I was inspired to write this review because last week my husband bought me a Girl Scout thin mint cookie fusion shake from Wendy's. Wow! It was the most decadent treat I've had in months! Get a small though as it's very rich. Crunchy bits of cookies in a chocolate shake. If you like GS Thin Mint Cookies, this is definitely worth the trip to Wendy's. The is bc we used to come here more often - we're not regular fast food people but in a pinch, Wendy's was our first choice. It felt freshest. But after many order errors, and a pleasant surprise experience at a different FF restaurant, we don't go to Wendy's these days near as much. Prices have gone up while quality of both food and service has fallen. But (!) the thin mint cookie shake was so incredible, maybe they're making a comeback! Go Wendy's! read more

Waited for over 30 minutes for our party of 3 while they kept seating parties of 5 that walked in after us. Meanwhile there was a perfectly clean booth near the window that no one was being seated at. When they finally called our party of 3 they tried sitting us in the back near the bathroom. We were told the ice machine was down, but after we insisted, they then brought us ice from the back--meaning their drive-thru soda/ice machine was working the whole time. After a long afternoon we stopped and each of us ordered a cheese burger and frosty. Order number 12 @ 1924 hrs on the receipt. Drove 1 mile home and both burgers were cold. Not warm, but cold to the touch. Had to reheat them in the microwave which warmed the meat and softened the lettuce and tomato and bun. What a terrible experience. This location and said associates, are more concerned with acquiring customer escalations, rather than doing the right thing to make customers happy. I placed an order online and the store got the order wrong. After associates verified the order was incorrect, they did not want to help me without adhering to nonsense directives. Worst customer service I have ever received. As a local and after 15 years of coming to this location, I will stop being a customer due to this experience. Telling everyone I know NOT to visit this Wendy's location due to poor customer service and poor customer complaint resolution. I have no problems eating at Wendy's here in Paso Robles. I love the chili that they serve here. I have them put cheese and onions and I get it at a decent price. I find that it is easy access to get to this location and when I leave it again it is easy access even know there's high traffic here. Over all the food is good so I have no complaints especially with the hamburgers. read more

FLIES! FLIES! FLIES! This restaurant is filthy inside and tons of flies inside the restaurant. The cashier didn't call our number when our food was ready so they didn't care that there were flies on top of our fries. Not sure why this Wendy's is not shut down for health reasons. I always go to Wendy's when choosing a fast food burger and love their fries a lot! Today wasn't a good visit and it usually is. I asked the drive thru if they changed their fry recipe bc alllll four orders were dark brown and burnt looking. He said no, I said I come here for good fries and these aren't normal, maybe burnt? Standard Wendy's here. The staff is usually very inviting and helpful here so that's what makes them a little more special than some other locations. This is one of my standard go-to locations when I'm passing through Paso. The salads are always surprisingly good here compared to other similar fast food places so I always opt for those. read more

Ordered breakfast here: one sandwich came with no top bun (WTF??), both were missing the cheese sauce that kind of makes the sandwich, and our third sandwich was missing entirely. When my husband called about it they were dismissive. We advised that because we are moving we wouldn't be able to come back by for a replacement and asked for a refund instead, which the lady agreed to. We found out through searching the internet after not receiving the refund that it's not something they can do without the card, so she outright lied to us about that and hung up on my husband while he was asking her name. Wendy's has a great 4 for $4 deal that is great when you need to feed 6 kids quickly with out breaking the bank. It's fast food so you get what you pay for. The burgers never look like the pictures so don't be surprised when you open your burger. It looks like a lot of young high school kids working but they are nice and trying to do well. Have patience and remember you can feed 6 for less than $30 and no one is asking for a tip. So don't expect perfect service. It is what it is. Not perfect but not terrible. read more

Wow...2.5 stars, that explains a lot. My 75 year old Irish mother went through the drive through today and was mocked and mimicked because she had a think accent. So, this 75 year old American citizen that has paid her dues in life was asked to repeat her order through the drive through numerous times so that the bigoted and unprofessional staff could laugh at her. ( she heard them) Worst part is how management decided to deal with this. The manager, Sabine , told me when I called and complained that everything is recorded and she doesn't believe this happened, as she put it " why are you calling and not your mother "....my response, because she is embarrassed and crying that's why.... Then she responded by saying, "look, I have your name and number thats all I can do " and promptly hung up. I really miss the old manager, he kept that place running in top shape! On my visit yesterday, the drive thru food was not hot or fresh so I had to go insid to get it fixed. The manager Gabby was chit chatting away with no concern about what was going on. Come to find out only one person on the staff spoke English, not even the manager! They spent 5+ minutes trying to fix my order and gave it back to me minus a hamburger. When I tried to explain it was still not right, they all looked at each other because they had no ideas what I was saying!! I finally just told them to give me my money back. My family and I came in here for a light dinner and wanted to get some cheap fast food. We were the only customers inside and although we were kinda indecisive about what to order, when my brother changed his mind during the order, the cashier said she couldn't cancel part or any part of the order. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? She said the total was already rang up and her fellow employees just stood there watching us like we were asking for something crazy. I even suggested if we could start over the order since we all knew what we wanted but my brother's order would be different but no, nothing could be changed :( Also, the same cashier asked if I wanted onions and cheese on my chili which I did want but when the food came out, she asked if I could wait for the onions and I said no. This is FAST FOOD. There was no one else except us maybe some some random drive through customers but whatevs they didn't have my onions but had my cheese. Alright, until I was pregnant, I wasn't a burger eater on the regular. Now I can't get enough, and I must admit that Wendy's Baconater was a common craving. Wendy's fries are also great, good balance between shoestring and steak fries. As far as fast food joints go, this is the only place I'll eat a burger. I'm quiet disappointed, I thought wendys was good in Paso and I cared less what people wrote about it until today! I went to the drive thru asked for a spicy chicken sandwich with a combo & some chicken nuggets. I honestly thought it was too much for $15, they told me It was for the strawberry lemonade I ordered that made my total went up! -_- oookkaayy... anyways I thought at first it was a quick and polite service when they handed me my order the same time I paid.? Weird yet cool right? Idk so I was like happy it was VERY fast. Heading home, in the car I open my bag wanting to take a bite of my sandwich, took a bite didn't realize till like I was done with the first bite that it was a "Double staked beef meat with pickles, mustard and tomatoes." The most disgusting Wendy's Ive ever seen. I took my son into the bathroom and the urinal was broken and someone was using the toilet. We waited and the guy came out who turned out to be an employee. He barely washed his hands. We went up to the counter and I looked up at the menus overhead above the cashiers. Im not exaggerating when I say there were flies everywhere covering the menus. I couldnt concentrate on anything else besides flies all over the menus and I told the girl if she noticed all the files. She said yeah never really noticed that. I asked are there flies all over the food back there and she said no. I think she was annoyed with the question. I decided not to order and left.
