My friend and I went to have a late Sunday lunch around 2pm and I was craving Thai food. Upon reviewing what Thai food was around locally my friend suggested this place so we went to check them out, especially since they had a wide variety of food including hotpot. We were greeted, seated and orders taken quickly. We had the chicken wings for our app, my friend ordered the Thai chicken noodle soup, which she enjoyed but said it was lacking chicken and I had the pineapple fried rice. The food was good overall. The pineapple fried rice I ordered had a few ingredients I was not used to like raisins and dried pork so I requested those be omitted. It was a little confusing to find as the restaurant name is kind of hidden and many of the windows are covered or painted black. There was plenty of street parking which is always a plus. The decor was very nice and inviting and the have two sides with plenty of seating.

Wee Thai Food has been a great foodie addition in the Lowell area. They are a Thai casual eatery. However, not limited to only Thai eats, they expand their menu to things like tonkatsu ramen. In addition, there are rice dishes, stir fry, curry, and more. They have the space for dine-in and pickup options. And looks like it's street parking around this area. Spicy Dumplings- Steamed pork and veggie dumplings in chili oil. Topped with fried garlic, cilantro, and green onions. Any time we think about ordering from here, this is always a must for us. Crab Rangoon (5)- Deep-fried wonton filled with cream cheese and imitation crabmeat. Once in a while, I crave these and they tend to hit the spot. Creamy and crunchy. Beef Loc Lac Plate- Stir-fried diced beef served with salt and pepper sauce and topped with a sunny side egg. Savory sauce with chewy beef and fresh onions. My fav from them. Khao Soi- Wonton noodles in yellow curry with chicken, pickled mustard, red onion, dried chilies, scallion, and cilantro. Flavorful and delish. Overall Service: I've only ordered them through Ubereats. Everything was packaged neatly and sealed tightly. They made holes in the containers to prevent condensation and sogginess for fried food. It's nice to see that they care about the condition of the food when it's traveling to their customers.

Wanted yellow curry. My normal spot was not open so I saw this place and got the Tom yum creamy. This wasn't really a curry dish I don't think but it was delish. Had shrimp , tomato's , fish balls, noodles , mushrooms etc . I was cold and this warmed me up nice. Also got the Thai iced coffee which I've never had which was also good. But pricy at around $5 I was the only one inside. After shout $23 ( 15 for the soup) and 5 for the drink plus tip wasn't too bad. It was good but didn't stand out as amazing. If you're looking for someplace that's new give it a shot

I ordered a Vegetable pad Thai for carry-out. Even though they nailed the level of spicy requests I made, they forgot the vegetables! Instead, I found pieces of pork. Also, the noodles were super short the traditional long noodles found in most places. It's a small place and the service was friendly. $14 plus a $3 tip, I would have preferred I got what I ordered.

Had a lovely dinner on a quiet Tuesday night. Got here around 8pm and understandably the place was empty but they still had a few take outs. We were hungry and ordered our food right away. Thankfully the food came out pretty quickly as well. For appetizer, we shared the Chive Pancake. It was delicious- crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. For mains- we shared Basil Fried Rice and Khao Soi. The Basil Fried Rice had an amazing taste and had a slight kick to the dish. The texture however was okay. The rice was too dry for our taste and had a bit of a crunch instead of being soft. The flavors otherwise were really good. The Khao Soi was 5/5. We ordered it with fried Tofu. The soup was super flavorful, thick and creamy. It was perfect! The ambiance was casual yet had a cozy vibe to it. The service was nice and we did not feel rushed at all. Looking forward to trying a few more dishes here!

Food is solid. This is probably our 4th time here. Every food weve ordered has been good and I havent had much to complain about. It's a small joint but they follow good covid protocols...masks, glass shield dividers for servers etc. Keep in mind it is small and I'd it got crowded I would feel a bit uncomfortable eating there. Good flow of customers. I've gotten their curry, padthai etc and everythings weve got has been good. Today we wanted to try their ramen even tho it's not a japanese place bc it got pretty good reviews. For a non-specializing ramen place located in lowell I'd say it was pretty tasty and wouldnt mind getting it again. Broth is good. Also got the tomyum creamy rice noodle soup. Amazing! Would love to get it again. Their shrimps r large in size and big chunks of mushrooms! Great flavour!! Tip: we always get thai ice tea cus its sooooo good. Love it love it!! Only recommendation is that their spoon is soooo tiny LOL. Not really a complaint but it's annoying that my noodles dont fit in w soup. Hahaha. I wish their spoons were larger lol. @eatsumbap

Every adventurous foodie should put Laos Thai Kitchen on their list!…read more If you're looking to branch out from the usual Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Indian cuisine, this is the place to do it. I can confidently say this is now one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. It's only my second visit, but somehow it was even better than I remembered. This has officially become one of my regular spots, and it'll definitely be a restaurant I bring friends and family to whenever they're visiting. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and perfect whether you're grabbing a solo lunch, celebrating a birthday, or enjoying a meal with the family. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely worth the wait. Unlike many Asian restaurants where dishes seem to appear almost instantly, everything here is cooked to order. It took a little longer for our food to arrive, but that's because it was fresh and you could taste the difference. To be fair, we also ordered nine dishes, so the kitchen definitely had their hands full. One thing I really appreciated was that every single dish was delicious. It's rare to order that much food at one restaurant and not have a single disappointment. Here's what we ordered: - Chicken Larb - Spare Ribs - Lao Sausage (an absolute must order!) - Garlic Wings - Potstickers - Fried Squid - Fried Noodles - Beef Jerky - Sticky Rice It was an incredible spread, and every dish brought something different to the table. If you're going with a group, I highly recommend ordering family style so everyone can try a little bit of everything. Laos Thai Kitchen absolutely lived up to the hype. I can't wait to come back, explore more of the menu, and order another table full of food. 10/10, highly recommended!

And I am so glad we did! The menu carries a smaller variety than others in the area but the ones they do, they seem to make them well. We got the fried pompano and the crying Thaiger steak. The fried pompano came with a sauce that was so good that we asked for extra. It was spicy but not too much and thick and went perfectly with the fish. We even put some on the steak just cause and it went well with it. Ended up packing some sauce to bring home lol Plenty of street parking in the area so that's another plus. Lastly, the prices are very fair for this economy and this level of deliciousness. And the server is so funny and personable!

I happened to be nearby today though & finally got to give their food a try! We were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. Their menu has a lot of Thai & Lao food options. Here's what we ended up ordering: - Crab Rangoons - Laarb Seen/Lao Beef Salad - Kowpoon/ Laotian Curry Noodle Soup - Beef Pad See Ew - Thai Iced Tea The crab rangoons were delicious! I love crab rangoons, in general, BUT these tasted unique (in a good way!). They use real crab meat in their filling & you can definitely taste a difference. I can see why this is one of their most ordered appetizer! Next, we tried their beef laarb. This was also yummy & tasted fresh. It had a good amount of cucumbers, fresh herbs, and good cuts of beef! I'm used to having laarb with ground beef or ground meat & I preferred the style I had today! Came with fresh whole Thai chili peppers so we could adjust the spice level to our liking. Now on to the entrees! I had the kowpoon/Laotian curry noodle soup & I'll be honest... it was not what I was expecting. I went in thinking that it would be similar to the Thai curry noodle soup dish Khao Soi but it tasted much lighter. I personally didn't enjoy the noodles because they were kind of soggy/overcooked. I typically like al dente for all noodles & couldn't get myself to eat more than 3 bites. I ended up taking all the noodles out of the soup & put it to the side on a spare plate. Also, I've never had this dish before but there was little to no protein in this dish, just bits of shredded chicken that was mixed in with the noodles. It was essentially a coconut curry broth with some vermicelli noodles though. For the pad see ew, we really liked this dish! It had very good flavor & noodles were perfect. Overall, I enjoyed the food we tried today at Lanxang Star! Generous portion sizes, great prices. & everything was packed with flavor. Only thing that I wasn't a fan of was how the noodles were more cooked than I would've liked. I'm not sure if this is how the dish is intended to be served & enjoyed though. The soup broth was tasty still! Parking: lots of free parking available in the parking lot

Every dish I've ever tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of heart goes into the cooking here. On top of that, the staff is wonderful -- friendly and genuinely welcoming, which always makes us feel valued as guests. Unfortunately, I have to rate my current experience four out of five stars due to an issue that significantly impacted our meal. While we were eating, there were cockroaches crawling on the wall near us, which was extremely unsettling and completely tainted the experience. It made it very difficult to continue enjoying our food, despite how delicious it was. I say this with sincerity: if the restaurant can fully address the cleanliness concerns, including any cockroach or rodent issues, I truly believe this place can return to being a solid five-star restaurant. The food and the people are already there -- it just needs that final, crucial piece to match the quality of everything else.

You don't make food like this without some kind of Thai grandma quietly running the show in the back. I was also talked into the curry puff, which they only make in limited quantities daily. The filling? Not my favorite. But the puff pastry itself? Buttery, impossibly flaky, and executed to perfection. Honestly, they could've filled it with sand and I still would've finished it. It was also, apparently, less salty, presumably for the same reason. The amount of kimchi in the "sample" was so plentiful as to almost fill up the mini cup we used for takeout. They have a large selection of vegetarian and vegan food, as well as some gluten free items, though they lack the staff and kitchen size to accommodate celiacs, so it's really more of use for people on elimination diets or with poor digestive capabilities. The owner had prior training in Italian cuisine, which is the reason such food is on the menu, and while neither my father nor I had occasion to try it, it is apparently a passion of the chef's, and the shared discussion of their mutual interest in Italian cooking may be the reason my father was given a free "sample" of kimchi, which was larger than the paid order of kimchi at most other restaurants. The food portions, in general, are massive, with the leftovers of an order of wonton soup not fitting in a to-go canister, with other orders being similarly large. Their jasmine tea is unusual for its slight fruity flavor, and ability to "overbrew" without becoming bitter, instead maintaining its delicate flavor. Each table has condiments, which in addition to including the "normal" chili crisp, and fish sauce often found at Asian restaurants that provide table condiments, have the more western pepper grinder, as well as garlic salt. Curiously, there is no "normal" salt as often found at western restaurants, though bottles of sriracha are found at every table. Perhaps the garlic salt and sriracha are the restaurant's "unique twist"?

Still a little weak on the service (more about being young, unfocused and lacking initiative than anything approaching rudeness). Still highly recommended.
