Like I said, nice little off leash trails if you want a cute adventure and then about a mile long paved road if you wanna stick to just something short and simple. Great neighborhood park!…read more There are paved walking paths that lead wound the park and end into the neighborhoods. There is even a beautiful metal and wood bridge that crosses the creek. The playground is small but kept neat. They replaced the wood chips with AstroTurf to give the park a modern look. The equipment is great for little kids. There's a basketball court for the older kids and there's a gazebo with tables so you can take a rest from all the fun. Even grills if you want to have a cookout. There are tables and trash cans placed around the park so you can have your own celebration. The park is usually quiet during the week. On weekends there are events like soccer games or workout sessions. The walking paths in the park are lit at night with lamp posts but there were less lights as you get closer to the neighborhoods. So I would bring a flashlight if you fancy a night stroll. Overall, a great little park!

There is not a ton of parking nearby but you can park in the neighborhoods or over by the Barbara Bush track before the middle school opens in the mornings. This is also a great destination to view the sunrise or sunset skies and it is colorful with lots of nature. Lots of runners and walkers meet in the area in the mornings to do their daily miles. Bring a flashlight and a buddy if you workout in the earlier hours of the day or towards sunset. But great for families or your furry friends.
