Half the draft selection was out and they had no BBQ (brisket or pork) on the menu (which is like a good part of their menu). The list of what was not available was very long. Really disappointed because I had high hopes. Staff were extremely rude and I received terrible service. My friend is Canadian and they denied her entry because of a foreign ID. When I went to see what happened, I was met with attitude from the bouncer. Wouldn't even answer my question and just repeatedly kept saying "you can either go back inside or stand outside with her." No respect at all, especially when I approached him completely calm and just asked what happened. The table they sat us at was also open for at least 20 minutes before they sat us, which made us wait for no reason at all. They also flour COVID rules and overpacked the place. This bar gave someone else my card then kicked me out for saying that I didn't sign the tab while somebody forged my signature and writing their own tip on my reciept . They gave me a different card with the same last name as me trying to say it was mine I gave it back and kept asking for my card. I then took the forged reciept with me and left the bar. All they had to do was use the book in the front to call the person with the same last name as me but they did not care about the situation and told me to leave. Why do they have a book in the front of the bar to sign if their not going to use it ? This is ridiculous and I would not recommend this bar to anybody. Started off with the brisket taquitos and wings with dry rub, both were very good the ranch that came with the wings tasted homemade and so did the salsas that came with the taquitos. My mom ordered the pulled chicken with a side of mac and cheese and I ordered the prime rib with Mac and cheese and baked beans. The baked beans were very flavor full and tasted almost like a chili, and the mac and cheese is definitely one of the better ones that I have had at any restaurant that didn't specialize in mac and cheese. As for the meats my prime rib was about 60/40 meat to fat. I'm hoping that this was just a bad fluke. The part that wasn't fat was cooked to just how I had asked and the flavor was pretty good. So I feel that there is hope that it could have been better if not for the cut. My mom said the the pulled chicken was good but nothing to right home about. So I would say if you go eat stick with the apps and the side dishes (which could have been a meal in its self). Lastly the service was very good not only did our waitress check in on us from time to time to see how we were doing but other staff members did as well. Oh and one last thing if you are looking more for a restaurant and not a restaurant bar I might find some place else, we went around 4:30/ 5:00 on a Saturday after and the music and TVs were quite loud so if that is something that might bother you I'd eat someplace else. read more

*Im in love* when I say this food was thee bomb! My co-worker recommended this place to me. Today it ended up raining so we couldn't sit outside but I still loved the inside. My waiter name was John and he was so freakin nice and fun. They had this game I. The back that nobody could play because it was somebody back there hogging it up but about this good ole food I had. I got the the Wayward burger with a side of spinach and u friend had the shrimp and grits which was fried (which I never seen in my life) but I did taste it and it was amazing. I will definitely be back because when I left my stomach was swollen and the prices we very inexpensive to me. Decided to give Wayward another try and came in on a Thursday. They have a neat drinking option where your waitress flips a coin and if you guess right, your draft drink is free. Free you say? Yes. Dangerous you ask? Quite possibly. It's a fun option and I haven't seen it in the Fed area. Our group of 4 ended up grabbing food and tried the wings, fries, mac and cheese (still in the small mason jar though) and all were great to munch on. It hurts to write this review. The food was fantastic, but the service just isn't worth it. We sat at the bar early on a Saturday afternoon, which I know is a semi-busy time. However, all of the bartenders were more concerned with talking and telling stories with their friends who were sitting at the other end of the bar. At one point, 5 bartenders were all standing next to a group of 3 guys telling stories. It was absolutely absurd. By the time our food came out, we were already so turned off. The food, unlike the service, was great- especially the pork belly!! TIP: unless your friends/ on a first name basis with bartenders, don't come. It's not worth the wait for service. read more

On walking by, this place looks like it has a lot of potential to be a cool and different restaurant/bar for the federal hill neighborhood. They have a cool outdoor area that opens up with a garage door (which is limited in Federal Hill), a rustic theme throughout, and 2 huge bar areas. The food is tasty, but slightly overpriced for the neighborhood. They do have a great happy hour, but their "small bite" selection does not offer a large variety.
