Okay. We came in with a group of 20 and they accommodated us with no problems. Food was delicious. Authentic Chinese food. Service was friendly and fast. They have drinks y'all! My thought when I first visited this place was, "This is a pricey Chinese restaurant for Atlanta." But as with most things, you get what you pay for. Nowadays, I ALWAYS look forward to our meals here. The menu consists of authentic Chinese items with a smattering of Chinese American fare. You can tell with each dish that they use only fresh ingredients. The combination of flavors are never dull. The portions are large enough to have leftovers to take home. Favorites are Jade Tofu, pan fried noodles with beef, Kung Pao chicken, and the Hong Kong fish filet. Servers are quite attentive and engaging. Flavors definitely were not there. The Dan Dan noodles were the highlight of our meal. Soup dumplings were good for what they were- Metro Atl Gwinnett County soup dumplings. The pork belly was a soggy mess with strips cut way too thin and the crispy beef was lacking. More disappointment than satisfaction after the meal and will probably not return. Service was definitely better than most typical Asian restaurants. Mall of GA area usually brings that out in businesses. Restaurant was pretty packed with a wait but did not feel overcrowded. Finally! Chinese that tastes like Chinese! I've lived in the area for almost three years and have not found a place whose dishes are like that I've had in Western China - and in a very comfortable clean setting, I might add. The spice (even the dishes on the menu with Sichuan peppercorn) is on the mild side for American tastes - so don't be afraid to tell them to make it more spicy (scale of 1-5). Sichuan wontons, Kung pao chicken, rice noodles and crispy beef -- all nicely presented and very flavorful. Don't miss the hot and sour soup either!! We will be back here again! read more

Nice seating inside. Service seemed off to me, despite its title saying "authentic." The menu had authentic Chinese options, but also had Americanized food too. When I asked what they recommend, they mostly offered Americanized options for us. Idk if it was bc we weren't Chinese, but it definitely made me question their "authentic" foods. Anyways, I disregard their Americanized recommendations and ordered Xiao long bao (soup dumplings) and dry beef pot. Dry beef pot was good. I've also had their Dan Dan noodles before and loved it. Xiao long bao were okay and I could find better elsewhere; I wish it was steaming hot. Also when they served us, they didn't give us a chopstick nor spoon for Xiao Long Bao and only left us with a fork. Again, it felt disrespectful. Even though I'm not Chinese, I'm still southeast Asian and know how to use a chopstick... It's either they were discriminating us or they weren't authentic. This place isn't bad at all. Convenient location by Mall of Georgia with accessible parking. The inside is clean and staff taking sanitary precautions and wearing masks. I've tried a few things here and liked most of it but I'm going to be thorough in my review of each item. The chicken lo mein - excellent flavors, piping hot, and priced very well. You just want more. Eat with chopsticks, the flavor from the wood is complimentary to the dish. The fish in black bean sauce - quite good. Tender pieces of flounder swimming in a slightly spicy black bean sauce with sautéed peppers and onions. It comes with steamed white rice and the portion is enough for two imo. I highly recommend this one. The soup dumplings- I wouldn't order this again. I've had dumplings at other Chinese places that were far better. The consistency of the chicken inside is pasty and off putting, the flavor is so so, and when you bite into one a weird watery juice type substance comes out. The whole thing to me was unappetizing and strange. I'd skip this next time and try something else. Even the sauce that came with it was bad. It looks like soy sauce at first glance but as you taste and smell it you realize it's like a brown vinegary sauce that made the dumplings even worse. All in all this place is worth a try. It helps that they're friendly to customers and quick with orders. They really know how to push things out fast while maintaining quality and order. read more

We went to WEI on a Sunday afternoon and they weren't as busy (yet?). We got our food in a timely manner and we left satisfied. I ordered the DanDan noodles, the soup dumplings with pork, my daughter ordered the Mongolian beef and my husband and sons had the Seafood Stonepot. I've never had DanDan noodles but this one was okay...But everything else was delicious. My daughter usually just eat Chicken & Broccoli as she's a very picky eater but this time she surprised me by ordering the Mongolian Beef and she loved it. I'm glad we tried WEI. These dishes were served family style for four people and we had just a little leftover to take home. Terrible service. Placed online order for pickup via their website after enjoying my meal a month or so ago. Paid ahead online (no other option) and received confirmation of my order. Arrived 20 minutes later to being told my order was not made because I was a new customer and they couldn't confirm my order . . . . Not sure why confirmation is needed when you pay online for your order in addition to previously ordering from here before. Bank account clearly showed I was charged for the online order. Refund was refused in store and told I had to dispute with my credit card company. Safe to say i'll never be coming back here. Zero stars if possible. read more

Food was decent not great. I will never come back here. Portioned was not so big. I eat out alot and for high price & portion size. Your probably better going to Duluth or Chamblee. I had party of 4 Adults 3 kids. I have no problem paying tips. However to make 20% mandatory. I ask if I can pay bill and leave tip separate. They told me they couldn't and it must be added to bill & paid mandatory for party 6+. Since when was 20% tip mandatory? Let say if I don't feel like service was great or let say I wanted to leave more tip. I guess you dont have a chose and its force on to you. We ordered take outs for Chinese New Year. End result is not as expected. Peking Duck is dry but not crispy, and prices rose to $58 per duck; extra pancake is $0.50 each. I specifically asked for more sauce, but the sauce that came with is only 1/4 full, not even enough for 1/2 duck serving. Fairly disappointed!
