I would recommend BlueSky Tire and Auto Service. They did an overall good job replacing my flat tire. Nothing fancy just a flat tire. They have good communication system and you can see their report with photos including the big nail on the side of my tire. They also run full vehicle check. This is my first review here on Yelp, but their excellent service really prompted me to post a positive review here. They were able to accommodate me even though I made the last minute change to the appointment. When I went there, they were really courteous and I felt welcomed. When they were done with wheel alignment, they went over it in great detail and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Not only that but they also have a great feature where they text you a link of multipoint inspection and attach relevant pics of your car parts and accessories (i.e oil leak, broken wiper, etc), so you have a proof and an idea of what they are talking about. You can also refer back to that link whenever you want in the future. They didn't try to oversell anything to me either. Overall, a great experience and amazing service. Very satisfied! read more

When I walked into this place, the salesman (dressed like a used car salesman with his Bling) took his sweet time in greeting me. When he finally did greeted me, I told him about my problem with the tire. He said that they do repair tires and said it would cost $25 + tax. After he got my info, one of the mechanic took my car into the garage. After about 35 minutes, they brought my car to the front. I went to the salesman to pay my bill. To my surprise the bill was for $30 + tax and not $25+ tax like he said in the begining. I was already lake for work and I did not feel like "fighting" over $5 so i just paid my bill. I would not trust this Salesman, I swear this guys reminds me of a dishonest used car salesman. If they are willing to cheat someone out of $5.00 I could just imagine what they would do with a huge repair. read more

The team here is too notch. Last summer they took my car for a tire that picked up a mail same day and repaired it at a fair price. Since then I've gone back for oil changes, and routine maintenance. Today, we put on a nee set of tires. When I found the tires for less online, they price matched without an issue. John's Place is the best for Auto Care. I found this business because I was looking for a place to put nitrogen in my tires. I called to make an appointment and John stayed open a little later than usual and didn't charge me. He also fixed my windshield wiper for no cost. This made me come back from my next oil change. When I came back, for an oil change and new tires I had another great experience. John was super up front up how much things cost and he did the best to save me money. He explained things super well that would usually go right over my head. I told him would be in a rush when picking up my car and he walked out to meet me with my keys and receipt. This place has a nice waiting room and friendly people. While I enjoyed their good customer service, I am not sure about their price and other thing. * $50 per filter change (we end up bought filters somewhere else for $10+ and changed it ourselves); * $225 for battery change (we went somewhere else cost us around $150 with free installation, since it's pretty straight forward and easy) * they have some $29 disposal fee that was not communicate with me before the service (first time I use this place). I'm not used to such fee for years that I've used other auto service shop. * shortly after my service (not quite a month yet), the winter storm and heavy snow came and I had to use my windshield wiper, which I don't use often. I realize the fluid is out. My guess is that they might have forgotten to top the fluid during service. Keep searching for different place now. read more

Ok people. I don't make too many reviews but this one is absolutely necessary. Changing spark plugs in my my 2014 VW Touareg I came across oil inside my 3rd cylinder ! I called and spoke to TIM. Tim calmed me down, cuz if ya know anything about cars. Oil in the spark plug cylinder ain't good. Tim told me to call VW to see if it was still under warranty. Today I got the call from VW and YES still under warranty and being repaired for FREE!!! Tim could've just told me to come in and charge me MAGA BUCKS but, he looked out for ME. Exceptional service. I live in Wisconsin and travel to Chicago often. This week I had a bad encounter with a pothole and went to John's Place (aka Personalized) on the recommendation of a friend. The rim was bent and the tire was bad, so I was driving on a donut with no way to get home at the end of the week. Based on their recommendation I ordered a new tire/rim from Tire Rack and had it delivered to them. The next day they installed it, checked my alignment (which was good) and sent me on my way at no charge! I thought this kind of service was a thing of the past, but they have earned a loyal customer and my highest recommendation. I was a poster child customer that a shady operation could have taken advantage of (out of state, stranded), but the service they provided speaks highly of their ethics. read more

I needed to get a synthetic oil change and tire rotation on a Saturday, but found that many places were fully booked or closed early. I was excited to find a great deal on Groupon for this at Personalized Auto Care but didn't want to sign-up for it until I confirmed that they could fit me in that day. I called... no answer. To my great surprise, Javier called me back 5 minutes later and gave me a 1pm appointment! When I showed up, they confirmed my info and took my car in back immediately, being told that they'd be done in about an hour. I settled into their spacious, comfy waiting room and watched some cable TV. Bingo!... an hour later I received a text from their app showing photos of a couple other things that could use some attention. Javier came over to describe these things in more detail. I declined having them addressed this time around as nothing was that urgent. No hard sell. That means a lot to me because so many places do the hard sell which makes me uncomfortable. Javier even suggested an inexpensive way to remove a foul odor the car had recently incurred. I paid exactly the original amount I expected to, no added fees or extra taxes. They even gave me a coupon for my next visit. WOW! consider me HAPPY with Personalized Auto Care. I am most definitely coming back! read more

What an amazing place with honest, nice, and caring employees. I have gone in there for air in my tires several times and they always take such great care of me. This time, I needed a new tire and they were beyond accommodating. I was afraid to drive on my tire until me new one came in the next day and they gave me a loaner so I would feel safe. Additionally, they got my new one in very quickly and found me the best possible deal they could. It is often hard to find a trust worthy auto shop, and I while I will be working further starting this summer I will really try go back here whenever I need service.
