We stumbled on this place by accident. So HAPPY we did. The food was delicious. Lucca, our server, was friendly, attentive, and efficient. We had a wonderful experience. They are situated off Moraine with a big beautiful lake in their backyard. Great ambiance. We would come here again.

Our service was as cold as the weather outside, and much slower than it should've been, given the fact there was only one other occupied table present in the vast, windowed room. My husband enjoyed his burger with fries, and our view was extra cozy, given the gentle snowfall just beyond the sizable glass. I have dietary restrictions due to autoimmune diseases, and the waitress at least was able to conjure up something safe enough for me to eat. Was the chicken on my salad flavorful? No. But do I appreciate the effort to feel included? Yes, 100%. This is a place I wouldn't mind revisiting, given the convenient location, following a hike in Estes. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop in!

When we first came in and looked at the menu, my husband and I were almost ready to walk out because of how high the prices were. Everything on the menu is an average of $20-$26+ and that's even for things as simple as appetizers, salads or sandwiches. However, when we got our food and tried it, absolutely delicious!!! Made more sense for the pricing. Unfortunately we probably will not come back here just because of the high prices but we got engaged here in 2017 (when it was a different restaurant) so it was still special to come back for the last time

After horseback riding in the Rocky Mountains, our tour guide recommended Wayfinder to grab lunch. First impression is the parking situation on the outside is a mess. There's not enough parking because right next to the restaurant is a country store and they share the same parking lot. The view is beautiful from the restaurant. You can see the mountains and it's breath taking. The service is really great here and we were seated without wait. I ordered the bison burger medium and it was cooked to the right temp. This is the first bison burger I tried that was not dry! It was cooked perfectly. The burger is under seasoned. French fries weren't anything special and the burger wasn't anything special. The bacon was thick and crispy which I loved! My friend got the pasta dish and said it was ok. It wasn't anything special either. It was cheesy and the garlic butter toast was perfect. Prices were priced at the higher end. Do I recommend this place? Its not a blown you mind type of food and it's overly priced. I personally will not be coming back but I also live out of state.

We went here twice. Awesome. For Breakfast and then same day for dinner. Why go looking for something else when they are what you want. Service both times was wonderful. Love the atmosphere. Really a classy place, I will say the outside made me wonder but the inside omg! So pretty! Food was fantastic. Crème brûlée was to crave for more for sure!

This was my personal favorite breakfast in Estes Park! My eggs benedict, which I got on a biscuit, and breakfast potatoes were very tasty. I also loved the biscuits and gravy! We both got horchata lattes that we really enjoyed. Unfortunately my husband did not care for his chicken and waffles and he is a chicken and waffles connoisseur so I will trust his judgement. Our server was very friendly and she makes a great latte! It seems like they have beautiful outdoor seating as well in the warmer months.

Everything about this place was fairly average. The menu is extensive, but because I was not in a position to take leftovers home, I was not interested in a large entrée. Perhaps my experience would have been different had I chosen a steak or fish. My husband ordered a basic burger. I was expecting something juicy and delicious. Frankly, the patty was pretty small and it was very, very ordinary. The cheesy grits had a nice texture, but they were very bland. I has the super salad. it looked delicious and tasted pretty good. I was a little disappointed that some of the berries were squishy and at least one had mold on it. Our server was nice enough, but she was very quiet and really hard to hear. She could've been more attentive, especially considering the restaurant was not very crowded. The exterior of the building could definitely use some work. Inside was decent enough, but a little TLC would really take it up several notches.

I had high expectations after reading the reviews on Yelp! This is a cute and cozy restaurant located just outside the national park. We were one of two parties seated in the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, I was bummed because they said us in the dining room near the parking lot while there was an entire dining room with a large window overlooking a frozen pond. We would have loved the dining area with the view, however I feel we were seated closer to the kitchen. They have a big menu which would be a bonus for families or those traveling with picky eaters. We all found something we liked, but the prices did not match the quality of the food. Our meal was fine, but not exceptional.

I would give this place a 3.5 stars. It's actually a decent place for diner food, especially for the area. We went after a weekend trip and it was an enjoyable place with nice service. Now, this might have been on me, but for some reason, I decided to order the Breakfast Trout. By all means, it was not bad, just a little bland. It was fine, but I would not order it again. It was also decently sized. The other people in my party ordered more usual breakfast dishes, they said that their orders were good but again, lacking a little bit of flavor. Though to be fair, there's not much to do with regular breakfast food. Overall, it's a nice place, but I'm not clawing to be back here next time I'm in Estes Park.

We ate here twice during our stay in Estes park. The staff is friendly and helpful with the menu. The one thing that stood out for us compared to other restaurants we ate at in Estes Park was their service. They were on top of their game checking on us frequently and providing g refills as needed. Another restaurant that we visited we didn't have a waiter come to our table for over 15 minutes after being seated! We liked Wayfinder for several reasons. We were able to sit on the deck with our dog for a meal. The food is fantastic- everything g we got or saw coming out of the kitchen was prepared well. Between our two visits we ordered the elk. Burger (no picture), steak and fries, and rainbow trout. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice with big open windows overlooking the pond behind the restaurant.

I slept about 4 hours the night before to make it early for sunrise. To say that a few tasty beers were what the doctor ordered would be the understatement of the century! None of this matters, of course, to the good folks at Rocky Cut Brewing Company. This is off the main drag of Estes in an unassuming strip plaza. Humble vibes inside, a simple U-shaped bar top with seating all around, a few smaller tables, a community table, and a large patio with mostly picnic table seating. If you're lucky, snag a stool right along the Big Thompson River! Though, I recommend they fix the wooden placeholders for beers, they're leaning on the wrong side of history, we don't want any full glasses of beer reaching an unnecessary demise! Interference IPA * American IPA * 6.7% * 16oz ($7) From their website: "Climbing the Interference Boulder in Rocky Mountain National Park requires strength and power. This Colorado IPA showcases the power of hops with an intense blend forging citrus aromas with a pine forward finish. Featured ingredients: Cascade, El Dorado, Mosaic, Chinook, & Simcoe hops * Recommended adventure: hiking Black Lake, climbing the Twin Owls, skiing upper Hidden Valley." A perfectly apt description. I would summarize this beer just as they did, focusing on hops, citrus, and pine. Absolutely delicious, a memorable IPA in recent memory. I liked it so much I ordered it again and it tasted just as delicious the second time down! They also had a food truck outside, so safe to assume they do this often. Would love to try more of their beers during my next visit. Rock Cut, I see you!

There were a couple of mix-ups with our order, including Mezcal which has a very distinct taste accidentally being added to my margarita, and some incorrect side dishes but the staff handled everything quickly and professionally. Since the restaurant had only recently reopened with a new menu, the mistakes were understandable. I ordered the Smashburger with fries, and my friend had the chicken fajita sandwich with a salad. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable for the area. The rooftop offers beautiful views of Estes Park and is conveniently located right in the shopping district. The only downside was the orange barrier coverings around parts of the rooftop while renovations were being completed. They blocked some of the views and took away a bit of the ambiance. Once those renovations are finished, this will be an even better spot. Great food, attentive service, and a fantastic location, I would definitely visit again once the renovations are completed.

We sat down and about 10 minutes later, a couple sat behind us and our waitress visited and brought water to their table first instead of ours. In addition, another couple behind us was not seen by any waiter/waitress and had to ask a worker (who might have been an assistant manager? Although, not clear what his position was) if they can order with him. Overall service felt scattered, a bit slow overall, and unprofessional. Food: I ordered the tex mex bowl with barbacoa. It tasted as expected, nothing spectacular. However, there was a massive piece of plastic in my food. I let the waitress know and she apologized on behalf of the kitchen. I kept the meal because I hate waste and I didn't see any other plastic pieces in the food. Right after I found the plastic, I also discovered a bone in the meat. It was big enough to hurt a tooth if I had bit down on it but thankfully I spit it out before I chewed my food completely. While a bone might be normal to find in meat, I was certainly unhappy that now two objects were in this food. I was never comped for my meal and the manager never visited my table to apologize. I only write reviews if I had a fantastic experience or when I feel the need to warn others about the restaurant. I recommend choosing another restaurant before choosing this one if you prefer quality food and service.

It tasted like the oil wasn't hot enough and the chicken spent way too long taking a bath in it. The biscuits were good, the coleslaw was actually excellent, and the fries were just... fries. My sister ordered her burger medium, but it came out raw, which definitely didn't help. We had lunch at Stanley last summer and the food was fantastic. After one of my go-to nearby restaurants closed down, I decided to venture here for a burger. This place rocks! Boss Burgers and Gyros reminds me of a classic dive that we all know and love. Nothing fancy, no frills, no fuss, no pretentiousness, just tasty food at an affordable price. You order at the counter and the cashier gives you a table number. Plenty of outdoor seating with some indoor seating as well. This place gets pretty busy, but the staff hustles. Kitchen is cranking out relatively quick ticket times so you don't have to wait that long at all. For a cheeseburger with bacon and jalapeños and an order of cheese fries, this was $14 and change. And I added the bacon and jalapeños to the burger! In Denver, this would be $25, haha. The cheese fries (small) were really enough for two people. So you get your money's worth after a day exhausting yourself at RMNP. Burger was great. I added some mustard to mine at the table. It comes with LTO, ketchup, and mayo. This tastes like what you want at a backyard BBQ. Served on a red plastic tray with paper lining, this mom and pop place dishes humble food without breaking the bank. Bacon was crispy, cheese was melty, I had no complaints! Only knock on the cheese fries were that they desperately needed salt. It's not the best burger place of all time, but it doesn't need to be. These are the types of places I love supporting. Will return and maybe try an elk dog next time!
