We ordered the chicken fingers, tater tots, & lunch special - 1/4 lb cheeseburger, 1/2 fries & root beer AND a small onion rings. Got home, and no onion rings But they got kinda busy and it was an honest mistake. Not a big deal. Everything else was great. Cheeseburger was delicious. Nothing like an old fashioned Root Beer in a frosted mug! My co-workers decided to grab a burger and sit outside. It was quite windy but we managed without having anything fly away. The burgers were what you might expect - delicious! They were four in our group so each of us ordered a different side. I chose the Fries, to be honest I wasn't a big fan. They were just ok! The Onion Rings a different story, if you like onion rings I would recommend trying these! Tater Tots meh - take em or leave em, Popcorn Chicken was a worthy choice. Always see a crowd and decided to finally stop for a dinner treat! Walked in on a Tuesday night to order and take home to enjoy. We met a kind lady, Donna who highly recommended Webers and their yummy-delicious Root Beer. And we were very happy. I ordered a double with cheese, grilled onions & pickles and Hubby ordered a single chili burger with cheese, mustard & pickles. The mustard & pickles overpowered the burger taste but the plain double was delicious! We also got an order of tots! Can't go wrong with tots!!! And the Root Beer was like no other! Absolutely tasty and Rooty! We brought home a container of Root Beer to enjoy. I bet it is great with some vanilla ice cream! The small establishment is quaint and efficient. Weber's is a Tulsa icon. You can't miss this old-fashioned burger stand when passing by Peoria in Brookside. It's said to be the birthplace of the original hamburger. As the story goes, the family of Oscar Weber Bilby claims the first-known hamburger on a bun was served in 1891 and later Governor Frank Keating proclaimed the first true hamburger on a bun was created and consumed in Tulsa, calling it "The Real Birthplace of the Hamburger". Their burgers, while simple, are fresh and tasty. They are a bit on the smaller side, about what you'd expect from similar establishments. The options of sides are nice. They have french fries, tater tots, and onion rings. Personally, I'm partial to the homemade onion rings. These are breaded, and while I usually prefer beer battered, they still hit the spot whenever I'm craving onion rings. The burgers come with a choice of mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions and pickles. Lettuce and tomatoes can be added for an extra charge. I don't mind the upcharge but my one gripe is they didn't mention it upfront when I ordered a large amount of burgers and just charged extra without asking. Of course, one thing you won't want to pass up on when visiting Weber's is the root beer. The root beer floats are a perfect cold and creamy treat on a warm day. It's what keeps me coming back again and again. The root beer is a homemade family recipe that is refreshing with a nice bite to it. They also sell root beer bottled individually or in a six-pack, my go-to whenever I'm in need of gifts for out of town guests. It's a wonderful way to share a taste of Tulsa with friends and family from outside of the area. Finally visited Weber's Root Beer and am SO HAPPY I did. Seriously the spiciest brew I've ever tried -- it's delicious. I went on a Friday right around noon and had no problems walking right up to the indoor window to order. The food took a bit of time, but they post that this is expected because everything is put together grilled and fried fresh while you wait. The intimate indoor seating took me back in time which is where I chose to enjoy my meal. I was satisfied with a small cheeseburger, tots, and root beer float for my first visit. Next time, I'll get onion rings (I hear they're great!) and a bigger root beer (because, duh). If you haven't been, go. It's a historic institution that I hope sticks around for another 80+ years. read more

Retiring owner Jen is a sweetheart..39 years and retiring next week (at our time of visit). But there were too many issues here to ignore. When she asked, I just could not bring myself to telling her the truth. First, food is low quality and overpriced for what you get. Next, dining room is disgusting -- tiny and in bad need of a good deep cleaning. As for the food, root beer was very good in that frosty mug..But sadly that was the only winner. Onion rings needed seasoning, and definitely more than just ketchup to dip in. On my basic 1/2 lb double cheeseburger ($11), flavor was just not there. Beef cheap and tasted gamey, patties not seared enough. Veggies were wet and not fresh. Overall it was a greasy, soggy mess, and the buns fell right apart. It was disappointing, especially compared to the better greasy spoon food we had just across the street. It's just not the quality of food that I stop for. Cheeseburgers onion pickle and sauce how I like it, nice grilled burger and large servings on the fries, you can share. They taste more like oven fries not crispy but softer. Root beer was fantastic of course, too cold for the float for me but next time. Parking lot is always tight squeeze and not much room to dine in, counter with maybe 3 seats. It's very small with only seating for less than 10 inside. There is seating outside, however. The girl at the window took a while to appear so I could order. My order was perfect. I love a cheeseburger with all the fixings, except ketchup. The onion rings were exceptional. Big and fried to a perfect crunch. The topper was the root beer in a frosted mug. Went on my B-day mainly for the root beer, we decided to get a small fry. It took 10 minutes to get them, they were completely soggy with grease and not crisp, not salted AT ALL! My single burger was good. The meat was a bit crispy on the edges and flavorful meat. The side orders are generous. We had more than needed tots, fries and onion rings. The burgers here are also super yummy, and if you order right, quite gargantuan! I left feeling a bit over stuffed the last time I visited! Mind you this is a small local joint and is often times busy, this means waiting for your food. So we decided to try the root beer from here and I'm so glad we did. It tasted so good n fresh outa a cold mug. The problem is there's no place to sit at except outside.
