I had been there once before back in 2016, though I do not remember if it was this location or another one, and I do not remember what I ordered then. In any case, it was nice to go back and try it again. This time, I ordered the TX Hot Chik'n. The sandwich was crispy and flavorful, with a good mix of BBQ and buffalo sauce. The pickles, lettuce, mayo, and sesame bun all worked well together, and it was filling without feeling too heavy. My friend ordered the Jamaican Jerk San'ich and enjoyed it. It had bold seasoning and a good savory flavor, so it was a solid choice if you want something with a little more spice and personality. The "Jerk" spelled with mayo on the bun and the backwards "R" was a cute touch. Overall, Spiral Diner had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and it is a good lunch spot in Fort Worth whether you are vegan or just interested in trying plant-based comfort food. I was happy to have had the chance to go back and hopefully will be able to return more frequently whenever I am in town.

The architecture was so captivating. It was a unique designed building. I checked out the reviews on here and they were good! So, I decided to drop in and... what a dream it was! DD&S was sort of camouflaged with other buildings and I almost walked into the wrong shop because, the buildings are so close together. I turned the corner and there it was, a tiny, tiny Donut shop with Silver Inflated Balloons that said, Donuts. Inside, Emily helped me out by explaining that the Donuts are made with yeast. I chose the original Glaze Donut and it was surprisingly good! It was soft and semi sweet. It was a large in size and kept me fulfilled and oh, so happy! Lol. Who would of thought? A Vegan Donut was so good! It's worth paying 3.00 plus tax. I was able to sample their much talked about Vegan Ice Cream. The Cookie Monster was by far my favorite. It was sweet, crunchy and colorful. They have other flavors like, Pistachio Blue Berry, Vanilla and Chocolate. The sample portion is very generous too. The Ice Cream was so flavorful and left a good taste in my mouth. It made me want more. I didn't feel guilty about it either since, it's Vegan. It was just like a dream. As you can see, I have crossed over to Vegan Donuts. I will gladly return soon and look forward to trying more items on the Menu. Don't do a hard pass on them. Check them out. They are located in the Medical Arts District.

You just don't get this quality and innovation in food especially for plant based menu. What an absolute pleasure. We enjoyed the 8 course tasting menu and will look forward to returning for the regular menu soon. Every bite was incredible and so gorgeous. I do have to encourage every reader to try the consommé. Seriously the best, most delicious ever. Service was impeccable and we felt so welcome. I greatly appreciate the modern vibe. Also the decor and ambiance are perfect. Plush blue velvet and 60's (I believe) aesthetic. Very vintage and so well done. Even if you only come by for one the amazing cocktails the bar and patio are a treat. Overall 10/10 one of our top dining experiences in DFW and best plant based meal ever. Highly recommend!!

He took his time to articulately explain the restaurants concept and each course. He was also incredibly friendly and attentive! Food: We did the 8-course seasonal tasting menu. The courses included a red miso consommé, apple braised cabbage, saffron arancini, endive salad, potato vegan chicken entree, apple and banana granita palate cleanser, cheese course, and apple mille-feuille dessert. My highlights were the arancini and mille-feuille! We left perfectly full and very satisfied! TL;DR: Exceptional service, incredible tasting menu, and a memorable dining experience!

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, sunshine-filled space that smelled absolutely divine--fresh, homemade waffle cones baking and filling the room with happiness. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and even offered samples (yes please!), which made choosing a flavor both fun and deliciously difficult. After a few tastes, I landed on Sweet Cream and Cookie Crush--and wow. The sweet cream was classic and comforting, instantly reminding me of my grandmother's homemade ice cream. The cookie crush brought bold flavor: rich, house-made dark chocolate cookies folded into salty vanilla ice cream. The perfect balance of sweet, salty, and indulgent. Pros: Warm and happy aesthetic, heavenly cone smells, and super friendly staff. Cons: The inside is a bit small with limited seating--but during warmer days, the outdoor patio offers plenty of space to enjoy your scoop. I will absolutely be returning to Melt. It's cozy, nostalgic, and full of flavor--definitely worth the stop, no matter the weather.

There is nothing more Southern than a great bowl of grits. If you Google "What are grits?" the…read moreanswer is simple: grits are a traditional Southern dish made from ground corn, cooked in water or milk until they become thick, warm, and porridge-like. Today was Sunday, and I couldn't imagine anything better than a steaming bowl of grits with melted butter, served alongside a traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon, and a biscuit. Unfortunately, my visit to Paris Coffee Shop delivered the opposite. Something seemed off today at one of my usually favorite local breakfast spots. We smiled. We chatted. But a simple request for lemon with water seemed to be too much for our initial server, who passed us off to someone else. By the time we left, three different servers had been at our table. Still, I sat there holding onto the hope of warm grits and a lovely breakfast. What arrived instead was a bowl of watery liquid with tiny remnants that may have once dreamed of becoming grits, but never quite achieved it. The photo says it all: what I received was more like a memory of grits, floating in hot water. Paris Coffee Shop has usually been one of my favorite local breakfast spots, so I hope this was just an off morning. But today, I left disappointed, still hungry for the breakfast I had imagined, and tragically gritless.

I left this meal feeling both impressed and confused, which is probably the most honest review I…read morecan give. Let's start with the star of the show: the fried soft-shell crab bao. Good grief, this thing was phenomenal. It may have been the single best item we ordered. The crab was cooked perfectly with a satisfying crunch, the bao was pillowy soft, and they showed admirable restraint with the sauce. Too many places drown everything in mayo and call it creativity. Not here. Every bite was balanced and absolutely delicious. Then there was the pork belly burger, which looked like it was about to become my new favorite burger in Fort Worth. Unfortunately, it never quite got there. The pork belly hadn't rendered enough, making it chewy and difficult to bite through. The beef patty also seemed oddly resistant to being bitten. I shouldn't need the jaw strength of an alligator to eat a burger. My wife ordered the black garlic ramen. She loved the broth and thought the egg was excellent, but the noodles were surprisingly firm and ended up mostly untouched. The kid's meal was probably the easiest win of the night. My son happily devoured the chicken tenders and was thrilled to discover that dessert was included. The Cookie Monster ice cream may have generated more excitement than anything else on the table. Overall, this place feels like a restaurant with some genuinely brilliant ideas and a few execution issues. When they're on, they're REALLY on. That soft-shell crab bao alone is worth the trip. I'd happily come back, but next time I might just order three baos and call it dinner.
