This is the restaurant's picture of the shrimp and scallops combo and must say it looked even better in person!

If you are planning to dine at Webber's, definitely check on the current road closure on Summit Street if you are coming from the north. The road is totally closed and the detour may take you 15-20 minutes out of your way if you're taken by surprise. Just know your detour options in advance and you'll be fine. That said, it's worth the effort to make it to Webber's! The location is in Erie, MI technically, but it feels like Point Place. It's located on Lake Erie or the river flowing into Lake Erie and is a very casually charming location. Be sure to have a reservation unless you don't mind dining in the bar area. We were there to celebrate a birthday and were seated inside (in A/C on a hot humid evening) and had a pleasant table with a view of the waterfront. The atmosphere is very comfortable, though I wish they had booths. Nevertheless, we had a nice dining experience. Our server was friendly and efficient. She immediately got us started with drinks and answered questions about specials and the menu. My friend had tried and true fish and chips and took home leftovers. I had the grilled shrimp and scallops combo with a baked potato and green beans. Everything was excellent. Definitely recommend!!

Dinner on the patio at Webber's with a friend. I was adventurous and tried frog legs for the first time. It's true, they taste much like chicken just more juicy. The broiled Walleye and sweet potato fries were also excellent! I forgot to take a "before" photo, so that's a mid-meal photo. Trust me, the only thing left on my plate was lemon rinds and frog leg bones!

As a kid, my grandmother would talk of growing up in Point Place and visiting Webber's fondly. As a young adult, I always associated Webber's with old people and avoided it like the plague. As their neighboring River Cafe closed, we realized we needed a new Ottawa river fix and revisited Webber's as actual adults. We're glad we did. Sitting outside at the bar, the (fried) food was good, the atmosphere was welcoming and the bartender was fantastic. Take note, while I was looked upon as crazy for the request, they WILL add cajun seasoning to any items on the menu. Also, the clam strips are the biggest we've ever experienced in the best way possible. We will be back for more. Net time we'll grab a table as the bar crowd can be a little suspect. (no offense or judgement made with that statement)

$16 bucks English Fish & Chips. What a joke.

Excellent service at this popular restaurant. Perch sandwich was excellent. Enjoyed dining along the waterfront location.

You don't. And you're right, they never answer the phone. I would suggest going to the restaurant next-door. Webbers has twice done a terrible job for me and I'll never go back.

The current tenants are serving up a mixed bag of southern fare, burgers and a bit of soul food along the way. Sadly today, the one thing they were out of was the one thing I came in for... the gumbo. Long story short, I will be back because I've heard it's really good. As for the burgers? Super fresh with a home cooking vibe. The fries? Cooked to order with skins on and really great! I added cheese and recommend you do as well. To note: their menu is super limited in addition to their "daily" specials, but it looks like their "daily" specials might be available all the time. Also note: beverage offerings are super limited. No tea or coffee. Just canned soda and bottled water. Next visit, I'm going to hopefully try that gumbo... and maybe some fried fish. Hoping this small joint succeeds, as it adds a missing element to downtown Toledo. Super friendly staff and great prices. This is not fancy food, it's just good food.

I didn't request chicken or anything on it as I didn't want to spend the extra money (or have the company pay extra, more precisely). Our orders were called in and I didn't think anything further of it. When the order arrived, the staff handed out containers of food. I waited and waited and waited. At the end, there was an extra grilled chicken salad (what I would have ordered if I really got what I wanted) - and they handed it to me. YAY! The salad was much like a cobb - with some mixed greens in addition to iceberg lettuce. There was some cheddar, cukes, egg, cut up chicken breast and more. It came with dressing, but I do eat my salads dry. There was enough stuff on it that I really didn't miss having a dressing (I do like oil and vinegar - but again, wouldn't get that on an order being delivered in). Was the salad the best ever? No. But considering I had packed fruit and assume they would bring in something I don't eat, I was quite happy and enjoyed my lunch. I would definitely order this again so I return and be given the same menu options.

We were escorted to our table by our lovely host, and when we arrived at our table in the back of the restaurant, there was a cute "happy birthday" table card waiting for us. This was incredibly thoughtful and a nice touch for our celebration dinner. Also, I love how this restaurant is decorated - the art work, the furniture, and plants - all come together to create a welcoming, cozy, warm atmosphere for any dining experience. I also love how the menu continuously rotates and highlights fresh produce from local suppliers. We both ordered a different dish and shared, plus we had some leftovers, so the portions are very generous. We also tried some of the oysters with vinaigrette they were fresh and delicious. To conclude our dinner, we were gifted with a DELIGHTFUL banana pudding with a scoop of ice cream and a candle to make a wish (though our wish for a wonderful meal and dining experience was throughly satisfied already ) Thanks again for a great time bellflower!

OMG these sautéed garden veggies were the best! The other main was a Japanese curry dish. Here is why the five starting dropped to a four. It was just ok. We would not order again. For dessert we had the bread pudding- another star for the night! To the owner, terrific staff. Everyone we engaged in, were positive and knowledgeable. They are a great team! I can be very critical of restaurants. I have over 20 years food service experience. From the UK to the USA. I will say that every dish that was prepared for us was absolutely phenomenal! The timing of the service of the dinner was very good. No long waits, and the food was served hot, the proper temperatures. We had steamed mussels with the home made bread. The pairing was excellent. My wife has never eaten alligator and she surprised me by suggesting that she would like to try it. The taste was very fresh, lightly battered and spiced to perfection. My wife does not like spicy food, but she enjoyed it. We next tried the soups. She had the Mariners chowder and I had the gumbo. I have lived in Southern Mississippi, and I will say that the gumbo is by far one of the best that I have ever had. The Mariners chowder was also very good, but the gumbo was exceptional. For our entree my wife had the Lobster roll and 1 had the Jambalaya. The Lobster roll came on a grilled roll and the lobster stuffing was very fresh tasting. The Jambalaya was spicy the way it should be. The serving size was abundant. For dessert we had key lime pie and cheese cake with a strawberry. Both were very very good. The wait staff were very friendly and answered any questions that we had about the menu. I highly recommend Mac's for any of those special occasions or to just go out and have a good meal with you family.

Can you imagine a steakhouse telling customers they have no steak? Anyway, the 2nd problem was the bartender went to the kitchen to see if there was any alligator. She kept yakking on and on, FINALLY, I asked about the alligator, none to be found. I actually had to interrupt her conservation with the other customer or she would have talked forever and ever! All I wanted to do was order some food. After that, everything was fine. I still tipped (I probably shouldn't have though) and that was the end of it. Nice lady, attractive and pleasant. It's in the town center at Levis commons which is a nicer outdoor mall located in Toledo. It's buried in the back of the complex near a morgan stanley place and a hotel. Not hard to find if you have an idea of where you're going. Walking in, you have to walk up a flight of stairs and I'm not sure of they have an elevator or not. The main area where you hang out in is a bar and an arcade. It has a bar area with a decent amount of seating. When the doors open, you can walk into the stage area which is actually pretty nice. There is a 2 item minimum to purchase when here. The foods decently priced, but the alcohol is not. I'm not so much of a drinker so that was fine. They also add an automatic 18% gratuity to each bill, fyi. You can pay cash or card, so that's a bonus. I did have two issues when I was here, and the staff handled it wonderfully. The first was they sat me at a table where it was hard for me to see the stage, and I can't say I was a fan. After debating it for a while, I asked the hostess if I could be re-seated at a different location since I wasn't thrilled about it. They were kind enough to put me at a different table which really made a difference. The second issue was after I ordered my required food, the Sprite I ordered tasted funny. I spoke to the waitress and informed her of this and she brought out a new Sprite from a different machine. This one was much better so that helped out as well. Speaking of food, I went with the artichoke and spinach dip with chips, which was actually pretty good. Larger serving size and not half bad. They had what seemed like plenty of servers here, so people were getting their food and drinks in a timely fashion. The show ran on time, and they also have a security guard here in case anyone gets rowdy. Who wants a rowdy heckler? Not me! I really enjoyed my time here and would return in the future for other events.
