This classic neighborhood bakery has been around since the 1930s, and you can tell they take pride in everything they make. Open six days a week, the team always greets you with a warm smile. They've got just about everything -- from fresh bread and pastries to cakes, donuts, and their amazing apple strudels. Their coffee cakes are packed with flavor, and the donuts are made fresh daily. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods -- it's pure comfort. If you've got a sweet tooth or just want something homemade and heartwarming, this spot is an absolute must-try!

My family has been coming here for decades! Absolutely love their atomic bomb cake and chocolate brownies! Recently just bought a cake from here for my uncle in a nursing home and he enjoyed every second of his favorite cake. Thank you for making his special day even more memorable. Always super busy so best to go early or order ahead!

Weber's Bakery has been a favorite of mine since I was young. Even now, living in Milwaukee, WI, my family and I still make the trip to pick up our favorite, nostalgic cake. Chocolate & vanilla, strawberry & banana filling, topped with colorful whipped cream. These cakes bring me so much joy and fill my heart with so many wonderful memories. I am so grateful for all the years Weber's has been in my life.

Weber's Bakery is one of those rare places that has truly earned its legendary status. For years, I've driven by, picked up their pastries through friends and family, and savored every bite but I had never actually stepped inside. That changed recently, and let me tell you: nothing prepares you for the beautiful chaos that awaits within. From the moment you walk in, the aroma wraps around you like a warm hug, freshly baked dough, sweet vanilla glaze, powdered sugar, buttery croissants, and a hint of cinnamon all swirling together. The line was long (as expected), and yes, it felt like it moved at the pace of molasses. But there's something about standing in that line, watching the trays come out, seeing the cases constantly restocked, and hearing the excited chatter around you, it builds anticipation in the best way possible. And once it's your turn, pure bliss. I couldn't choose just one item, so I didn't. I walked out with a box full of pastries, from classic donuts, apple fritters, and melt-in-your-mouth butter cookies to delicate custard-filled éclairs and almond danishes. Each one had its own personality: flaky, rich, creamy, chewy, or decadently sweet. There's real craftsmanship in every bite, nothing feels mass-produced or rushed. It's like tasting tradition, love, and nostalgia all at once. If you've never been inside Weber's, do yourself a favor and go. Bring lots cash, bring patience, and bring a big box, because you'll want one of everything. This isn't just a bakery; it's a Chicago institution, and every bite is a reminder of why.

This place is the best with their baked goods! Anytime i am in chicago i will stop by weber. the service is always friendly and fast just make sure you pull a ticket! the ambiance is of a bakery that smells delicious like willy wonka. There was a block club Chicago article about a society of bakers that originally put this place on my radar sounded like something from a Wes Anderson movie. Came in during afternoon. Ordered 3 things. A lemon bar, brownie, pecan dessert of some kind. Lemon bar was fluffy, creamy. ALL THE Things! Just the right amount of sweet. Pecan bar was corner piece and had more crust for my liking. The brownie was the bees knees. Sweet & chocolatey! I gotta go back one day earlier and get more breakfast themed pastries.

Some baked goods are great while others can be better. They are more expensive than the surrounding bakeries then again, they have a larger overhead. Customer service can be better, see picture of how my cookies were placed on top of each other.

Omg I LOVE this bakery, from the cakes to everything else. It is well worth the trip, service is outstanding and I haven't had anything from here I haven't liked.

Came in for a birthday cake luckily they have pre-made ones.

Came on a busy holiday week (Thanksgiving) and orders are no longer being taken. Luckily I came in just for a birthday cake. As you walk in make sure to get a number bc they work fast as their service is quick and efficient. Anaí helped me out and she was so polite and helpful and had a good positive attitudes. Made me feel very welcomed! The place is small but with a great big parking lot nice and clean inside. Happy Holidays everyone!

You can neeeever go wrong with Weber's donuts. They are always so fresh and fluffy. I had actually ended up eating two of this assortment (the glazed-like donut and the white long john).

The environment is super busy and fast-paced, but everyone is so friendly, which made it feel welcoming despite the hustle. Everyone walking out looked so happy with their purchases. It's definitely the kind of place you'd want to bring something from to any get-together. The strawberry cake was absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and so fresh. Every visit is a delight, and I can't wait to come back for more!

Weber's is hands down the best place to go for delicious bakery, and their cakes for special occasions are always superb! They recently made a cake for our 25th anniversary party - 1/2 sheet cake with chocolate and vanilla layers, tons of fresh strawberry filling, and whipped cream. Everyone raved about how good it was! And so pretty, too!

I was looking for a bakery that was reasonably priced to make a golf-themed cake for my husband's birthday. Having had Weber's at another party, I reached out and appreciated how helpful the team was. I sent a couple of options, and they patiently answered my questions and provided guidance on the cake. Their cakes are large, well designed, and delicious. Highly recommend a yellow cake with fresh strawberries! And like other Yelpers mentioned, the in store experience is a bit rough, but they are very efficient in working through the long queue of people coming for delicious pastries!

I've been a customer of almost 10 years and have been obsessed since they first opened their doors at a different location. I literally live an hour away without traffic and even longer with traffic, but I make sure to stop by or send someone else to get it for me at least once a month or more. I love the amazing cakes that are so delicious and unique but on top of that, it is Asian owned, LGBTQ supporting, etc. A lot has changed since their little storefront with no seating. The bakery is now a full on cafe and I'm so happy to see how much they've grown and how successful they are. And while it is glorious, I will say I miss the sweet neighborhood charm and great customer service it used to have. Getting in touch with the bakery through phone or text can be tough and to be honest, sometimes one of the people working there is kind of...very mean. It had me questioning if I should keep coming back. I just love this bakery so much though and being raised by parents that had a small food business, I can't help but want to support. I had a particularly difficult last minute request for the bakery a few weeks ago and I was reminded why this place is so great. It had been YEARS since I made this specific request, which was an order for a slice of cake for every flavor and a cupcake for every flavor. This is a BIG and time consuming request, especially if it's last minute. Unfortunately I come to the city whenever the traffic isn't atrocious, so it's always last minute. Dom absolutely pulled through though. Even though there were other employees there (I saw two others but one disappeared and then another male was kind of walking around the cafe and such), Dom took this giant request and fulfilled it himself. The other gentleman (not the mean person previously mentioned) was actually who I made the request to, but he told Dom to do it. I was kind of confused why they didn't do it together but idk, maybe the other guy isn't allowed to handle food? Who knows. Regardless, this request obviously took a long time and the line was getting longer; people were getting a little restless but Dom stayed calm but was swift. I swear he was moving faster than most people in the industry could with a cake knife like that. He was not impatient or rude to me at all. He was just there to do his job as fast and well as possible. It's so rare to see that type of work ethic. He is also so obviously proud of the bakery and the food they serve which makes you feel good about being a patron there. So although I continue to have an unpleasant experience with one particular employee there, Dom keeps my love for this bakery alive. He reminds me of what this bakery was like when they first opened their doors. I hope Dom is cherished there and I bet he is considering his work ethic. I will continue to support this bakery and I recommend everyone else to support as well. It may not be that small little shop anymore but Dom is a reminder of the heart of the place.

Seating is pretty limited, but it looked like most folks were picking up pastries to go, but either way you order at the front one party at a time. Truffle Croissant (5/5): A must get, super intense black truffle against a perfectly flaky and chewy buttery croissant. The large bits of pearl sugar add pops of sweetness that I loved. Mango Tart (4.75/5): Mango really shines through with melt in your mouth texture and fruity sweetness. Coconut pasty cream adds almost a nutty flavor and luscious mouthfeel to contrast against the lightly crunchy cookie crust. Prosciutto Croissant (4.5/5): Pastry again impeccable with sharp saltiness from the prosciutto and cheese. Still absolutely delicious, but hard to recommend with how good the other items were. Longanisa Breakfast Sandwich (5/5): Another life changing bite. Hash brown add on is unbelievably crunchy against the egg bite that is pillowy soft and fluffy roll. Longanisa is salty and sweet, just the best way to start your morning. Lumpia (3.75/5): Comes out piping hot and the meat still stays juicy and bouncy. Good, not crazy. Filipino Breakfast with Longanisa and Tocino (4/5): Garlic rice is fluffy, but heavy on the garlic exactly like I love it. Sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked and the two meats were actually the weakest components, a bit chewier than expected. Chicken Adobo (4.25/5): Chicken has almost a nice char on the outside and doused in a tangy sauce with crispy garlic bits. Tender and juicy, personally preferred this over the longanisa and tocino. Sweet Corn Hojicha (2/5): Only real whiff that we tried. While you could really taste the corn, unfortunately ended up being wayyyy too sweet and I couldn't have more than a sip or two.

(Also, keep in mind that mornings are walk-in only, you can't order the breakfast sandwich online like you can with the pastries, and reservations are strictly for their dinner service.) Which makes sense given the sheer volume of people they serve, so you'll have to try and snag one of the few seats along the edges. Once we finally ordered, the service was incredibly fast. The sandwich came out in less than 5 minutes! It was definitely a good, tasty sandwich, but I wouldn't say it was amazing. Ultimately, while I enjoyed the food and the beautiful space inside, I probably wouldn't wait 45 minutes in the blazing sun to get it again.

I bought 3 and my friend got 2. Calamansi cream + pistachio paste danish was my favorite. The Calamansi cream was the perfect texture and density with a fragrant citrus note. Flaky dough, soft pistachio center and creamy top with a sharp citrus cut. Peach + raspberry Melba danish. The peaches were soft. I'm not familiar with a Melba dessert but the center of this was almond paste which is not my favorite but if you like almond and tart danish it would hit the spot. Raspberry espresso cream cheese cinnamon roll was a fun fruity twist to a cinnamon roll. Couldn't really tell there was espresso though. Blueberry lime cheesecake danish. I also liked this one because of the lime. It really cuts through the heaviness. The fruits on top were also fresh. They also have one day old blind boxes. I grabbed a 6 piece day old box to go and it was actually 6 different pasteries, half sweet and half savory! It only repeated 1 of the pasteries I had originally tried so I'm excited to try more, especially the savory ones. It's an amazing deal if you just want to try a variety of flavors. Tried the Hot dog danish - really good! Upscale pigs in a blanket vibes. The tiny fried are seasoned perfectly and add a fun crunch. The splashes of Dijon cut through and it doesn't feel oily at all.

I went on a weekday and there was still a good selection of pastries left around 11am. The staff was super nice and helpful as I struggled to make a decision. They shared that the strawberry milk croissant was their bestseller, so I opted for that. It was filled with fresh strawberry mascarpone and fresh strawberry puree. Despite the croissant's decadent appearance, it was not at all too sweet. I'm not typically the biggest croissant fan (I know, I know, no one is perfect) but this pastry blew me away. The filling was super generous without overpowering the delicate dough, which was baked to crispy perfection.
