Friend picked me up some food from this place. It's meh. The wings aren't seasoned, they're just HOT. The meat wasn't seasoned or flavored first. Just slathered abundantly in jerk seasoning. There's no seasoning on the cabbage and the rice & peas is mediocre at best. Again, flavorless. I hear the service is pretty good, but I try to avoid places like this. They're the McDonalds of Caribbean cuisine and do ok for the uninitiated. The beef patties (two of them) taste ok. These are obtained frozen from their central kitchen and heated up on-site. I was in the mood for some Jamaican food today so another for Grubhub and Negril didn't disappoint. This time I ordered curry chicken meal, coco bread, shrimp curry and spicy beef patty, and lastly plantains. Now I wish they would already have plantains in the dinner plates but I digress. I would say that the jerk chicken meal had better flavors but the curry was alright. Just need more spice or punch of that curry and it said dark meat but the chicken was a little dry. I've never heard or had a shrimp curry patty but it tasted alright the spicy beef was really good. Now the star of the show was the coco bread which was extremely soft and tasty. I went to an old faithful today since my son wanted some curry chicken. I ordered through DoorDash and picked it up. The pickup process was extremely smooth/convenient, they have pick up windows for online orders and you just put your name info and it unlocks. I ordered 2 curry chicken dinners and chicken soup. The curry chicken dinners were very plentiful and pretty tasty, I give it an 8/10. My cons would be a little more flavor on cabbage and chicken, but not bad. I'll definitely order it again. The chicken soup also had a different type of flavor, not bad just different. Again I'll give it a 7.5/8 out of 10. Prices are very reasonable Parking is tricky but if you order ahead it's really quick pick up I would recommend the items I ordered today. read more

Reliable, great, Caribbean food. I love that they have a variety of patties. Last visit, I got the curried shrimp. Nice-sized shrimp, but the rice soaked up all the curry. I wanted to share my recent and very disappointing experience at Negril. On 10/2026 after my 8:00 a.m. appointment at MedStar and a 10:30 a.m. orthodontist visit next door, I decided to stop by Negril for curry chicken. Shortly after eating, I became extremely sick -- experiencing severe cramps and stomach pain, and I lost about five pounds as a result. When I reached out to the restaurant, I was advised to drink Pedialyte and Gatorade. Frankly, I was very upset by this response. The issue should never have occurred in the first place, and that suggestion felt dismissive given how ill I became. I appreciate that the manager returned my call, but I will no longer be supporting this establishment after this experience. I felt it was important to bring this to your attention in hopes that it prevents others from going through something similar. read more

We enjoyed all the patties but felt the spinach was the weakest, tasted like canned spinach. Beef and curry chicken are easy repeats, love the flaky yellow pastry dough wrapped around the well seasoned meat! Jerk chicken was on point. The inside was remodeled fairly recently, so it's a bit more spacious and nicely decorated. Their patties and chicken soup are both really good. Lots of patty options, but I usually get jerk chicken or beef. The customer service is really my only complaint. I called to order while i was at another store in the plaza, but they said I had to come in to order. I went in just for soup and 4 patties and had to wait 25 minutes. Before I got my order, they started cleaning up as it was close to closing time. Someone was putting together patties for the staff to take home and asking who and who wanted to take what. I don't understand why that couldn't have been done after everyone standing there waiting was served. Disappointing! I ordered you oxtails today and received way more fat and bone than oxtails. For $21, it was a major disappointment. If I had more time, I would have returned it. I also received one too many beef patties and one less coco bread. Taste was spectacular, but the quantity and quality was trash. And I don't know what this bony stuff is that took up about an inch of the container. Too bad you can't add photos. read more

The chicken was tender and authentically CURRIED. other places I've been you taste a hit or two of curry but Negril!! they don't skimp on the heavy-handed curry that curry flavor is all through there honey lemme tell you!! Don't go anywhere else lol, the curry, the Rice & peas! The side of cabbage it's seasoned and cooked just right!! The portions are hefty so I ate some and saved the rest!!. The Roti Skin was tough or stale idk but wasn't soft or easily to pull apart as this was my first time trying from Negril. I just love this sandwich! It's one of my favorites: jerk chicken sandwich on coco bread, with the dark meat chicken, a little bit of lettuce, and some poppyseed dressing. I love everything about this sandwich. All of the flavors just make me so happy. There's a little sweetness from the bread, a little spice from the jerk chicken, and a little tang from the dressing. Everything together just tastes so good. I don't think there's a sandwich I wouldn't eat if you just put it on coco bread. I also had a side of cabbage & some ginger beer. Yum! It's been a while since I've been to Negril. The last time I came here was pre-Covid. They've gotten a little fancy with the ordering system. I called in my order and they took my phone number. They said the order would take 10 to 15 minutes. As I was driving to get my order I got a text that said my order was being packaged up. Okaaaaaaaay! Out of all the Negril I've visited this one has been my favorite. Irs clean, the customer service is spectacular. It doesn't matter if I'm ordering in person, via phone they're always pleasant. It was easy to order in store and I waited probably about 10-15 min before it was all ready.
