We'd been wanting to go and try Wendy's breakfast since forever, and today we decided to finally do it for real. We initially thought about going to the one in West Dublin area but going east-bound from that location was always a little bit of pain, so we decided to visit this store in Livermore. This location was conveniently right off the Airway exit and was easy to spot. The entrance to the drive thru was a bit hidden though; you'd have to kinda drive around the back to find it, but it wasn't a big deal. Now, the food: - Classic Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich: they called the bun a breakfast roll, but to me it was Wendy's version of an English muffin. It was thick yet soft, and inside they put a fresh-cracked egg, grilled sausage and melted American cheese. It was pretty good. 500 calories. - Sausage, Egg & Swiss Croissant: Pretty much similar to the first one but here they used a flaky croissant bun instead - soft, buttery and yummy - and they used swiss cheese sauce. So to me this was more delicious than the first one. 600 calories. - Breakfast Baconator: this is I think their ultimate breakfast items. On it, you'd find grilled sausage, American cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, and a fresh-cracked egg. Oh they they put more cheese and more bacon all covered in swiss cheese sauce. So obvi it was hecka delicious! They used their regular burger bun for this sandwich. Each bite was heaven. 730 calories. - Seasoned Potatoes: delicious perfectly fried potato wedges seasoned with black pepper and garlic. They were awesome. read more

This location seems to be slipping. Listening is apparently not among the required skills for the drive-up. Today, light ice was a cup full of ice with almost no soda. Sweet and Sour sauce for the chicken nuggets wound up being BBQ sauce. There was no ketchup for the French Fries. Half the French Fries were orange - I don't know what that means but I'm afraid to eat them. It is quite convenient to get your gas and grab a quick consistent bite of food while you're waiting. A typical burger meal is between 8 and $10 we also had a stuffed baked potato which was about $3 all of it was well-prepared presented beautifully and worth the money. read more

I WISH THERE WAS A "ZERO STARS" CHOICE! I've had several issues with this location in the past, but this last one takes the cake. I will NEVER eat at this location again. I went to the drive through to order our food, and I think that was something I should have thought bvb twice about before doing. Because, like Joe Pesci said....."they eff you in the drive through!". There was only 1 car in front of us, so obviously it wasn't a busy night.but we were in line for over 20 minutes. As we were ordering, the person taking our order told us to "hold on" at least 3 times. When he finally took our order, I had to repeat it 4 times. Then, some other person working there, also started speaking almost at the same time; asking for our order. So at one point, I'm speaking to both of them alternatively. This caused all kinds of confusion. Next, came the fiasco at the window when we were picking up the order. They left half of the order off, so when we received the bag, 1 of the meals was missing. When we brought it to the attention of the person's attention, he did apologize. We give him the receipt back to show him it was incorrect, he charged us for the other meal; but when we asked for the receipt again he said he couldn't find it. So, he lost it in about 1 minute. At this point, the other person who started taking our order joined him and added more confusion. They were going back and forth about procedures, and the order taking, and about how to reprint the receipt, etc. After finally getting it right, we received both meals and finally left; OVER 20 minutes later. If you're looking to eat at Wendy's, AVOID THIS ONE AND VISIT ANOTHER LOCATION. This one is the worst and has gone downhill over time. But I guess that's my fault for trusting them again after being disappointed in the past. It won't happen again though; I guarantee that. read more

I am giving one star for the one time they have got our order right and the manager at the window was nice. I cannot eat wheat or dairy. I don't usually have an issue with cross contamination. If you like eating at gas stations your in for a treat. This shares the lobby of a gas station for some added ambiance. Connected with a Chevron is this Wendys. I tend to like dining among travelers on the interstate because I find them more interesting than at neighborhood type places. People going places are always more interesting than ones that just sit around, right? Outdoor seating, a shared bathroom with Chevron, lots of pine trees and parking... what else can I say? Ambiance of the dining room is actually incredible. They really did something special in designing a peaceful place to have your Jr Bacon Cheeseburger. It is a safe distance from the chaos of the kitchen yet there is still interest of overlooking the gas station mini mart. Lets talk about the frosty here. You can choose either vanilla or chocolate and its not like a milk shake nor is it like soft serve... its somewhere in the middle and requires a spoon. I do like these and they are so inexpensive. Food was good and prepared quickly. I think the overpriced fuel draws people in to what is likely an impulse purchase of food. read more

Made me and my partner sick. He had chicken strips and a chicken sandwich and I had a baked potato and a sandwich without meat just the bun lettuce cheese but I ordered it that way The meal was served piping hot so I don't think it was any pathogens in there or uncleanliness . The bun did not taste the same as it has for years but that is the only difference. We were sick off and on for 2 days. It might just be a change of ingredients that didn't set right with us but this Wendy's was one of my go to places over 10 years ago and never had a problem so yeah It's weird. I went in the morning before I had class because I was relatively hungry for something quick and greasy, so Wendy's of course came to mind. I hadn't been here in 7 years. I sat in the drive thru for about 5-6 minutes without being greeted before deciding it was just plain ridiculous and I could be using that time to go to the starbucks across the overpass. Pull up to window, she hands me the plastic bucket to put my cards in without ever turning her head to acknowledge or greet me. Face glued to her register. 3. Never asked me about sauce so I had to ask her. Gives me two sauces while still never looking at me, one fell to the ground because she wasn't looking. 4. Asked me what drink for the kid's meal, but it was never included. Only noticed once I got home. 5. Roasted Pecan Salad - Never got the pecans. If the manager(s) is/are reading this, focus on workers that have at least a BARE MINIMUM of customer service skills. Greeting/acknowledging the customer is expected with each interaction. They don't know how to make frosties. My girlfriend had one for the first time and she hated them completely because of this restaurant. They made it watery and almost like a milky icee or slurpee. She said it was the grossest thing she's ever had and she didn't know why people liked them so much. Had to convince her to try it again somewhere else and she's in love with them now. Some how, somewhere here they just don't care and that's a shame. I get you're making minimum wage, but that's no excuse. But the blame isn't in the employees.
