The man that works the register is one of the kindest, best customer service minded people I have come across in my 53 years. I'm disabled and he was so kind and helpful to me that I will never forget it. He didn't ask me if I needed help, he just was a man of action. He brought me to a table and carried my tray. Once I sat down, he took my cup to the self serve station and made the drink I wanted for me. He put a lid on it and a straw on top and brought it to me. Then he brought me catsup for my fries and two packs of salt with napkins. He then asked if there was anything else he could do for me! I was beside myself. Amazing. You are an amazing man brother. I've been to the Boerne location only twice the first time they were really rude and we didn't receive all of our items But, I thought maybe it was just that day whatever. Weeks pass and I order food through the app and ordered the new brownie milk shake, NOT the regular ice cream version that Wendy also has. I've seen the difference of them and no matter what we asked or said they still told us that we were wrong and it only comes in one form.... Now, if that were the case I would have just bought the cheaper one and called it a day but at this point I'm just left feeling like I paid for things I didn't actually order/get with no kindness when confronted with the fact that they messed up and didnt wanna fix it when honestly it something simple and I was trying to be genuine about it. (although when is it's a customers job to de-escalate a situation, place, or person of an establishment that I don't even work for)... it's just weird I don't like to argue and the woman there seemed like she did so I just left it at that We were the only people there the first and second time, so there should be no reason as to why their attitude is so uptight, no reason as to why the food quality taste worse than other locations and absolutely no reason to mess up orders the way they do when their not even dealing with a rush. read more

Horrible! Used the app to order for drive thru pick up since the inside was not open. They messed up pretty much everything and it was all cold and soggy. - did not give chicken nuggets we paid for - gave us the wrong burger - fries cold and a soggy mess - asked for ketchup / was yelled at it's already in the bag. I know this is cliché... but I would give zero stars if I could. On two separate occasions I ordered a chicken sandwich combo. Both times I got home and it was a cheeseburger. Both times they even asked if I want classic , grilled, or spicy. Both times I specified classic chicken. Both times. It was a cheeseburger. I decided I would never go back. I also ordered a 4 piece chicken nugget and fries for my wife. They asked me what sauces I wanted. I ordered a ranch, a sweet & sour, and a honey mustard. When I order my food at the Drive thru window, they told me my total was $8. I told them I wanted a Pink lemonade, when I got to the window he gave me a strawberry lemonade and said he thought that one would have been better. I said but did you charge me for it. He said no. The tea was an interesting taste. We ordered two #1's. The did not have tomato, lettuce, or onion on them. Only cheese and mayo. No ketchup was offered or included. I am not sure how you can mess up a burger but they did. We will go to Sonic next time. read more

I love Wendy's. But this location is horrible. I had to return a Dave's single back 3 times. All because the burger was cold. I'm not an idiot.... If one slice of cheese is all hard and congealed. And the other slice is ice cold. Along with the burger being luke warm...you do the math. The burger patty obviously was made 15-20min prior and sat there under a heat lamp. It's not even the temp of the patty that's the issue. I don't want to eat a burger with a congealed slice of cheese and an ice cold slice of cheese. The cheese should be melted a tad bit at least due to the patty. Then the lady working there said it wasn't the burger, but it could have just been me. She claims that is how Wendy's burgers always are. I asked for my money back and left. To all those people working in that Wendy's.... Customers would rather wait an extra 1-2 min for a fresh burger. Would give zero stars if an option. A few days ago got a full size salad from this Wendy's, and as I was getting halfway through it, found hair in it. Gagged and threw it away. Today, my daughter went there to pick up a diet grape soda from them (but no food due to last experience noted re hair in food). After picking up food at another fast food place, we noted that Wendy's had shorted my drink by about 1/4 of the normally full cup. Upon removing the lid to add more ice, found a HAIR STUCK ON THE INSIDE OF THE CUP. The facility was very clean and we had a great time enjoying the scenery outside. The cooks and the staff were very friendly and familiar. 12-31-19 that was the day I wanted to eat a Wendy's Hamburger in Boerne. It was around 2pm when I placed my order. Double meat and cheese hamburger with fries and a d.coke. It was the only thing I had all day to eat. The fries were as cold as my drink, they were far from being close to Luke warm. The meat patties were not hot at all, like they were cooked minutes before I placed my order, not freshly cooked. After eating some of the food, later in the day I got sick to my stomach here it is 1:57am 1-1-20 New Years Day and I spent New Years in the bed with cramps and a bad stomach ache. Typical fast food joint. Service was very slow. Dining room was dirty and feels so cramped. Flies were all over the place. Those little jerks were diving nonstop left and right towards our food. We played air swat with one hand while eating our burgers with the other. Fun stuff! Drink machine has 100's of options but does no good when everything is out. Literally only fruity diet drinks were available. Like other reviews, our order was missing items so we had to go back and ask for them. With all that being said I am still giving 3 stars because the food was good and they gave us an extra frosty. Score! Free food always tastes better, can I get an amen?? Otherwise burgers were made well and the fries were hot. After waiting 15 minutes, I would hope it's fresh. Probably wouldn't visit this location again though. This is obviously an old building, but aside from the age of the restaurant, it is just plain dirty inside. The counters around the drinks and ketchup are always dirty. I was the only customer when I was here this week and it was still hard to find a table that was clean. Teenage staff was loud in the kitchen and 2 of the employees were smoking right outside the entrance doors. One of the worst Wendys I have been to.
