The pizza is really great! The sauce is definitely not like every chain (Dominos, Za Hut, etc.) We've been ordering from here for at least 7 years. There have only been a couple of times when something wasn't up to par. There are times when they need more staff answering calls. We have been ordering pizza from Waynes for years. It was usually very good pizza. However, twice now in the past month we were delivered pizza that was not up to par. The first time the mushrooms were all stacked in the center of the pizza, not spread out. The second time the pizza was not cooked properly. The ingredients were sliding all over the pizza and gathered to one side. The crust has not been the same crispy crust. It is chewy now. Also, the mushrooms and green peppers are now only thin shavings. They used to be much larger pieces. I am pausing from ordering from Waynes for now.. I guess I will go back to Rosati's in Richmond though I used to like Waynes much better. read more

Wayne's was a friend's choice at a recent get together (don't worry, way less than 10 people before you Coronavirus shame me) and I was overall very pleased with the choice. We had sausage pizza, mozzarella sticks, and two kinds of wings--teriyaki and barbecue. The pizza was very good, though the cheese was far more plentiful in the middle than the edges. I did appreciate that the sausage was quite mild and didn't upset my stomach like some pizzas can do. The wings were decent, BW3s doesn't have anything to worry about but they also are above your store bought version. There was a bit too much sauce pooling in the bottom of the container and some of the wings were a bit too fatty. The worst was the mozzarella sticks; I can make better ones in my air fryer from Costco. While not everything was a smash, I would definitely give Wayne's another try! read more

IYKYK! This is the first classic thin crust pizza I've had in 20+ years and it was AMAZING! I had cheese and sausage and the taste brought back so many memories. Enough about me gushing; the place is classic! It's cozy and friendly. The staff is a little less than professional but was still pleasant all around. The business is attached to a gas station but unaffiliated which is nice. If I lived in the area, I'd eat here regularly. read more

Not sure how long ago, 2019ish, I had stopped into Wayne's and wasn't really pleased with the pizza slice and whatever else I bought. Yesterday I stopped to get gas at BP and felt like I needed to have Wayne redeem themselves...and they did. The tomato, spinach, garlic pizza slice was awesome, and the Hot Dog Special was better than expected. I gave 5 stars because the hot dogs looked like a work of art on my tray. Pepperoni does not belong under the cheese. It tastes way better on top. And when I asked why it is under the cheese I was told so it doesn't fall off, really. Wow so Bad! Sorry went there last night for my moms birthday and got just cheese pizzas. She has trouble eating a lot of toppings! Wow so Bad! The crust was just like cardboard and not really edible!! The cheese was oily so we pretty much had to just eat some cheese with a salad and throw the rest out! Not a fan. Good in a pinch, but quality n flavor in the pizzas are lacking. One of their servers/counter people, Jazmine, is always a joy to deal with. She always has a smile in her eyes, and seems genuinely happy to be there. She doesn't use what's become the "Wayne's Unofficial Tag Line"...... It'll be just a couple more minutes. Very good pizza! We were in the area yesterday as my brother was getting hip replacement surgery. We had a couple of hours to wait, and the staff at the surgery center suggested Wayne's Pizza. The restaurant is next to a BP gas station, and had a pretty good crowd as we arrived. Our group ordered Pizza, and some soup. I didn't expect too much, but the Pizza was very good! The crust was very thin and crispy in the classic Chicago Tavern style. A couple of us had soup, which seemed pretty good too. I tried the Chili. It was OK, but nothing special. They consider it xtras and charge like $1 for each. so almost $14 for a sub par Italian beef sandwich and still went light (almost no giardiniera) on all the xtras(that normally come with an Italian beef) no ty. Pizza is usually pretty good. Sometimes it's burnt to where the outside pieces aren't really edible. Also, I can't tell you how many times my family has got half cheese and half pepperoni and we've got totally pepperoni. Normally that wouldn't be a problem except I'm vegetarian and it made it so I couldn't enjoy meals... this has happened at least three times... Sometimes their timing is really off too... on the phone they'll say 25 minutes and it'll end up being more 45+ other than that it's fine. read more

I was told and received an email confirmation of a 35 minute wait when ordering online which turned into a 75 minute wait to get one large pan style pizza. Brought it to the attention of the employees at the front answering phones and taking orders and they verbally apologized. I might give this place another chance as the pizza was decent. read more

We used to love getting pizza here but I don't know what happened to the service. I called an order in for pickup at 6:38 pm and was told it would be 20 minutes until the pizza was done. I arrived and paid the Bill around 6:52 pm. They told me it would be about 7 more minutes, which is acceptable. While waiting, I asked for a current menu with updated pricing since I felt the price I was charged was a bit high. I was told there was no updated menu to look at. Another customer came in after me and was handed a menu to order from. How convenient. Anyway, at 7:15 my pizza was brought out to me but the staff made sure I did not receive any paperwork to verify time and pricing. They always used to staple a menu to the box for future ordering. I guess they don't want my business. We arrived home 10 minutes later and the pizza was luke warm. It probably sat on top of the oven for the extra 15 minutes I had to wait. read more

Decent pizza and wings. We've been looking for Chicago deep dish since the one downtown Lake Geneva closed. It's deep dish, not Chicago, so coming in with that understanding this is good pizza with good ingredients and nice staff. We got the large deep with pepperoni and onions. We'd order extra cheese and onions next time but that's our preference. Since it was deep dish without a pan it was a bit doughy. The wings were great. We ordered plain with bbq sauce and teriyaki.
