    House chow fun

These are hands down the least flavorful noodles I've ever had. No soy, salt, spice, sesame...there's nothing. It's almost confusingly bland searching for any kind of discernible flavor. The egg drop soup was okay though, and the service was polite and friendly.

If you want a quick meal and cheap. This is the place. Big portions for great price. I love their roasted duck here. Always my go-to. The veggies changes daily. Would come again. This location closes later than the chamblee one.

I ordered the roast crispy pork over rice, but the pork wasn't crispy at all.

I ordered the roast crispy pork over rice, but the pork wasn't crispy at all. I made sure to arrive early, so I know it wasn't sold out--I even saw it on display. It's disappointing because it feels like they might be using older pieces of pork for their rice plates. If that's the case, I could definitely find better quality elsewhere. Despite everything, it was a pretty large portion size.

You can never go wrong with Ming's. Their service is quick and their food is great. Almost as authentic as it gets in Duluth for Cantonese.

Great food! So many places to pick from in Duluth. This was a great find! Service good. Ambiance: lots of food to see.

My cousin took me here on my visit. I had the beef with vegetables over rice. It was fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

    Duck and pork over rice

Had dinner here on a Thursday night with a friend. It wasn't so busy so we got seated right away. The menu is a bit overwhelming to look at but I like the fact that they have pictures on the menu of what the dishes look like. When I come here, I usually order a dish with duck so I ordered the crispy pork and duck over rice and my friend ordered the duck with tofu over rice. My dish was good but my friend's dish was even better! I would definitely recommend the duck and tofu over rice. They stir fried the duck and tofu in a flavorful sauce. I didn't mind the duck skin not being crispy but if you want crispy duck skin, then I would order something else. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I I would definitely come back here when I'm in the area.

Food was 8/10 ------ Honey roast pork is 10/10 - tender fatty and delicious Roast pork I give 7/10 because it looked refried instead of fresh...how do you tell? The meat is browned instead of white. And you can tell the skin is not as crispy as fresh Roast duck 8/10 - nothing special White rice - dry Yang zhou fried rice - good flavor SERVICE the lady who came speaks English/Chinese and probably Vietnamese too. She was nice taking our order, woman of very little words. What irked me the most was when I paid in cash...she looked like she was having trouble finding bills that weren't $1s or $5s so I said just give me $20 back instead of $25. She balked at me and said "that's it?? For the tip??" Lady, that's behavior to get you no tip, wtf? I'm not your boss. I was planning on giving her more at the table but I mean your loss. Greed over a tip when you did nothing over the top or make conversation the whole time I was there. Just yikes. Order to go for tasty honey bbq pork!

This restaurant used to be my go to spot for Cantonese food (especially for the roasted duck and crispy pork) but after the last few visits, I've been quite disappointed. The service has went down. The food was ok, but still not the same as before. I'm not sure if owner and/or chef has changed ? Also, they used to not charge for rice if you ordered a meat dish but now they do BUT the servers insisted that they never did that and we were just making that up..... which made us upset. We don't mind paying for rice but don't lie either. Another time, we ordered take out and they automatically charged 18% tip without our permission or Knowledge. This place has changed a lot so be aware.

There are some differences to how menu items are made/taste from when I first had it, so I feel as though the chef has most likely changed. It's both good and bad because the menu items with taro aren't quite as nice as before, but other things are either the same or better like the Beef Ho Fun for example. The chicken feet have changed too, but both were good. All the classic items are still basically the same. I liked the pan fried chives dumplings and beef cheung fun here. I can't speak for dinner or how it is on the weekdays, but it's quite busy over the weekends, which is expected for dim sum. It's a large space too, but once it's busy, you'll have to take a number and wait for a table. There's some seating along the side of the entrance to wait, but it may still take awhile. Usually, only one person really has to go and take a number, so if possible, one person should strive to get there earlier.

My favorites were the siu mai (pork + shrimp dumplings) and the egg tarts, which were buttery, flaky, and baked perfectly! Beyond dim sum, their full Cantonese menu looks amazing -- from crispy salt & pepper squid to beef chow fun and roasted meats. It's definitely a spot I'll return to for dinner or a big celebration. Service was good too - we were never sitting around too long waiting for anything.

The Canton House on Buford Highway is my family's go-to for authentic Cantonese dim sum in Atlanta…read more The food is always up to expectations each and every visit. Having been at least once every couple months for years, it's our Chinese comfort food as dim sum is meant to be. Although I would recommend arriving at anytime they are open, we find the absolute best time for dim sum is to arrive right at opening on Saturday or Sunday. This time lets us beat the wait, get a great table fast, and the food is super plentiful, hot and fresh out of the kitchen. The chrysanthemum tea is a must have and complements the food as a perfect, tasty, and just sweet enough palate cleanser (although I would prefer to add the rock sugar myself to my tea, they serve it with sugar already inside the pot). For the absolute best pairing with your chrysanthemum tea, make sure to save room for the awesome pineapple buns while supplies last. They were out today and we all collectively cried (will be going back just for the pineapple buns soon...we are just not complete without them!). We love all the dishes, but our absolute favorites (outside of the pineapple buns) are the pork spare ribs with black bean, the beef rice rolls/noodles, shrimp dumplings, and turnip cakes. Add some spicy sauce to the spare ribs and turnip cakes to really set them off! For iced coffee lovers who like it really strong, don't pass up on the iced coffee. It has legs that are strong enough to walk, but completely complements the dim sum with a little extra boost to help you enjoy the day. So, I challenge others to find a better dim sum place in Atlanta. That is why Canton House earns my 5th star and looking forward to getting my pineapple buns (really) soon!

Very good - Beef Chow Fun: A very chewy and bouncy home made flat noodle dish. Savory, salty, and flavorful! Good amount of tender beef too. - Shrimp Balls: Crispy and fried on the outside, yummy, with good big shrimp ball. Yummy classic sweet and sour sauce too. Delicious - Egg Rolls: Good, not too oily, a normal egg roll - Spare ribs: Possibly my favorite dish! The dish also came with what looked like Chinese broccoli, which added a nice balance to the meal. The portion size was great -- it came in a standard takeout container but was definitely enough for both of us to share and feel full. The BBQ pork was the highlight for me (4/5). It was tender, juicy, and nicely caramelized with that classic sweet-savory glaze. The edges had a slight char that added extra depth, and each bite was flavorful without being overwhelming. The roasted pork, on the other hand, was just okay (2.5/5). While the skin had a bit of crispiness, the meat itself leaned on the tougher side and wasn't as juicy as I'd hoped. Unfortunately, there were quite a few bony pieces, which made it feel like we were getting less actual meat. Flavor-wise, it was a bit underwhelming and didn't have the same richness or satisfying texture as the BBQ pork. One thing that really stood out was the sauce poured over everything -- it was savory, slightly sweet, and tied all the components together really well. I also appreciated that the overall dish wasn't too salty, which made it easier to enjoy without feeling heavy. Service-wise, the cashier was friendly and answered our questions clearly, which made ordering easy. Since it's located in a food court, there was plenty of seating available, and it wasn't busy at all for a Saturday around 5 PM -- a nice, relaxed dining experience.
