    Real world price

Our 2005 Mustang wouldn't start, got towed to Way Scarff. Needed a fuel pump, pump control unit and some other things. Pump has been discontinued by Ford, they had to get aftermarket unit from NAPA, cost them $311. WS billed me $541 for that part, a $230 overcharge. The control unit is a Ford part, list price of $191, but can be had from Ford for $98. WS billed me $229 for the control unit, a $131 overcharge. Total bill was $3,927 which includes the total overcharges of $360. I complained to my service advisor with no satisfaction. He offered me a "free" oil change next time, nothing more. Unacceptable. I sent multiple messages to Way Scarff's general manager. No one there has bothered to call or message me back regarding these overcharges. I have been a customer at WS for decades, have always been satisfied-- until now. Overcharging for parts is neither appropriate or appreciated. I will no longer use Way Scarff Ford for any reason. Appears that customer satisfaction is no longer available at WS. It has been supplanted by greed and profit maximization. My getting ripped off by these people happened once, and that's enough. My business is going elsewhere.

Best dealership to do business with, they've been around for 100+ years from the sales department to the service center, this dealership is simply like a well-oiled machine, they'll take care of you and your loved ones, highly recommend!!!!

We worked with Joaquin Sheckler. They had the right color and model we were looking for. It was less than the same car from multiple other dealers by a bit. So we worked the deal and drove home in a new Trailseeker. It was a good experience and I highly recommend working with them if you're looking for a new or used car.

I fully understand what purchasing a vehicle "as-is" means, and I accepted those terms. However, I…read moredo not believe "as-is" should extend to items that were misrepresented. Before purchasing my vehicle from Rairdon Auto Sales in Auburn, I specifically asked about recent servicing and an electronic issue I had noticed. I was verbally assured that the vehicle had been serviced, including fluids and filters, and that the electronic concern had been inspected by a manufacturer's dealership and confirmed to be normal. After the purchase, the issue persisted, so I had the vehicle evaluated by an authorized dealership. They confirmed there was, in fact, an electronic issue and noted several maintenance items had not been completed as represented, including low or dirty fluids and an unchanged engine air filter. I chose Rairdon as a large, reputable dealership because I expected a high level of honesty and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. For future buyers, I would strongly encourage independent verification of any claims prior to purchase rather than relying solely on verbal assurances. Reputation matters, but it ultimately relies on the integrity and follow-through of those representing the business.

I flew from the San Francisco area to purchase a vehicle from Westlie Ford after wiring over $54,000 in advance. Once they had my money, the customer service completely changed. They canceled their airport pickup service at the last minute, leaving me to arrange my own transportation from Portland to the dealership. When I arrived, I found paint chips that had not been disclosed, despite being told the vehicle was "flawless" cosmetically. When I raised the issue, management became argumentative instead of addressing the concern professionally. The most disappointing part was dealing with sales manager Mike Melnick. During a disagreement over the undisclosed paint damage, I was told they no longer wanted to sell me the vehicle--even though I had already wired the full purchase amount and traveled hundreds of miles specifically to complete the deal. The situation became especially frustrating because I felt like I was being put in the position of having to convince them to honor the sale and complete the transaction. After already paying in full and making the trip, having to essentially plead my case to buy the vehicle felt unnecessary and demeaning. I ultimately purchased the car because I had already invested the time, travel, and money, but the experience was one of the most unprofessional dealership interactions I've ever had. If you're considering buying from Westlie Ford, especially from out of state, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

This is a follow up to a review that I have started posting about somewhere about a year ago…read more There was damage to a truck we purchased that was agreed upon it would be repaired. We found concealed damage and the lack of the interior being cleaned. There was dog hair everywhere, including clogging the cabin air filter. I was told to contact someone at the business to get the items taken care of. On August 18, 2025 I took the truck in for service and met with a person who identified himself as the sales manager. I showed him the correspondence to and from the business. He told me he was sorry for the issues. They would be taken care of and the truck would have a complete interior and exterior detailing done for my trouble. On October 20, 2025 I attempted to contact the sales manager via text message, sending the list of issues. There was no response to my message. On October 31, 2025 I once again attempted to contact the sales manager via text. I shows he read the message, but did not respond. On November 17, 2025 I once again attempted to contact the sales manager via telephone, leaving a long message. Again, there has not been a response. Attached in the photo of the list I sent, along with my notes.

The car was in pretty good shape,…read morebut definitely had issues and Bryan was very open and willing to deal with me on the price based on me fixing a few things rather then them having to do it. We initially couldn't settle on price but Bryan reviewed a few things and called me back within a day to confirm he would accept my price. He was never high pressure or anything other than open and professional with the whole process, even when we agreed to disagree on price. Within 2 weeks discovered a hidden crack in the top of the radiator, that didn't show during our rather lengthy test drive. When I called Bryan back he got right on it and had arrangements with his connections for us to have things fixed--on our dime but at his cost. He wanted us to be happy, and it worked out just fine. Felt this was like buying a car from my uncle or something. I would recommend anyone looking for a reliable, honest used car source stop in and talk to Bryan about what you want, whether they have it or not. They'll get it for you and take care of you.

We had taken the vehicle to another auto dealer as they were going to buy the car, but VWFS were jerks and refused to provide payoff info to them. So, off we went to BCVW. Not sure of the lady's name we dealt with, but she greeted us with a smile and was very willing to work with us. We explained our problem, showed her the offer we had received from other business. She took pictures of car and commented on how good the car looked (I spent the previous day removing personal items, cleaning car, removing stickers/license plate holders, etc). She was very excited and took the car for a test drive. Came back all smiles. After an inspection by mechanics (the only problem was the touch screen on the stereo which quit working sometime back), she offered us $100 more than other business. We graciously accepted the offer. Even the person who sends payments to finance companies was chomping at the bit ready to send payment to VWFS to pay off the car She didn't even try to get us into another vehicle! She listened to us and followed through for us. By the time we left, our car was their property and we had a check in hand of over $2800 (the proceeds after paying VWFS just over $2600) Would we ever buy a VW again? Nope. We won't even deal with VWFS again. We would only deal with BCVW if we worked with this rep or someone else who would listen to us and work with us! Next time, we are paying cash for the vehicle we buy.

Less than 24 hours later, my car was throwing a low oil pressure warning and leaking oil everywhere because the job was not completed properly. That's not just sloppy, that's outright negligence that could have destroyed my engine. From there, it only got worse. I had to repeatedly call just to get help, was passed around between staff, and received little to no communication. Promised callbacks never happened, and no one took accountability. Even more concerning, Service Manager Ian Andreassen and General Manager Gary Robinson both ignored my emails and voicemails and, to this day, have not responded. Completely unacceptable from leadership. I was also told my vehicle would be towed the same day due to safety concerns, only to find out later it was left overnight because of their internal mistakes. No follow-up, no confirmation, no regard for my concerns. I still have no explanation for the overcharge and no reassurance about potential engine damage caused by their error. This service department is disorganized, unresponsive, and careless. They turned a basic service into a serious issue and then failed to take any responsibility. Take your vehicle somewhere else unless you want to deal with the same level of incompetence!! Worst dealership service experience I've ever had. Avoid Bud Clary Volkswagen at all costs.

Go here for your next car, you won't regret it…read more My experience at Prestige Auto Market was not what I expected when I first got to the dealership (In a very good way). We (my wife and I) were greeted by a salesperson named Denis. He was friendly, laid back and asked me which vehicle I was there to see and I told him the Blue Range Rover Sport Supercharged over there. We have been thinking about one but never actually seen one in person or test drive one. He got the key quickly and handed it over so we could check out the rig. We are coming from a 400whp STI and I needed to let go of my toy for a better more comfortable family car, we still have the Jeeps though. They had a sweet fully built newer STI there while I was there too. Anyhoo, the Rover was very clean inside and out, it wasnt just a detail job, the quality was actually very well kept for its age and mechanically you could tell that it was in great working order. I fired it up and it sounded just like it should, looked over the vehicle as I was letting it warm up, under the hood checked all the belts, fluids, checked for leaks or weird noises and played with the air suspension. Denis was able to answer all the questions I had about it and then I handed over license and insurance card and went for a drive. We weren't sure what to expect as this was our first time in one but I've been a car guy my whole life and a mechanic so I listened for all the little noises, bumps, vibrations to signal if there was anything wrong. We got back very satisfied with the Rover and knew this was the type of vehicle we wanted to get. Denis came back out to meet us once we got back and see what we thought. We told him we liked it but were just starting to look at them. We looked at a lot and honestly weren't really planning on going back because we had some others in mind, but the service we got from Denis and the way the condition of all the other cars on their lot you can tell they care about the condition both mechanical and cosmetic on their cars and we went back later on and looked again while talking with Denis. 3rd time when we showed up Denis was with a customer and I spoke with Vadim. I had a question about a strange looking plug that I had never seen before and he not only knew what it was but it impressed me he knew and it ended up being a weird charging port for an old Nokia lol. He was able to answer any other questions I had too and had same atmosphere as Denis, no pressure and very friendly. The manager Tony is a solid guy, also very friendly and laid back, he worked with me on the deal and at first we were looking to trade my other vehicle but he was upfront and honest and said they just couldn't swing the deal and was really kind and honest about it. Didn't talk bad about my trade or anything or scoff at me like has been done to me at other dealerships. That told me we were in the right place, absolutely solid character and good people. We ended up selling our car private party and came in, worked out a deal and they went above and beyond making sure that all of my concerns were addressed and taken care of before we moved forward. It didn't feel like a dealership but more like a chill hangout spot with good friends. I've been to a lot of dealers all over and I have never been in an environment like that with a dealership, or anywhere that I've ever purchased anything honestly. It wasnt fake friendly, they were genuine, and sincere in how they treated me. When we were filling out paperwork I had my 1 year old son with me and they didn't get upset by him being silly and running around, the guys were helpful in keeping an eye on him while I was filling out paperwork. There is a very sweet lady who works there as well named Lana who helped keep an eye on him too and she gave us a bag of cookies they have there I think it was double fudge Grannies cookies I wanna say, and I was able to give him a little snack and helped keep him occupied. We talked a little about our kids and it was just the icing on the cake that made it a purely enjoyable experience. Never in a million years would I have imagined those words would ever come out of my mouth. I've always left dealerships pissed off and a sour taste in my mouth because they dont care about you, once they have the salt they just disregard you and you get put on the back burner. Not at Prestige, I also appreciated that we went through the paperwork fast. It didn't take hours like most places. We had all paperwork done within 20 minutes and I was down at my rig installing carseat and loading up the boyo. We are now the proud new owners of the Range Rover, we got it for a price that I can't argue with and we want to thank the guys and gal at Prestige Auto Market for exceeding our expectations and then some. Tony, Denis, Vadim, and Lana keep up the good work. If anyone is looking for a vehicle, check these guys out first.
