First time at a Wendy's restaurant, and I didn't have such a good experience, especially with the cashier. There was this woman named Reannan who took my order, and she had this attitude towards me. I told her what I wanted, and she kept making comments about the order. It even took her awhile to put it in the system. It was JUST a Dave's Single. I pulled out my coupon from my mobile phone, and she began casually chatting with her other employees, like getting my order wasn't a big deal. Then, I spoke up clearly multiple times that I was paying with my debit card, but she kept saying, "What? What?" Finally, I pulled at my debit card, and she finally understood what I was saying. My order came out within less than 5 minutes. She rules with a iron fist and disciplines and writes up her staff on spot and yes in front of customers. You don't hear customer's chatting, you hear her telling her staff to hurry up. And I find myself in the same predicament with this particular employee. I came to the restaurant drive thru on a Saturday night around 6:30-7:00pm. The most modern, clean and overall nicest Wendy's I've ever seen by far. They have one of those new fancy soda dispensing machines with a touch screen that lets you make great soda combos, and they even have wi-fi for people with stupid Verizon and limited data packages. The faux fireplace was interesting but I suppose it could be a nice touch for people to relax by as they're using the free internet. The food speaks for itself and the fact that they are still the only fast food chain that allows you to choose your sides is ridiculous. This location is long overdue for a review. The exceptional service I received on my last visit inspired me to finally leave feedback. I've always received good service and food here at this location, but my last two visits have been especially good. I was blessed to have been helped both times by Latina (sounds like La-Teena). Although I've only spoken to her through the drive thru speaker, I imagine she's very cheery and thoughtful as that's how she comes across in my brief interactions with her. Especially in these times when everyone is frustrated with masks, isolation, confinement, it's so refreshing to come across someone so chipper in an unexpected way. Wendy's! It's been awhile since they did the rustic renovations, but I'd like to point out that this is still a really nice looking restaurant. I really like the quality of the food here. I believe the drive through is open pretty late night, but they will definitely ignore you at the ordering machine if you come here on foot trying to get food. The milkshakes are good and great for fry dipping if that's your thing. They also have one of those snazzy soda machines where you can get all the flavors, and mints at the front counter. For some inexplicable reason, despite the fact that I was the only person in the drive through, I was asked to find parking in the plaza and food would be brought to me. What is this, Sonic? Wendy's happens to be one of the few fast food franchises i enjoy. From the crispy clean lettuce on their Jr. bacon cheeseburgers to their wonderful strawberry lemonade. 9 times out of 10, I am greeted with a smiling VOICE in the driv-thru line. BUT tonight was down right rude. I pulled up to the drive-thru ordering speaker, placed my first order than asked for a second order. I waited about 5 seconds before i had to repeat myself to the speak " I would like to place a second order". I was than greeted with a " yeah, go ahead with your second order". so i placed my second order and drove up to the window. Before i handed over my debit card to the cashier i asked 'who was taking the drive-thru orders?" the same girl that was about to take my payment was the same employee who took my order, even better i asked Adriene Lopez if it was a problem that i wanted to place a second order and she quickly said "no" in a rushed tone. Adriene than continued to take other orders and handed me my card back. Once i was given all of my food, I was not told to have a nice day and EVERYONE in the KITCHEN was breaking their neck to take a look at me. UMMMM i wonder why ? Here is why, Ill break it down to you ( I worked in fast food for 3 years from the ages of 16 to 18) -I must of BUGGED Miss. Lopez by asking for a second order. Considering her tone. -Miss. Lopez WANTED me to know that i bothered her because she intentionally CHANGED her tone once i asked for a second order and she spoke to me like i was her peer. -Miss.Lopez made me wait for about 5 seconds before she even acknowledge my request! -when i confronted Miss.Lopez she did not feel like an apology was necessary or take the time to understand the problem. -her coworkers seem to be rushing to get a look at me while i wanted for my order. which means BEFORE i got to the window, i was talked about. -intentionally did not tell me thank you after i got all my food. This review is for all their salads-- yes I've tried them all just to see if they were all worth the price. The lettuce they use is iceberg-- they don't take out the pits so you end up taking out those hard white pieces from the center of the lettuce. They don't use any other healthier green leafs. I think I saw a couple romaines. The base of the salad is he same. Because of all the toppings included in all the summer or seasonal salads, having basic lettuce doesn't seem so bad. But when you have the taco salad-- the combo of all the items they put on there makes it watery--and far from yummy. The entire container was full of lettuce, I couldn't add anything including the chili unless I took out some lettuce because it would overflow. I guess they don't realize that there's all these toppings one needs to add including a whole bowl of chili. Please fix that.. The problem is they charge $7 for a large but it's worth probably less than $4. If you're gonna charge ally for your salad, take note from other fast food places and add some healthy greens and make your salads actually worth eating. read more
