Horrible Drive Thru Service. The young man didn't even say hello, all I got was a fish sandwich with just cheese and a key chain frosty ONLY. He tried to charge me for the frosty. I then said "no I have a key chain. He then verbally confirmed my order and amount $6.29. I get to the window and mow my amount is $6.86. I said no the screen said $6.29 and you verbally confirmed. I handed him .30 cent and said I'll tap my card for the $6.00. You can keep the Penney. He then said no you owe me .86 more cent after I gave him the .30. I he then said to me you trying to get me fired. I said no. Please go get your supervisor. Well she was standing right there giggling and said I got it. He then tapped the register. She then said you owe us .86 more cents. I said nope I gave him .30. Shen ten said well he did not charge you for the frosty. I then produced my key chain tag. She said okay well you owe me $6.38. Aging I said nope. I then gave her .38 more cents and then asked her politely to please put the card reader at the window. I tapped my card and she handed me my food I asked for the receipt. I said to her don't fire him just retrain him so he can work on his customer service and the importance of not being rude rushing customers and telling them verbally the correct amount and always offer the receipt . She said okay I said thank you, I even made the heart sign on my heart. read more

There were about four parties ahead of us, so I dreaded the wait. And was shocked by the quick pace of orders and the pleasant attitude of the young man working the register. I wish I could give them no stars with how they handled my situation. I've been frequenting this Wendy's for years. So, being hungry what did I do? I go to my local Wendy's. Worse mistake ever!! I get my $5 biggie bag and I smell this foul odor coming from the bag. The smell was so putrid, it was like someone took their hand and wiped it through their ass crack, and touched my food and served it to me. George the manager laughed in my face, tried to downplay the situation and only when I said I wouldn't be coming back to the restaurant tried to resolve the issue. They don't wear gloves to handle your food and they don't take the customer's needs seriously. Will not be going again. read more

As one of 2 guests inside, it took forever to get over cooked food that was handed to me by a young lady that had an attitude was loud. There was touching of multiple surfaces with the same pair of gloves. For example, the young lady working fries touching a gentleman's headset with the same pair of gloves. Not changing them prior to going back to fries. There did not seem to be an adult in sight. It seemed to be ran by a bunch high schoolers. The drive thru line was blocking the exit. It's getting better . . . They aren't detail oriented and get a little frustrated when you point it out.

First, we stopped here for a bathrooms stop. The ladies room had toilet paper rolls on the floor and none in any of the receptacles and papwe all over the floor. Also there was no paper in the holder to dry hands after washing. Then, because we made a bathroom stop we decided to at least have a meal. When we went to order a salad we were told "no salads", we asked no salads? the kid simply said "no salads" we said no thank you and left. At the least there could have been some kind of sign over all the salads on the menu. read more

Not sure if it's due to lack of qualified employees or what but this location is horrible. It's close to home, so that's the only reason i frequent but customer service leaves much to be desired. From the moment you pull up to order at drive thru, "what you want". After you order, they don't tell you a total, just "pull around". Even at the window i exchanged pleasantries, said "hello", nothing. I handed them my card, and someone else handed my food, I said "thank you", they rolled their eyes and walked away. Then I get my card back and they walk away. They turned around wondering why I'm still sitting at the window, like damn can I get my receipt please. My Southwest Avocado Chicken Salad barely had any chicken on it. Unfortunately I offered through a drive at night and didn't discover this problem until I got home. It contained a very small portion of chicken breast, cut into about 10 tiny pieces. I called to voice my dissatisfaction and need to return this Salad. I never had a chicken salad like anywhere. when was there an option for a Medium-Rare burger ?? my husband ordered the "Baconator" along with other food . we checked the food to make sure it was all there but it wasn't until we got home and he took a bite of his burger . he spit it out immediately realizing how undercooked the burger was . this seems to constantly be an issue for all of Bowie/Upper Marlboro locations . it's fast food and i know not to expect the best quality but it's still no excuse for serving raw meat where "Medium-Rare" isn't even an option read more

Came on the night of August 13, when the manager (light skin guy with dreads) politely served me two cold burgers with extra patties. I asked why they couldn't serve the lemonade, which I was told that they were closing soon and it was for the next day. Am I not still a customer regardless of the day??! I assume I was served raw food from the manager because of my drink request. I would stay FAR FAR. Away from this Wendy's! So we ordered online at work. Before heading to the restaurant I confirmed that the order had been received and all I would have to do is check in when I arrived. My phone was not allowing me to access the email so i went it anyway. I informed the manager and the cashier. The manager stated, Its probably not in our system then. I explained that i received the confirmation on my work email. She pulled the order up after the discussion. What gets me the most is that the order was there to work on 10 minutes before I arrived. So why was the order not started prior to my arrival then? She immediately gave me an attitude about it and while she was getting the order ready with the cashier. Then they screwed up on the baked potato and I had to wait even longer. The cashier Amanda was to one who caught the error with the baked potato,alerted the manager and the manager had even a bigger attitude. So did the person who prepared the baked potato the first time incorrectly. This is not the first time there has been issues with this location. Disrespecting the customer with attitude should not be an acceptable practice anywhere. You need to reevaluate who your company hires to manage the employees and store. read more

Terrible EVERY TIME. I'm done giving this joint the benefit of the doubt. It really should be ZERO stars. They take absolutely no pride or care in the quality of service or food they put out. My fav meal has always been the Spicy Chx sand. I guess they don't sell too many here b/c whenever I order one from this location it never fails to be a cold, gritty hockey puck. The lettuce is always wilted and the mayo is always overkill. Honestly, stopping at ANY Wendy's is like playing Russian Roulette these days. It's definitely not the Wendy's from back in the day. The drive thru line was pretty long so I opted to go inside. I placed my order, but it took a while for my food to come. That's fine I'm patient during busy periods. However! As I was getting my food, an employee came from outside, used a little hand sanitizer, then proceeded to drop patties in the deep fryer. Not sure if regulation says you have to wear gloves on the deep fryer, but I am pretty sure you need to use more than hand sanitizer when coming in from outside. Covid or not that is unsanitary. You need to wash your hands properly before coming back to work. Safe to say I did not eat my food and won't be coming back. read more

Fast food has two characteristics. One is that they lack quality. Two, they are fast. This particular Wendy's only has one. They are slow slow slow.
