How is it possible that no matter what time of day one arrives, the drive in line is not only long, but comes with the wait time that is only experienced elsewhere at the DMV? Genius way of getting around that pesky timer that would expose your slothful ways! Every time I come here I get more and more disappointed... Willowbrook Mall's Wendy's has such better chilli & even better customer service. I came today to get 3 large chillis with shredded cheese, a Dave's single, a small fry, and another drink... not only was I cut off in the middle of ordering through the drive thru, when I got to the window to pay I asked the girl to read back my order and she only took half my order then had the audacity to giggle and smirk at me when I continued to add on the items she missed. When I approached the second window to receive my food I checked to make sure everything I ordered was in the bag and I wasn't given crackers or utensils for my food so I said excuse me twice to which I was ignored by three associates who thought finishing their conversation whilst giggling was more important than customer servicing me. So I came here before meeting up with friends because I was craving a frosty and didn't have dinner yet. I came inside and was heading towards the line when a lady literally cut right in front of me without saying excuse me or anything. Jeez. What a blow. Anyways, while I was waiting in line, a guy left the line to go back to his seat ( I guess he didnt' want to wait any longer) but once the cashier person was finished with the two ladies in front of me, she calls out to the guy and asked him what he wanted. So two people in turn, basically cut me. Rude. Usually this wouldn't affect me but the cashier person was incredibly slow and I waited a good 15 minutes before I could order when there were only 3 people in front of me (2 who cut me). My daughter and I showed up to her swim practice in Ridgewood an hour early and so we decided to leave and get breakfast. I decided to make the 5 minute drive over here instead of going the extra mile to their highway store in Paramus, and hoped we could sit down to a nice, unhurried meal. However, there were quite a number of red flags at this Wendy's, and not just the two pennants outside proclaiming their breakfast service. The first happened even before I arrived: the soonest time I could schedule my mobile breakfast order was 90 minutes away. The second is their outdoor sign and building: they have not been updated. The third was that the dining room was locked, and, from this and the first hint, tells me they are short staffed. (Psst! This is going to take forever!!) When I got to the speaker, it took a bit of time for them to acknowledge me and then excruciatingly long to convey my two sandwich (one "no cheese"), two drink (chocolate milk... and large coffee with three cream..., "Cream & sugar?" No. Do you have Equal... or Splenda? "Yes" Four Equal), two Jr. Frosty order over to them. And, indeed, one vehicle two cars behind me decided to bail. At the window, I waited to get my app scanned and my credit card taken (while watching the assembly of my drinks and a new coffee being brewed (why not do that ahead of time?)... "What did you want in it?? We only have Sweet & Low.") Well, after about 15-20 minutes in a drive-thru line with only about three cars in it, we finally received our order. And got back to swim with only 10 minutes to spare. At least our order was hot, fresh, and accurate. I did not receive a receipt, but my credit card statement indicates that the amount is about expected. I figure that they are not giving them out because the feedback on TalkToWendys.com would be too scathing. tldr: unit needs a reboot and reinvestment in its building and in its staff. This place has been going down hill the last few years. They never get your order right, inside or out!!! I was here 3 days ago. I was being helped by the a blue shirt manager(older women) took my order and I had to waited and watched as she helped run food for the customers on the next register. This was happening while the cashier was starring at her customer right in the face the whole time. The blue shirt wouldn't allow her to run and get her own customers food. I had to wait for fries as she added more frying oil to the fryer and won't allow the guy who clearly was running the fryer up till that point, to run it. She was doing this mind you, after she had already had dumped fresh fries under the lamp. I finally got my meal. Now, I wasn't mad at this point! I got mad when I noticed my sandwich was missing the Bacon I ordered on it!!! This isn't the first time this has happened. It always happens during late night drive thru runs after a long days work. Their 4 for $4 is the definition of "you get what you pay for." Lint and little hairs were on almost every French Fry, on one of my nuggets, and even in the mayo on my Crispy Chicken BLT! I felt as if they dropped my whole order on the ground and just put it back into my bag. This isn't the first time my 4 for 4 was messed up, but as a worker in the food service I understand that mistakes happen. However, if there's that much lint and disgusting hair in my food then I have to draw a line. Not only was there lint in my food but the bun looks like it got shredded or manhandled on the way to the wrapper it was put in. This is not about how friendly they are, this is about how EVERY time I order at the drive-thru my order is always missing something.
