Coming into a fast good restaurant, you know your expectations can't be too high. This particular Wendy's occupies the same space as a Chevron food mart, so automatically you're a bit taken aback. That being said, it looks like a regular Wendy's on the left. This place is absolutely ruined by the atrocious service. The man taking the order could barely say more than two words, and was extremely unfriendly. He also appeared to be under the influence of some drug. He looked "on the nod" the whole time. Our three person party made a simple order. Once it came up, I asked for sauce to go with the chicken nuggets. The guy looked at me like I was crazy, and stared at me for almost 20 seconds. I got a bit uncomfortable. Finally he responded and gave me the sauce. I sit down, only to realize that they forgot our order of French fries. We only got one order of fries. I walked back to the counter and told the guy he forgot our fries. He again looked at me like I was absolutely insane, and then responded, "Are you sure?" Our table was directly in front of the counter, and he could clearly see we had no fries. Even though we were the only ones there, and no one had come up in between us ordering and receiving our food, he couldn't remember if we had ordered the fries! It happened like 1 minute prior!! I had to go back and get the receipt from my other party member. Suffice it to say, I'd never come back here. There's just no reason to. If I wanted crappy service and being treated like I was outside of my mind, I'd ask for food from random homeless people. read more

Okay I really appreciated this Wendy's and the lady who was working the takeout window. We pulled up and mentioned we weren't ready yet. We had four of us and we all wanted different values of chicken nuggets off their value menu. It sounded super confusing and we even changed some of the chicken nugget values. We also added other items to our order. Some of our changes didn't even make sense. Yet though it all, our server didn't show she was frustrated with us when I know I would forsure be frustrated with us. We received our order in a very reasonable amount of time and our order was perfect through all of that confusion. No fast food restaurant has as good chicken nuggets as Wendy's. They really are the best and taste actually cooked and not microwaved. I'm a fan of their sweet and sour dipping sauce with my nuggets and fries. I always get a chocolate small frosty too. Wendy's isn't my regular haunt for meals by a long shot, but for something quick, predictable and portable (can't easily eat a pizza or a yummy Cattlemen's entree on the go, right?), Wendy's is a decent option, and my go-to if I'm in the neighborhood. Both drive-thru and in-store (built into the now Chevron station, having converted from a Shell a few months back) are on par in terms of service, speed and order accuracy. Never had a problem with the food or my orders, either. Could it be better? Most anything could. But for a paper napkin and a menu that has a florescent light behind it, it's just fine. read more

I applaud Wendy's for having gluten free choices. Being able to grab a baked potato on the go is pretty convenient. This place is one of those fast food joints where the drive through is the better choice. The inside is also the gas station stop so it's kinda strange in there as far as sitting to eat. The attitude of the non-English speaking workers at this particular Wendy's location is absolutely terrible. I used to go here all the time...at least three to five times a week. It's not that their food was spectacular or anything of the sort...it's greasy and small in portion, but it's fast food after all, so you don't really expect much to begin with. I would put up with the employees' crap just so I could get some quick, cheap eats. After one event though, I just never went back. Read on... There used to be a semi-English speaking worker that may still be there. She was an older - maybe 50-something - worker with long, black curly hair that went down the length of her back. She was short too...maybe 5 foot, tops. She had the worst attitude of all of them, and she was the one running the register when I walked inside that day. I ordered my usual. Upon receiving the order, the frosty was in the wrong sized cup. Concerned that I was overcharged for the order, I checked my receipt (yeah, i'm cheap, so what?!?) and then went up to this (not-so-ladylike) lady to resolve the issue. This was a simple misunderstanding that required only a small, quick resolution...a miscommunication that could and does happen on a daily basis at any retail operation. HOWEVER, rather than simply resolving the issue, in front of all the other customers, she threw an attitude fit. Instead of simply refunding the money and replacing the incorrect item, she took the frosty that had already been given to me, the customer, opened it and proceeded to grab another cup, squeeze the old frosty into the new cup with her dirty (because she had been handling the money and the register) hands, put another top onto the "new" frosty and handed it back to me with the heavily-accented statement, "See? It's the same thing." Now, let's decipher what went wrong here. Let's ignore the obvious element of a serious attitude issue for the moment and look at it from strictly a food safety perspective. It is a common sense issue here...one should never take a food item that has already been issued to a customer and re-issue it. The old item should be discarded and a new item should be provided. I've had quite a bit of experience in food service, as I used to work in every aspect of a military mess hall and was subject to the harshest regulations. If you get one of Uncle Sam's soldiers sick, you can literally be prosecuted for the value of that soldier...and with good reason. The civilian world, of course, has far less regulations. Especially in fast food though, there should be some sort of mandatory requirement that all employees at the very minimum take a ServSafe course, since many of them may have never worked in the food service industry before. In short, a terrible experience that ended my fascination with the Wendy's chain. It's probably for the better though since their food isn't exactly what one might call high quality or healthy. This is just my experience, so take from it what you will. But if you combine it with the other Yelp reviews for this location, you may begin to see a pattern forming. read more

I wish there was a option for no stars...oh well. I went to have a snack here about 2 pm on a Tuesday. I was waiting for someone at the golf cource nearby and had about a hour to kill so thought this place would be a good choice. I thought inside this place had Wendys, a gas station and a Baskin Robbins. There is No Baskin Robbins, oh well I will have wendys. THe place looked sorta dirty but oh well, lunch rushed just ended. I got a chicken sandwich and a coke. It was fine nothing great, i ate half, the table was sticky. I thought something nice and cool sounded good and that i would eat it in the car. I ordered a small frosty. I gave the lady a 5, she gave me 60 cents back. I brought it (nicely) to her attention that I only got coins back and was missing three dollars, showed her the receipt. She said no, "i always put in more than the person gives me,it would be all day i be here if i put in actual amounts, no time for that!" umm ok, weird! The manager walked over and was listening, I asked if she was sure because i know how much money I had and i am missing a five not two dollars. She once again said that if i had given her a five she would have put in 10, what the heck !?! The manager didnt say a word and walked away. So i told her if that is the way she does things she sould tell her customers. hmmm so i quietly walk away to get a spoon and leave. I look over and she is helping a customer, they give her a 20 and she says im putting in a 20 and giving you change, they look funny at her she looks over at me and said to the people "some crazy lady says i need to tell people what im doing" and then laughs. I leave. I call the next day and talk to that same manager,he remember the situation and thought the cashier resolved it. I told him about the crazy part and he asked if it was in spanish or english that she said it, i said english but why does that matter, he had no answer? He just said well sorry I will talk to her.....not great customer relations. Not that I wanted a free meal but you would have thought he would have made a gesture with some sorta coupon. I've only been here on several ocassions, and here's what went wrong each time: i) flies everywhere, and the staff made no attempt to shoo them away from the food; ii) drivethru says 24 hours, but it was closed at midnight; iii) they gave me regular (ew) nuggets when I ordered spicy; iv) my sister noticed the menu items are priced higher than other locations. Like other poor reviews here, we always have a problem with unpleasant staff and lazy service. Chili is often luke warm (indicating late, lazy preparation and can get customers sick), they forget sauces for chicken nuggets. Today, Sarah was obnoxious, provided rude service and was passive aggressive in ignoring me when I came up for a drink refill. Most staff here appear unhappy, lazy and just miserable with their jobs. Its a hit or miss with who's working the register and I must say one of the worst Wendy's I've been to. The quality compared to the one I live near is nowhere close. Dear Wendy's, Although you are not my favorite fast food joint, you are the closest to my work, which is a bonus for yourself when I need food in a hurry. I usually use the drive through, and I enjoy the timer, which usually confirms that from order to driving away, it's always under 3 minutes. Whoever works at the window during lunch hour is always pleasant. One request though- take the speed bumps out of your parking lot behind the hotel driveway- they jack up the alignment on my car. I came here while gassing up and ordered a vanilla frosty to go, as a treat for my daughter. The idiot at the counter overfills the cup so now the ice cream is heaping way over the top of it. She says "oops" and tries to cover it with a lid anyway! Which then makes the frosty blow out way over the edge and start rolling down the sides. She then pushes the lid shut and tries to hand me the cup with the sides covered and dripping in melting frosty! I give her a shocked look like "you're not seriously telling me to go put that in my car's cupholder just like that, are you?" She just turns around and goes into the back room.
