The two veggie dishes were very good and flavorful. My husband ordered the Vegan combo. He enjoyed all 5 dishes, and felt that unlike some Ethiopian vegs he's had in the past, each dish had its own unique flavor. His least favorite typically is the collard greens, but this time he added a bit of Berbera spice from the shaker on the table, and he loved that one, too. The only slight disappointment for him was the beets and potato dish, which last time was his favorite, but this time seemed a bit on the dry side. But still very delicious. Service was exceptionally pleasant and kind. The food took a while to arrive (about 25-30 minutes). But it's been my experience that Ethiopian food is often a bit slower, so we were prepared to wait. I uploaded photos of a handful of menu pages, since the prices on their website are old. Unfortunately, even their menu is a bit outdated in places, since it had my Mini Combo at $16.50, but the current price turned out to be $17.50. A great experience!

To me, it feels kinda like a larger version of a soup dumpling without the pool of the broth inside. My first visit was pleasant, which is why I decided to come back. This time, I ordered what I believe was the tri-tip steak wrap. As I was finishing the first half of my wrap, I noticed a dead fly in my food. Needless to say, I was shocked and immediately lost my appetite. I walked to the front and asked to speak with a manager. The cashier who helped me was very friendly and professional. I explained the situation to her, and she relayed it to the manager. While I do appreciate that they refunded my meal, what disappointed me most was the manager's response. He never came over to speak with me, apologize, or acknowledge the situation directly. From where I was standing, he appeared visibly disturbed when informed, but he simply instructed the cashier to issue a refund and never addressed me as the customer. I understand that mistakes happen and that it was a busy lunch rush. However, finding a fly in a meal is a serious food safety issue, and I believe a manager or owner should take a moment to personally speak with the customer, show concern, and offer an apology. A little empathy would have gone a long way. The refund was appreciated, but the lack of acknowledgment and customer care left a much stronger impression than the refund itself. Unfortunately, after this experience, I'm hesitant to return.
