My mother loves them too, but when got there, they were still warm enough for her (she doesn't like them as hot as I do, I like them scolding) so they do travel well. I have had their subs there before too and they are great, also full in size so the point where Ben and I normally share 1 sub between the two of us. As for a realistic cheesesteak compared to a Philly cheesesteak, I'd say it's close but not precise, the roll was fresh but not today fresh and the seasoning was good but not Philly good. Well, a manager left me a message, I called back but have yet to hear back again & it's been 2 weeks. I really want to patronize steak & shake. I really don't want them to go under. And it comes as Double (2 sliders), triple or a quad. I ordered the double with waffle fries and a coke. I did wait a short while, there was a line at the drive-thru when I arrived but not long. As I waited I looked around and found it odd they the walls were empty. I would expect a TV or a monitor with some on, nothing. I was called and I got my food. Whether you eat in or take out, it comes in a bag. no tray. First thing I was surprised by the fries, don't really prefer the waffle fry but these were done really good. Crispier than others. And the burgers were a good size for being a slider. And as another one said they were done right. I had LMO on mine with cheese. It was good burger and fry. As I sat there and ate some others sat as well and I over heard one say something about condiments and napkins. Although I did get napkins with I'm a ketchup person so I didn't notice at first.
