURES of the area which the area IS THE VAGINA AND INNER THIGHS RIGHT BEFORE MY VAGINA. There were no managers on duty as well. Very unprofessional and extremely bad service I would never go back. read more

I went to the Salon for a Brazilian wax and my friend went for a Yoni steam. During the wax the waxer kept having to go over the same spots until I was bleeding way more than I should've. I am burnt and extremely irritated, swollen and there is still lots of hair left. I asked half way if I would just do a bikini wax instead of a full Brazilian and was told yes and we ended the wax. I was still charged for an entire $50 Brazilian wax. My friend that got the yoni steam as soon as it started she said the steam was very hot and she has very sensitive skin. They did nothing to fix the problem and less than 10 minutes in to her 25 minute service she had to get up and walk out due to the burns she received from the steam. Her inner thighs has welts and is burned so badly we have to now take her to the ER. When my mother called to speak to a manage, since my mother gave me money for this service, she was told by the worker there was not a manager and she proceeded to ask for PICTURES of the issues like the issues weren't on our VAGINAS. Came in for the first time today for eyebrow threading! The first thing that really grabbed my attention was just how CLEAN and sanitary the place was! I was pleasantly surprised to see all the tools used were new and freshly coming out of the sanitary container. This might not seem like a big deal; but I've never gone to a place where the thread wasn't just laying out on the counter somewhere. I definitely appreciated that they take the extra effort to make sure everything is safe and clean! Ok on to the eyebrows. Riya did a wonderful job. I asked her to just do a "clean up" and she did just that! Super easy; and painless, not to mention adorable at only $8. I am never going here again!! I've given it a few tries and every time I go I'm disappointed. The first time I went I told them I wanted honey and they were trying to convince me to do nufree since it hurts less (honestly I felt like they just wanted more money so they kept pushing for the nufree) and when I told them I would just like honey, I felt like they purposely made it more painful then It had to be... this time around I did nufree and I told the lady It was too hot and all she did was first put the hot nufree on and then blew on It instead of having the nufree cool off a bit ... now I've been bleeding for the past 3 days and had to visit the doctor because she burned and ripped my inner labia. read more

Came in for my first wax at the Marietta location and they were out of the Nurfee wax and no one called to let me know prior to my appointment. I waited for 30 minutes before anyone told me they were out. I drove quite a way for this service, so disappointed. I asked about a discount for the inconvenience for my next wax and the stated they were unable to do that. My first experience for a full body wax and so disappointed. To top it all off they asked me to call them if I book again to make sure they have it in stock. Usually don't post BUT- went to get eyelash extensions and within 2 hours they started falling off. When I went back (same day) to talk to them about it, they said that the technician forgot to put glue on (seems important). They said they could fix it but I was in a hurry to pick up my kids from school. I didn't have time that day and wouldn't have time for the rest of the week. I asked for a refund since they could only fix it within the same week. She said since the service e was already provided I was SOL. In my opinion that seems inappropriate since my extensions lasted 2 HOURS, when they're supposed to last a week. Very poor experience. read more

This was my first time at this location. However, I have visited the Buckhead location a few times a couple of years back. The first ding was when I noticed no trash liner in the can. The second ding was when the technician proceeded to put on gloves without sanitizing her hands. Then, she proceeded to use an non-labeled products on me. I had to ask twice what they were before she proceeded. Next, things got painfully uncomfortable very quickly. From the first rip, I knew I was in trouble. I inquired if this company uses hard wax versus the soft. This person, who I believe might have been trained by this company but not licensed, her response did not line up to basic knowledge pertaining to hair removal at all. She stated the business does not use hard wax because it causes hair breakage. I had to blow my cover and let her know I was an esthetician. Furthermore, I informed her if you lay, mold, and pull correctly you minimized broken hairs (hint: one of the culprits for in-grown hairs). The services were extremely fast and unnecessarily uncomfortable. Did I mention she missed some hairs...didn't want to assume my serviced areas were free and clear. I paid for this torture....however...I will not be back. My take away is if you are not licensed...I am not surrendering my body to beauty science for you to torture me. I hope whomever reads this finds it helpful to know...you truly risk getting what you pay for when it comes to trained versus licensed individuals. read more

Asma especially is fantastic - takes her time and gives great attention to detail. The salon is clean and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a walk in appointment.
