I took my car to this shop twice due to front brake problems. The first time they diagnosed warped rotors due to a stuck driver-side caliper. They turned the rotors, unstuck the caliper, and things were good for a while. About 18 months later, the brake problems returned, and this time they diagnosed it as warped rotors due to a stuck passenger-side caliper. They supposedly fixed the caliper, but said I needed new pads and rotors. Being fairly handy with car maintenance, I decided to do the brake job myself. When I went to replace the brakes about 600 miles later, I found that the passenger caliper was absolutely not fixed. The pins, which should slide freely, were so stuck that I had to use pliers to pull one out. The culprit was a swollen rubber bushing that should have been replaced, and it seems more likely that they simply failed to correctly fix this than it going bad after only 600 miles. The driver's side caliper which they'd previously fixed was also similarly stuck again, if not quite as bad. Ultimately I had to replace a bunch of hardware in the calipers I'd paid them to fix, in addition to replacing the pads and rotors. And it's a good thing, because if I'd had them do the pads and rotors, I suspect that either a) they'd quickly go bad again due to the calipers or b) they'd charge me an arm and a leg for whole new calipers. read more

Had to rent U-Haul and tow it back to them on the promise, "We'll make it right!" After more than 6 months--MORE THAN SIX MONTHS!!!--no communication from them--and an accident with my car on a test drive after transmission #3 was defective...I got my car back...at a remote location...apparently to avoid any confrontation at their shop! They ruined my life, my car, and my savings. SO DISAPPOINTING AS IM THEIR NEIGHBOR, if you want to save yourself over 8 thousand dollars, 4 trips to the shop and the cost of 4 rental cars go somewhere else, ANYWHERE ELSE. I called them on a Monday and they said they were booking for next week, but if I could drop my car off for a few days they will take a look at it when they have a chance.
