I'm a bit late to the review game, as Dan's team did a live hive removal back in April 2020. 9 months previously, I had paid another North County Bee Removal company to remove a hive that had been built in a hollow under my roof. That company "guaranteed" that if the bees came back, they'd remove the hive. The hive was rebuilt because the original removal team didn't remove or seal up pheromone materials that attracts bees. Being deathly allergic, I was very alarmed when the first warm weather hit, I was getting bees flying into my house through tiny cracks in decorative masonary, with upwards of 60+ daily over just a weekend. Dan called me back within 24 hours of my panicked Friday night call, reassured me that the bees were not going to "attack" me, and that his team would be out by the following Tuesday at the latest. They came out a day early, explained the job, took pictures for where I'd need my roofer to reinforce their repairs, and were done by nightfall. We discovered a swarm of bees in the corner of the house and not wanting to kill the bees, I found Bee Man Dan and made the call. Laurie responded and we exchanged some text messages and two days later, a very large hive was removed from our roof and taken away to a bee keeper. Christoper and Jared were so nice, and happy to save the bees. They opened our roof, removed the hive, left us with the honey, and a completely sealed roof. Dan the bee man, This is a experience I'll never forget. Dan is so devoted to saving the bees and his assistant Jenny had such wonderful personalities. They were both great to work with. He took time to explained to me and answer any questions I had through the process and even took pictures with our phones while they were doing their job. For the second time, we've had a swarm of bees move into our house. The first time they were in our water meter box at the street, and I found a local beekeeper to coax them out. This time they were in our CHIMNEY, and I spoke with 3-4 other live bee-removal companies before I finally hooked up with Dan. Everyone else agreed - if you have bees in your chimney, then you've got no choice but to kill them. Bee Man Dan had a different idea. Dan built a mesh grid on top of the chimney, with a cone of metal mesh leading straight out. Bees could get out, but not back in. Wait, it gets better! He built a portable hive out of cardboard, and strapped it up right next to their one and only exit from our chimney. Over the course of 3 weeks all the bees moved out, and at the end they transported the queen to the new hive, OUTSIDE of the chimney! Dan and his crew then came and moved the box for me, and now I have a real hive in the corner of my large backyard, full of bona-fide local bees. Thanks Dan! A very professional company. They show up when they said they would, early in fact. Bee wranglers couldn't have been nicer. They brought everything they needed. They were fast and took care to not damage the bees or trees. Office people were also super nice. We sent pictures. The bees were docile so they advised to wait a couple of days to see if bees would move along by themselves. There was no pressure to do work. We decided when we wanted bees removed and then they were gone. Price is competitive. The thing that sold me on them was that they love bees. Bees were donated to local beekeepers. Bee man Dan's company is awesome! Bee Wrangler Hutch and Casey came out, spent over 12 hours here moving my bees safely to boxes to go to their new home. These guys were very knowledgeable about bees, and obviously cared, and were fun to have around! They even came back to pick up the remaining little lost bees:) These bees had been moving into the eve of my house, and down inside a closet! I spent time searching for a company that cared about saving our bees and moving them safely to a place where they would flourish. Best in class business. We are in Trabuco Canyon and found a large hive under our "fake rock" that covered our sprinkler system. Called Bee Man Dan and they came out the next day. Dan never actually came to my home, but I can't thank him enough for his excellent customer service. On a Friday afternoon a couple months ago I had bees entering through a vent on the exterior of my home. Some bees were in my bedroom, too. Being that my husband was deployed and I was home caring for my baby and toddler alone, I needed help handling the bees that were getting into my home. I was so afraid that my children would get stung. I had called other bee removal companies who simply could not help me. The other two vendors I looked at just wanted to gas the poor bees and when I asked if they could be saved, the cost was crazy (they obviously were not interested in the route.) We did not want to hire an exterminator to remove the bees which had invaded our roof and attic--there are enough bees dying off in the world today. This was not cheap but there was a lot of labor involved--making and repairing a hole in the roof to access the honeycomb and remove the bees. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and information I received from everyone at We Save Bees. Emberlin and Ray were the "Bee Wranglers" who relocated the thousands of bees who took up residence under the floor of my shed. The job turned out to be larger than anticipated and they had to make two trips to get the remaining bees who were out and about during the first move. They did all the work, installed screens on the base of the shed to keep future bees out, repaired the shed floor, relocated the bees for a very reasonable price. While getting a new roof we discovered bees nesting under roof deck just inside the eaves. If there were 6 stars, I would give them that rating. Dan and his team, Casey and Simon were the best. We had a swarm in the wall of our house next to the chimney. I could not open a door or a window without having bees in the house. Then they came in through the fireplace from the chimney. If you have the same problem, thoroughly close off the fireplace with plastic garbage bags. The team removed the hive with over 30,000 bees and relocated them with the queen bee. They removed the roof tiles, cleaned everything out, replaced the two by fours and the flashing around the chimney and bee proofed the openings. The work was exceptional. The team was professional and courteous and very hard working. Dan is very knowledgeable about anything bees. Their experienced service and professionalism is as good as it gets. read more

We Save Bees was exactly what we wanted. They were quick to respond with an estimate, Dan was incredibly easy to work with and they were efficient with removing the bees safely. The bees were in the wall between our garage and the exterior of our home.
