Used to go to this Wendy's all the time as it's on my way home from work. Last Saturday was the last time I go back there. I mobile ordered some spicy nuggets and friends for carry out, no issues picking it up but when I got back to my car and started driving off, I ate a nugget without looking and realized it was the regular nuggets. Turned around and came back because I was having a bad day and really wanted my spicy nuggets. I told the girl at the register what happened and she just stared blankly at me for a minute, then rudely asked me what I wanted her to do about it. Get new nuggets? She sighed at me, took my bag, and dumped my order (that I already put my hands into) back into the bins that they grab ordered from. Wanted to stop in for a quick on the go lunch. Wendy's seemed like the perfect choice. Quick and easy. WRONG! Place order at the drive-thru window. Simple order: Spicy chicken sandwich, large fries and large coffee with milk. They dropped the ball when they forgot to put the fries into the bag. Had to park and go inside to get my fries. Usually the best part of the meal. WRONG AGAIN! Fries were cold and unsalted. The spicy chicken sandwich had no taste and little to no sauce. Don't forget the little piece of lettuce. Last but not least. The coffee. How about some coffee in that large cup of milk. No coffee at all. I didn't order a cup of milk. Stay away. Absolutely awful! Our server Kiara was so rude and screamed at us. Our server Kiara freaked out while a man was dealing with our money. I was trying to speak to the man to help him understand my change after I handed him a $100 that they didn't have change for (which wasn't told to me) and she was screaming behind him while making the food about change. She had no idea what she was talking about and was very rude. I then had to wait 5 minutes for my receipt and had to send my daughter in to go get in. The manager didn't come out to speak to me at all after I asked to speak to someone. Very very rude service. I will not be eating at this location ever again. This was a nice, clean Wendy's. A far more better experience than the Wendy's by the South Mall. That place is straight up foul. This place is pretty new, the service was fast enough and the food came quickly. The tables weren't really wiped down and the floors were a bit dirty, by whatever. This whole area is pretty busy because of the location so I imagine this place has the potential to get very busy. We were there at 1:30pm on a Saturday and it wasn't very crowded at all. The Wendy's on Cedar Crest Blvd is very bad. The drive thru takes about 25 minutes to get your food. In addition, young kids are standing around doing "nothing" and just talking among each other when there are about 15 cars waiting for their orders. The guy giving us our food was not wearing his mask correctly so I told him that if he was going to wear that there was no point wearing a mask. He had the mask down to below his top lip. Poor Ownership and Management. I get it with COVID and lack of workers, but if you don't have the bandwidth to process mobile orders then don't take them. Instead, you took our order and then closed your store so we couldn't pick it up. You had no signage indicating that the dining room was closed, so you created further confusion as we walked around the store trying to get in without explanation....then we waited in line for 45 minutes for our cold food. The people who operate the drive-thru window have, on more than a few occasions, gotten my order wrong or I'll return home and find items missing. Understaffed and underprepared. Went to try and get a quick lunch since I was on a short break from work. Get in there and there are only four employees with a long line inside and a long line of cars outside piling up in the drive thru. It was even getting to a point where the cars in the drive thru were blocking traffic. The lack of employees for a popular franchise business is a red flag if it isn't a small little takeout place or family business. Not only was the business understaffed even with the little staff there it seemed like it was completely unorganized. Two staff were flipping burgers and making just about everything that needed to be cooked while one staff member was just putting fries in the containers and that's it. Another was just on the register the whole time just taking orders. While what looked to be the manager in the building was trying to do several things at once like getting food out to people taking orders from the drive thru, handling mobile and online orders, etc. It's definitely not a good sign in a restaurant when it seems like tasks aren't divided up properly and when it just seems like complete chaos breaking down. The food was the standard for Wendy's food. Just classic Wendy's burgers. Nothing was over cooked or undercooked and everything appeared to be correct with the burgers and food. The restaurant itself appeared to be relatively clean but on closer inspection the tables were all dirty and had some type of like soda stain or something else on them. Not super fun eating on sticky tables. Ordering was a major pain. It didn't really seem like they cared at all if they got your order correct or not. I tried to get a baconator, spicy chicken sandwich, and a new item called the bourbon bbq burger, just the sandwiches instead the girl at the register decided for me that I was getting them all as meals. She also thought that instead of the stuff I listed above that I asked for just multiple chicken sandwiches. I said the item numbers to try to avoid the most possible confusion since something like this happened a while ago the last time I got food here. It also didn't seem like my order was the only one that the staff was having trouble getting correct as I saw other customers going up pointing out how they were missing a bunch of different things they ordered. Overall, If your looking to grab a quick bite on a busy schedule I would not recommend going here then. But otherwise it's your standard Wendy's I guess. Tonight my roommate and I went to Wendy's at 12am and I got a 4 for $4 with a chicken sandwich, Baconator fries, 4 chicken nuggets and a drink! First of all, both of our French fries smelt and tested like cleaning solution. Also instead of 4 chicken nuggets, I got 3 chicken nuggets. I called the store but they hung up on me and took the phone off the hook. I tried for 25 minutes straight but only got a busy signal!!!!! I am hoping my roommate and I will not need to go to the ER because we got sick off the French Fries. We had a problem before with them before when we go there around 12am! In terms of customer service and speed, this is without a doubt the WORST Wendy's I've ever been to. When I went in today there were only 4 people on during lunch rush. 4! And every time I walk in, they seem to have no more than a skeleton crew working. Drive-thru is just as bad. I have no problem with the employees, and having worked at McDonalds, I understand these situations happen. But it's unacceptable for it to happen all the time, especially during a lunch rush and late at night on a Friday to be waiting an average of 20 minutes to get my order taken, and another 10 to get the order. Either the GM needs to hire more people, or get their crap together when it comes to scheduling. Ridiculous! read more

Brand new location and new building. Much more modern, but I expected it to be cleaner. Managers need to send an employee through the dining room, at least once an hour to make sure empty tables are cleared and clean. It truly only takes 10 minutes and makes a bigger impression. Fast food is delicious when made to company specifications and they LISTEN to the order of the customer. So I stopped in at their new location. It is hard to believe this is a new restaurant. I got a spicy chicken sandwich, and it wasn't even warm. Fries were greasy. When you looked over at the fryers, smoke was billowing off of them. Maybe it is time to change the oil? Nobody smiled, managers seemed to worry only about the driver thru orders, oh, and yeah, the dining room floor and the men's restroom were pretty dirty.
