Worst experience ever from this Wendys location in Franklin. My wife and I came in the morning to have breakfast,the Hispanic lady stood us up for over 10mins beacause she was eating her food from burger king and was also in a conversation with her co worker; I called her attention twice but she didn't flip,only for me to hear them speak Spanish to themselves little did they know my wife was Hispanic, saying we were too old to be eating fast food. The service at this location is the absolute worst ! They have multiple employees on staff yet no one takes your order while you're standing in front of them for at least 5 mins. Ordered spicy nuggets and a burger that was supposed to be plain. As far as I am concerned, plain means no toppings. When I received my food, the burger had cheese on it. I brought it back, informed someone behind the counter that the burger had cheese on it, and I could not eat it as I am lactose intolerant. The person who appears to be the one making the food began having an attitude and making snarky comments about me behind my back and saying things like "well they didn't say no cheese, they just said plain". There were some people who ordered after me, and the mockery continued. She made the same comment about the next people saying "make sure they want cheese on it or not". I'm usually not a person to write reviews like this, but to not only mess up an order and then give the customer lip and make comments about them behind their backs is something else. We are regular customers of Wendy's. We had a problem with the Chile about 2 years ago and told the manager we ordered 2 large chili cups. Very disappointed when we got home. The large chilis only were filled half way up. Told the manager he said it would not happen again. It happened 2 other times after he promised. Today on June 3. Now that prices of chili have almost doubled. Same thing happened the cups were only half full again. I tried calling Wendy's in Franklin and they would not accept any phone calls. Once at order box, told to wait 3x for another 5 mins each (another 15 minutes total) as I finally say hello on the 4th time told them out loud to the box that ordered via app and just here to pick up my order. Told to wait, then 4 mins, then later told to move to window. There's a wait AT THE WINDOW, 5 mins more. All along seen 7 cars leave the line. Nephew wanted Wendy burger and fries so.... I dealt with the wait. The pandemic has changed the way fast food does business. On the outside looks like nothing has changed. I walked inside due to long drive up line. Now I know why people don't want to go inside. Its likea step back in time. #1) flies allover the register area. #2) No uniforms, so you don't know if you're being served by an actual employees or a thieves. #3) No Air Conditioner. They are so nice there. They always compliment my dogs whenever they happen to be in my car. Today my drink spilled all over my car because I didn't make sure it was in right, so I went to buy another and they replaced it for free! Very kind of them to do. People who leave bad reviews don't know how difficult fast food is to work at especially when you now have to wear a mask all day. This is one of the worst Wendy's that I have come across. Unfortunately they are the only one in a 20 mile radius. Two visits in a row I was charged for an order which was incorrectly filled and as a result was overcharged. In both cases the Dave's singles were inedible. One time the bun was soaked with grease in a way that I have not seen from a fast food spot in my 40 years of eating fast food hamburgers. Avoid if you can. read more

If there were a "Zero" stars option, this would be its worthy recipient. I cannot actually comment on this establishments food. When we opened the door the stench of rancid meat slapped us in the face. We thought at first it might have been some strange smell from wet rugs in the foyer, but as we approached the ordering line, the smell only grew more aggressive. I haven't been one to complain about food service, as I work in retail and understand the toils of customer service. But this morning I woke up to another bout of nausea and eventually vomiting from the third batch of SEVERELY undercooked fries this season. For about a year now I've been going on late-night Wendy's runs with my friends when we do game nights. The last three times I had to run to the bathroom at 6am because of undercooked food. I've had problems fairly often too, messed up orders, accidental overcharges, etc. But I usually looked past that because I knew what boat the employees were in.
