Update Following up you are the last shop that changed my oil so no I did not take it to jiffy lube as you suspect, your technicians failed to notify me that they put a cheap repair drain plug in my car and over torqued it like crazy so it was a very difficult process when I had to bring it in to my mechanic and get it replaced, I Literally had no clue you guys did that until I brought it in for another oil change then I had to buy a whole new oil pan. you guys completely stripped my old oil pan threads and took out the oem drain plug, Never told me anything. Whilst the service was quick, I wish they hadn't acted as though my concerns were ridiculous. I also was surprised that they expected me to come that same day to pick it back up. They called at 2-something to let me know it was ready and they close at 5, and when I asked if I should pick up it up the following morning he said he had cars coming and would rather I come that day. When I asked if the following day before 9 would work they said ok, but I was able to finagle it to come the same day after all. Just thought it was weird that they assumed someone would be able to pick up the same day.

I called the shop early Sunday morning and along with being greeted in a very pleasant manner, I was told I could bring the car in right away. The mechanic on duty asked what the problem was and really listened to what I had to say. He asked follow up questions, to better understand what I had experienced with the car and then went to work to make a diagnosis regarding the problem. He not only hooked it up to a diagnostic system but drove the car as well. He communicated what he was thinking each step of the way and never once made me feel inept or that my understanding of the car's challenge was not important. I've had my share of experiences where my input was discounted, ignored, or even belittled--especially when it comes to technical matters. However, that was absolutely not the case with this mechanic. He was respectful, attentive, and genuinely valued my opinion. He took the time to listen and explain things clearly, which made the experience not only smooth but empowering. It was a refreshing change. From the manager to the technicians, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in about an hour, all at a very reasonable price. In addition, a noise I had been hearing from underneath the car is now gone--they likely addressed that as well (possibly by tightening a loose component such as the muffler).
