I've been coming to this Wendy's for decades. Today it should be a model of what a fast food restaurant should be. The workers are super fast and always get my order perfect. They seem like they have 20 people crammed in the back hustling to get your food to you in seconds. The store is clean even thought gets crowded. First time at a Wendy's restaurant, and I didn't have such a good experience, especially with the cashier. There was this woman named Reannan who took my order, and she had this attitude towards me. I told her what I wanted, and she kept making comments about the order. It even took her awhile to put it in the system. It was JUST a Dave's Single. I pulled out my coupon from my mobile phone, and she began casually chatting with her other employees, like getting my order wasn't a big deal. Then, I spoke up clearly multiple times that I was paying with my debit card, but she kept saying, "What? What?" Finally, I pulled at my debit card, and she finally understood what I was saying. She rules with a iron fist and disciplines and writes up her staff on spot and yes in front of customers. You don't hear customer's chatting, you hear her telling her staff to hurry up. The most modern, clean and overall nicest Wendy's I've ever seen by far. They have one of those new fancy soda dispensing machines with a touch screen that lets you make great soda combos, and they even have wi-fi for people with stupid Verizon and limited data packages. The faux fireplace was interesting but I suppose it could be a nice touch for people to relax by as they're using the free internet. The food speaks for itself and the fact that they are still the only fast food chain that allows you to choose your sides is ridiculous. This location is long overdue for a review. The exceptional service I received on my last visit inspired me to finally leave feedback. I've always received good service and food here at this location, but my last two visits have been especially good. I was blessed to have been helped both times by Latina (sounds like La-Teena). Although I've only spoken to her through the drive thru speaker, I imagine she's very cheery and thoughtful as that's how she comes across in my brief interactions with her. Especially in these times when everyone is frustrated with masks, isolation, confinement, it's so refreshing to come across someone so chipper in an unexpected way. And I find myself in the same predicament with this particular employee. I came to the restaurant drive thru on a Saturday night around 6:30-7:00pm. I asked if I can substitute my fries for a baked potato and the worker asked me which potato. I didn't hear her so I asked for the baked potato again and she goes, "which potato?" But with the most disgusting attitude ever. No one asked for her attitude. It's upsetting to still have this particular employee take orders when her attitude is the worst. No body is forcing her to work at Wendy's. Wendy's used to provide professional, RESPECTFUL service. I wasn't able to get the employees name because the cashier said she wasn't allowed to give out names. I don't know if she was even being truthful because when your writing a review, you can ask for names. But I did get a description of her. Wendy's! It's been awhile since they did the rustic renovations, but I'd like to point out that this is still a really nice looking restaurant. I really like the quality of the food here. I believe the drive through is open pretty late night, but they will definitely ignore you at the ordering machine if you come here on foot trying to get food. The milkshakes are good and great for fry dipping if that's your thing. They also have one of those snazzy soda machines where you can get all the flavors, and mints at the front counter. For some inexplicable reason, despite the fact that I was the only person in the drive through, I was asked to find parking in the plaza and food would be brought to me. What is this, Sonic? If I wanted that I would have gone to Sonic, Claudia (the manager that gave the order to Anni). It took me longer to find a parking spot than for them to make the order. She suggested a non-spot because a vehicle parked over the lines so it was more like a half spot. Are you trying to get me into an accident? She said I was asked so I "didn't have to wait in the drive through" which makes absolutely no sense considering it took them less time to make it (Anni was waiting for me outside and I had to park and walk) than for me to find parking at this hour in the plaza. This order from management is absolutely ridiculous and lacking in any common sense or basic intelligence and reasoning skills. I have never, ever had such a drive through experience and I will be taking my business elsewhere with basic competency levels who can handle a single vehicle's order. I've always said that this Wendy's has the best service of any we've ever been too, but now they've surpassed themselves! The new remodel is gorgeous!!! Seriously, check out the pictures!!! There's even a comfy seating area with faux fireplace and cable TV! Between the new reopen and being a Friday night, the restaurant was packed when we went and we still managed to get our food before we even sat down! (Although I was taking my time admiring the new drink machine with it's insane beverage selection - see pics.) My potato was still steaming! Seriously, this may be the BEST Wendy's in the country!!!! I love this place so much, I grew up in monrovia and have loved this place since I was little, but we came here at 2 am. Our experience was the worst. I've had a great experience every time I come to this Wendy's during my lunch break. The food is fresh & comes out hot. The naturally-cut potatoes that are seasoned with sea salt are always crispy, fresh & hot. The burger patties are juicy & flavorful & the cheese that they use is just oooey gooey goodness! I most recently tried the Bacon Portabella Mushroom burger on a buttery brioche bun, which was one of the most flavorful & delicious burgers that I've had in awhile & it was just under $5 bucks! It tasted like a gourmet burger to me. Their new grilled all-white-meat chicken flatbread sandwiches are really good & come in two flavors, Asiago Ranch & Smoky Honey Mustard. I'm a ranch lover so I usually pick the Asiago Ranch flavor when I get this sandwich. It comes with chicken, spring mix, sliced tomatoes, natural Asiago cheese, apple-smoked bacon, & Asiago flavored ranch all wrapped up in five-grain toasted flatbread. The Smoky Honey Mustard flatbread is good as well, but a little on the sweeter side obviously because of the sauce. I like the texture and flavor of the flatbread that they use for these two sandwiches. I've even ordered their burgers using the flatbread instead of the buns for a little bit of a lighter option.
