I haven't been able to order from Wendy's at this location in quite some time. When a family member wanted it, I checked and it was an option so we ordered a taco salad and a Dave's triple meal. When I arrived, there was a short line at the drive thru, but it still took some time to get up front. I didn't notice until I already left the place that they didn't give me all of my items. Kind of a typical Espanola fast food experience, even though I try to order online to minimize mistakes. I ordered my food and the person was very nice and respectful, they were quick and efficient, although it took them some time to cook the chicken, but since the wait was so long the guy working gave me free nuggets, which was great and they didn't have Oreos but he recommended the brownie batter and it was delicious. But usually when I do go it's not as great as that one visit, it's usually filled with mean employees and they take forever, but hopefully that one visit was them pulling this place back together, or at least I hope so. read more

I ordered a cobb salad. They didnt give me a fork. When I asked for one, the worker gave me a spoon and said we dont have any forks. How do I eat a salad with a spoon?! Employees rude too. The manager said the delivery truck comes next Thursday and they will have forks then. Seriously? read more

Clean dining room, custom burger made to order and napkins available in the dining room. Seems strange to say but that's not normal anymore. Nice to see available napkins for those of us who make a mess when eating. Drink refills are behind the counter. Burger was good. read more

I just went to Wendy's to get chicken nuggets for my kids and when they gave me the food noticed the nuggets were spicy nuggets my children will not eat. When I informed them of their error THEY OFFERED TO CHARGE ME FOR ANOTHER ORDER I told them I'm not paying for another order as I'm not taking the spicy nuggets my kids won't eat and they refused to replace them saying spicy nuggets were on my receipt. THAT WAS NOT MY ERROR this man said he's the GM and his crew has a98% accuracy rating because they are trained well... they got my order wrong and tried to charge me more for it! read more

Whoever manages this Wendy's should be ashamed of themselves. I placed a mobile order and they completely messed it up. This is the third time in the last two months they have ruined my order. Today I ordered a Big Bacon Classic Double and they gave me only a single patty. I ordered this burger and a couple of others with out mayo and they put mayo in them. What a hilarious experience! When I got here there were 3 customers in front of me. This location has at least 10 employees on site which judging by the crowd and the small orders should be plenty to handle the "rush". I must have stood in line for a good 15 minutes before it was my turn. While I was in line 2 different customers came in to have drive through orders corrected. As I waited the store manager chose to bus tables in a dining room that was already clean. Afterwards she needed to use the restroom. The person at the counter seemed nice but mumbled when she spoke making her hard to understand. When the manager returned she apologized for the long wait. The funny part was that the whole time I was in line there was a table of city workers - I think garbage collectors heckling me. Sheesh! read more

Where do I start...I went for breakfast one morning; there was a car in front of me and behind me. I stayed in line for about 5 minutes, finally it was my turn to order and I was given a list of items that they were out of, so I was not able to place an order. I went back about a week later, thinking that maybe the shipments were run late last visit and to give them another try. On the website they state they open at 6:30 am. It was after 6:30, I drove up and the lights were on along with the menu board. There was no one in site. I don't know why this place is even open. read more

I arrived at 10:05 (5 minutes after opening time) and found the doors locked. I looked through the window and saw workers back in the food-prep area - but they didn't notice me. Sitting at the table by the window was our local professional panhandler (complete with his "Homeless, God Bless" sign). At 10:10 a Wendy's worker showed up but couldn't get in. At 10:15 two more workers showed up and they opened the doors (the homeless guy had left by this time). The fries were luke warm and soggy. The burger had a HUGE slice of tomato - making it more of a tomato sandwich than a burger and the iced tea had no ice. We were going to get some food through the drive thru but I had to go to the bathroom so I had my husband let me out. I go in a realize the bathroom doors are locked, so I went up to the lady at the counter and asked to use the restroom. She said I had to buy something and I told her we were going to get food at the drive through. She proceeds to question me and ask who we is in a rude manner. I guess this Wendy's thinks they can make there salads the way they want. We ordered 2 salads. The Cobb was lacking blue cheese. The chicken pecan had no blue cheese and and was pure iceberg lettuce. I have had these salads at many other Wendy's and have been very happy. I spoke with the manager and was told that they only give blue cheese upon request. I had never had to ask before. The manager said that the lettuce was not mixed properly. She did offer me 2 salads when I come in next time. read more

This is one of the worst Wendy's I've ever seen. An embarrassment to the franchise. Despite multiple employees behind the counter, I waited in line for 20 min before giving up. Several others waiting in line also gave up. Despite the fact that the line really started growing both inside and outside at the drive through, the dozen or so incompetent employees showed a remarkable lack of concern. Or even awareness. Probably the best tasting fast food in Española, not very well managed but it's better than McDonalds and I'll give them that. Food was great and the fries were just extraordinary, I've never come here with the problem of them forgetting to salt my fries. This place is overshadowed by the more modern fast food restaurants but if you give it a chance then they might have enough money to rebuild and become better, maybe even relocate from the location they're at now. I feel this place is underrated and should be brought back to its former glory. If people would go there more often then they can get the economy of the restaurant start to get better, people get robbed there by miserable crack addicts but if more people start to go there then the addicts would be forced to relocate to a less populated area in town and maybe just leave the place alone in all. I feel Wendy's can be one of the great fast food restaurants in the area read more

This place is horrible I waited outside for at least 10mins just to be told that I couldn't enter the restaurant because they were short staff how is that my fault? Yesterday, I went to wendy's and the cashier did not return my debit card or provide a receipt. I realized before I even left the parking lot that my card was not returned. I came back around the drive thru within 5 minutes to get through the traffic of the drive thru. When I got to the window again the employee stated it was shift change and he didn't know where my card was. He politely took my number, said he would call if found. I checked my account on mobile and I had two charges to netflix. I don't have Netflix. I locked my card while in the parking lot. I called to talk to the manager as I was just passing thru espanola. He did not provide his name and said they did not find my card but would call if they did. After an hour a person named Eliza called to let me know they "found" my card. If you eat here pay cash. Do not use your card information here or you may have charges that you did not make. read more

BEWARE! It was about 11:30 on a Tuesday, me and my boyfriend went through the drive through and ordered our food. When we got to the window we handed my debit card to pay and about 5 minutes later (after waiting for them to return my card) they said that their internet wasnt working and they couldn't process the order. Having no cash, we left. The next day I checked my bank account and saw they charged me anyways!! So I printed out the report and took it to them, the "manager" (which I later learned wasnt the manager) said the girl with glasses at the window possibly pocketed my money. I want to really think that the owner of this store would want to know & in addition the Wendys Corp... this was a horrible experience, Let me first say the staff was Awesome!! Our food was the problem, the lettuce was the bottom of the barrel, the white this part of the lettuce head & not only that but a small piece, the tomato was wilted & almost pale pink, the fries were dry & appeared to be sitting there for a while before put in our bag.
