I understand paying before we are served, but we as customers deserve to tip as WE see fit, not as they see fit. I still tipped $5 just in case of the off chance that it was a mistake, or that it went to someone other than my server. I've loved this place over the years but there are better places that deserve gratuity, and that would allow me to make that decision on my own.

She gave me back $4.06. I informed Mr. Ponytail guy of the error and he brought me another $5.00 bill. Again, math is hard. He also said he never checked the amount of money I gave him to cover my check, so he didn't know what was going on. Way to be a steward of your customer, Mr. Ponytail guy... After being made to feel like totally inadequate plebes that should have supped at the coney island next door, I really doubt we'll ever go back. I do ask Georgio to send Mr. Ponytail guy to congeniality school so he can learn the disappointments of life and how some things just don't go your way.
