I'm from Pueblo. I was a student and lived in Denver during the week and went home to Pueblo on the weekends in 2009. During the cold weather, my front Driver's side axle was making a loud noise that sounded like maybe ice breaking when I turned the steering wheel. It was actually the ballbearings and the axle falling apart! My husband and I owned an auto collision center for years in Colorado Springs and he also does mechanical repairs. Without telling Tom and his crew any of that history, they diagnosed, estmated the cost of the repair and parts for me. I called my husband in Pueblo and gave him the scoop. He said it was all right on and paid the bill via phone with his debit card. They fixed it ONE time! I have never had a problem with it since. Tom: Great mechanic and even better man. I took my car in as the air conditioning had failed(referred to him from my sister, nothing but positives experiences) , he gave me very competitive estimate to fix it, unfortunately I didn't have the money to fix it (new college grad). He was able to remove the fluid in the AC system and I replaced the compressor. Then simply took it back in to have it refilled. While getting it refilled he was talking to a customer about how to fix a problem he was having, Tom expected nothing in return. After that an elderly lady came in with a simple issue and he happily fixed it for her for the price of a few chocolate chip cookies. I recommend Weaver Automotive to everyone Tom knows what he is doing and unlike some mechanics he is not looking to make a quick buck but rather looking to help his customers any way he can. read more

I've been to Weaver's 3 times in the past couple of months. First 2 visits: Oil change, fixed front bumper and was impressed by customer service and pricing. Tom was great and communicated immediately when my car was ready for pick-up. Third visit...my wedding band slid down into my center console (what?!?how?!!) and Tom assured me we could get it out. I dropped off the car the next AM and they had my wedding band back within an hour. AND they didn't even charge me for the time to remove the console pieces and retrieve the ring. Like Blythe B. said, it's a surprise anybody would give Weavers a bad review. Owner Tom and Ron treat me and my family respectfully and honestly. When it's not fixable, they say so, and don't try to take advantage. Their estimate matches the final price. Their gas is more expensive than a chain because the gas company charges them more. So go to a chain ... They don't charge you to fill your tires. If they do something wrong, they fix it for free. They are not omniscient and will not be able to predict how your used car will hold up in the future. You could do much worse than Weavers. read more

I had issues with my daughter car. Didn't know where to go because I have heard horror stories about mechanics who take advantage of women who don't know much about cars and don't have husbands. Tom Weaver is the most awesome, experienced, amazing mechanic I have ever worked with. He has kept my 1985 toyota tercel and my 1986 toy truck running like a top for 20 years. He bends over backwards to make sure I can get my disabled vehicle to his shop and to get home if safely if I cannot find a ride. I have been going to Weaver's since I was 15. They are fantastic--always prompt and honest on car repairs and any work that needs to be done. They have saved me from spend unnecessary hundreds of dollars many times by doing preventative repairs. They are always friendly and available. All around fantastic. I am a huge fan of Weaver's and Tom. I had a flat tire issue and called in the morning. I drove in with two kids in the car and he promptly took care of us even though he was working on multiple cars and had a full lot. He was professional, fast, and gracious.
