Saw this place while driving through town, and me and my buddy decided to stop in and grab a slice. To our amazement, this ended up being one of the best smaller pizza joints we've been to. The pizza was seriously great, the prices were good, and the whole place had that local pizza-shop feel. Only downside is I felt like I ate a brick afterward . Definitely worth it though. The pizza is really great! The sauce is definitely not like every chain (Dominos, Za Hut, etc.) We've been ordering from here for at least 7 years. There have only been a couple of times when something wasn't up to par. There are times when they need more staff answering calls. We have been ordering pizza from Waynes for years. It was usually very good pizza. However, twice now in the past month we were delivered pizza that was not up to par. The first time the mushrooms were all stacked in the center of the pizza, not spread out. The second time the pizza was not cooked properly. The ingredients were sliding all over the pizza and gathered to one side. The crust has not been the same crispy crust. It is chewy now. Also, the mushrooms and green peppers are now only thin shavings. They used to be much larger pieces. I am pausing from ordering from Waynes for now.. Wayne's was a friend's choice at a recent get together (don't worry, way less than 10 people before you Coronavirus shame me) and I was overall very pleased with the choice. We had sausage pizza, mozzarella sticks, and two kinds of wings--teriyaki and barbecue. The pizza was very good, though the cheese was far more plentiful in the middle than the edges. I did appreciate that the sausage was quite mild and didn't upset my stomach like some pizzas can do. The wings were decent, BW3s doesn't have anything to worry about but they also are above your store bought version. There was a bit too much sauce pooling in the bottom of the container and some of the wings were a bit too fatty. The worst was the mozzarella sticks; I can make better ones in my air fryer from Costco. While not everything was a smash, I would definitely give Wayne's another try! read more

IYKYK! This is the first classic thin crust pizza I've had in 20+ years and it was AMAZING! I had cheese and sausage and the taste brought back so many memories. Enough about me gushing; the place is classic! It's cozy and friendly. The staff is a little less than professional but was still pleasant all around. Not sure how long ago, 2019ish, I had stopped into Wayne's and wasn't really pleased with the pizza slice and whatever else I bought. Yesterday I stopped to get gas at BP and felt like I needed to have Wayne redeem themselves...and they did. The tomato, spinach, garlic pizza slice was awesome, and the Hot Dog Special was better than expected. I gave 5 stars because the hot dogs looked like a work of art on my tray. Wow so Bad! Sorry went there last night for my moms birthday and got just cheese pizzas. She has trouble eating a lot of toppings! Wow so Bad! Not a fan. Good in a pinch, but quality n flavor in the pizzas are lacking. One of their servers/counter people, Jazmine, is always a joy to deal with. She always has a smile in her eyes, and seems genuinely happy to be there. She doesn't use what's become the "Wayne's Unofficial Tag Line"...... It'll be just a couple more minutes. Very good pizza! We were in the area yesterday as my brother was getting hip replacement surgery. We had a couple of hours to wait, and the staff at the surgery center suggested Wayne's Pizza. The restaurant is next to a BP gas station, and had a pretty good crowd as we arrived. Our group ordered Pizza, and some soup. I didn't expect too much, but the Pizza was very good! The crust was very thin and crispy in the classic Chicago Tavern style. A couple of us had soup, which seemed pretty good too. I tried the Chili. It was OK, but nothing special. Pizza is usually pretty good. Sometimes it's burnt to where the outside pieces aren't really edible. Also, I can't tell you how many times my family has got half cheese and half pepperoni and we've got totally pepperoni. Normally that wouldn't be a problem except I'm vegetarian and it made it so I couldn't enjoy meals... this has happened at least three times... Sometimes their timing is really off too... on the phone they'll say 25 minutes and it'll end up being more 45+ other than that it's fine. read more
