Red P6. Sichuan Chili Wontons are SOOOO GOOD!
Sarretta M.

We come here every time we are in the Atlanta area. It is one of my favorite all-time Chinese restaurants for authentic food. The food is consistently excellent! The decor is lovely and classy. And the service is fast and friendly.

I see this place nearly every day, and also keep seeing the good reviews, so we had to try it. Small place that's somewhat quaint, but not awesome. Staff is friendly. Young lady seated us immediately. I saw a pic of a meal with fried rice that looked more white than fried so I asked about their fried rice, and whether it could be made a little darker. She said it's pre-made. That was disappointing. I ordered General tso chicken, and wife ordered Mongolian beef. Food arrived in minutes, and was piping hot. Both meals were good quality, and delicious. I'd say they were both well above average. I have a high degree of confidence they are very consistent, and that's not all that common here. Overall, it deserves a recommendation for a try. I don't think I could make it a regular stop, but if you like this kind of Asian food, you might.

Dined on Lunar New Year. The restaurant was peaceful yet. There was an air of excitement because of the new year. We had our lucky dinner and despite how busy it had gotten, the service was impeccable and dishes were consistently delicious. I highly recommend you make reservations if you're planning to dine there during a special holiday such as LNY or arrive early before the crowds come.

Cute place, great for groups or a date. At first, I thought the server didn't hear me when she quickly walked away after I asked for water with no ice. She definitely did. I also got a pair of chopsticks with mold on it, but when asked to replace it, she did. Food was amazing! I can't stop thinking about their calamari appetizer to this day! I ordered fish while my husband ordered chicken, and we had leftovers. Husband didn't like the fish because of the smooth texture but growing up with a diverse palate, I didn't understand and still loved it. Chili Spot in Duluth might be better, but location-wise, I'm glad we have a Chinese restaurant around here.

We went back tonight for dinner, and what a difference! The hostess seated us right away, and the waitress, from before, came right to the table to take our drink orders. After bringing our drinks, she asked if we were ready to order, stating that she wanted to put our 2 orders in before the large table (12 people) behind us. We thanked her for her thoughtfulness. The hostess brought out our soup orders, and I noticed they also have an additional food runner who helped clear dishes and bus tables. I ordered egg drop soup and my husband got the hot & sour soup. We also ordered Mongolian Beef and Sesame Chicken. It was all delicious! Despite not having a foyer, the restaurant was nice and warm inside, a welcome reprieve from the cold outside. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed dinner here tonight. The chicken and vegetable dish we ordered was tasty but the combo Lo Mein left a lot to be desired. Service was quick and attentive and the vibe was on par with most other Chinese restaurants. Not sure it's enough to make me want to return but it served the purpose tonight.

Pork dumplings

Visited this local eatery and was satisfied with their menu and choices. My favorite dish to order for an appetizer was their salt and pepper calamari. I love how lightly fried it is and how it comes with jalapeños to add some spice. I ordered their pork dumplings which were decent but I much prefer mine to be fried. I ordered the sesame chicken with snow peas instead of broccoli and it was good. My husband ordered their General Tsos which he throughly enjoyed. I love how it is authentic Chinese food but it is also local. Service was great and server was attentive to our table. We will be coming back soon.

Wontons in chili oil
Kisha M.

Great Christmas night dinner. Nice variety on the menu. Service was fast and friendly. We had wontons in chili oil, salt and paper calamari, Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and one other beef dish I can't recall. Everything was good the Mongolian beef was so tender, but there wasn't a lot of beef in the dish. The calamari was also very tender and delicious. There wasn't a full bar, but we stuck to soft drinks.

Boiled Fish Filet in Hot Oil
Melissa D.

Authentic Americanized Chinese food but still good. We ordered the Scallion Pancake, Chicken Lettuce Wrap, and Fish in Chili Oil. All were tasty options but the Fish in Chili Oil, while marked as spicy definitely was not. We do authentic Chinese frequently and were excited to see that on the menu so I felt that was lacking. It was still good though. They do offer many authentic Chinese dishes so if you are considering ordering a spicy dish, let them know you mean it. I'm sure they are simply trying to cater to many of their patrons. Due to the overwhelming number of positive reviews, they aren't wrong. If we were to go back, we would tell them to really spice it up. The service was fantastic! We were greeted and sat, during a busy rush with no issues and served with enthusiasm. Our server(s) were very helpful and prompt on any of our questions or needs like drink refills and such. The decor is nice and restroom clean (which can make or break my reviews as a dirty restroom makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. But no concerns there. I'd definitely go back. I knocked one star only due to the Americanized "authentic" Chinese. While I believe they are trying to balance the two for their guests, to call this authentic felt a bit misleading since we drove out of our way to try this place. Several of the authentic Chinese dishes at true authentic Chinese spots we were craving were not options, nor was the spice level there, it was still good food.

Ginny D.

Extremely yummy fried dumplings with sesame chicken and fried rice! It actually tasted like they made everything from scratch in the kitchen.

C10. Kung Pao Chicken
Sheela K.

This place is SOOOOO freaking good and I've only tried the Kung Pao chicken so far. I was afraid of excessive heat or amount of peanuts but they balanced the dish out beautifully. The dish was perfectly savory, a hint of sweet, good kick of spice, and portioned for 2 meals I feel like ($17). The taste feels authentic like what you get in Chamblee in China town but a tad bit tastier Customer service was very welcoming Ambiance is pretty laid back nothing crazy fancy but it is kind of cute inside for a date night. Attire would not matter here. I will ABSOLUTELY be back and tell others about this place!

HOT POT TOP 3…read more Forget "Breakfast at Tiffany's," when you can have "Hot Pot at Tiffany's." Luxury hot pot atmosphere with the best lunch price value for what you get at AYCE all-you-can-eat for $20. I actually get their hotpot lunch menu at least once a week, like clockwork. Because it's just that good. What makes this hot pot special: Large cooked kitchen menu AUCE included in hot pot price. Including rare items, like; braised tea eggs, sichuan shredded potato, gyoza, Taiwanese style pop chicken nuggets, and more. Unlimited chicken wings, made fresh. And, the wet lemon pepper slaps. Meat portions are so large that I order half portion. Sauce buffet bar here is the best in Georgia. Super clean, refilled often, and even has amazing peppercorn oil 花椒油. Want my sauce recipe? Luxurious and cute interior space, filled with white marble and Tiffany blue tableware. Their house pickles are on the buffet and are super addictive. I eat about 3 large bowls per visit. My only complaint here is that the broths are very mild in flavor and meats aren't the highest quality --- but the value, price, cooked items selection, and sauce bar makes up for it. The beautiful Tiffany blue plating and white marble decor here reminds me of the late and lovely hotpot place in Taiwan, Jiu Zhai Shi Guo 九寨十鍋-中山旗艦店. This is the Buford location only. Other locations don't appear to have all you can eat hot pot. I still need to try their dim sum menu.

Been there 3 times, consistently good food and service , great value . Nice and clean place.read more

The spiciness was good but was a little more sweeter than I would have liked. The papaya milk jelly came out with beautiful presentation and was a great way to end the meal. I've tried a variety of dishes over the years and they've been able to maintain great cooking consistency. Their dining room service used to be high-touch. They lost a couple older, but much more service oriented wait staffers over the years. Whenever you had lobster before, they would offer a new plate in exchange of your existing plate filled with discarded shells. Today, they couldn't care less. But, the biggest detraction now is that they have significantly reduced their portion sizing. It's been a short few months since I've dined in, but I was there this week and ordered a variety of dishes and was hugely DISAPPOINTED that most dishes were HALF-SIZED compared to last year. IT WAS SHOCKING. The menu prices have always been premium pricing but it's even more so today when shrinkflation showed up this past week. It was really a let down because they have raised prices over the years but at least kept the sizing fairly consistent. I was okay paying higher prices for good portions and good service, but that equation simply doesn't add up anymore.

If you enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine, this place delivers bold flavors, generous portions, and dishes that taste like they were made for people who appreciate real Chinese cooking. On our visit, we ordered the Fish Fillet & Beef In Hot Spicy Sauce with SoyBean Sprouts & Sichuan Pepper, Boiled Fish Fillet in Soy Sauce, Mouth-Watering Chicken in Cold Spicy Sauce W/Ground Peanuts, Pork Belly Slices W/ Preserved Vegetables and Spicy Noodles with Ground Pork and Peanuts, along with rice to soak up every last bit of sauce. The Spicy Boiled Fish and Beef was the star of the meal. The large bowl arrived covered with fragrant chili oil, dried chilies, and Sichuan spices. The fish and beef were incredibly tender and silky, while the broth delivered layers of heat, aroma, and numbing spice without overwhelming the flavor of the fish. Every bite was rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. In contrast, the Boiled Fish Fillet in Soy Sauce showcased the kitchen's finesse with more delicate flavors. The fish was exceptionally fresh, flaky, and perfectly cooked, served in a light soy-based sauce with scallions and greens. It allowed the natural sweetness of the fish to shine and provided a wonderful balance to the spicier dishes on the table. The Chicken in Cold Spicy Sauce with Ground Peanuts was another standout. The chicken was moist and tender, dressed with fragrant chili oil, garlic, cilantro, and crunchy toppings that added texture and freshness. It was refreshing yet packed with flavor and made for an excellent appetizer. We enjoyed it with steamed rice. The Braised Pork Belly was beautifully prepared, with alternating layers of meat and fat that practically melted in your mouth. The rich soy-based braising sauce was savory with a touch of sweetness, making it the perfect companion to a bowl of steamed rice. The Spicy Noodles with Ground Pork and Peanuts were simple but incredibly addictive. The chewy noodles, savory minced pork, roasted peanuts, and fresh greens created a perfect combination of textures and flavors. Once mixed together, every bite delivered a satisfying balance of richness, crunch, and subtle heat. What impressed me most about Humble House was the authenticity of the food. The flavors are bold and unapologetically traditional, the portions are generous, and each dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The setting is casual since it's located inside the supermarket food court. If you're looking for authentic Sichuan and Chinese comfort food in Duluth, Humble House is absolutely worth a visit. Whether you're craving fiery boiled fish, comforting braised dishes, flavorful cold appetizers, or satisfying noodle bowls, this spot delivers. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

They have you order via a QR code that doesn't really work all that well and then they want you to order everything at once instead of like most of these types of places where you can order as you go (ex: dim sum, kbbq, sushi, etc.). We like to order as we go so we don't overwhelm ourselves with too much food at once or waste food. The pros and cons: the scallion pancake is amazing. Super thin and crispy and light. I had the pork and cabbage dumplings (pan fried) and my fiancé had the beef pan fried and beef bao. The dumplings were hot and tasty (the first round anyway), but when we finally got our second round, they were just warm. Cons, the food coming out is pretty slow and they rush you to order everything at once. The server said they were super busy but it didn't seem like there were many people in the dining room, but maybe they were just short handed. Our friends we dined with had been twice before and said this was inconsistent with the last two times they'd been there and that the wonton soup was different this time as well. We had to ask for one item in our order to be canceled because it was completely forgotten. My fiancé also ended up with an upset stomach after but the beef dumplings did seem a little oily to me.
