Long time fan of Wendy's . But our experience yesterday wasn't one that made me want to return. It was National Cheeseburger Day and the Kiosks were down, the Wendy's app was overwhelmed, and the staff wasn't handling it in a curious manner. Close to yelling at my wife. When we received our order and opened it at the table, it was barely warm. Due to our experience while ordering we did not go back up to complain at the store. Hope they can turn service around, but based on a current rating seems it may be awhile. read more

1st of all Wendy's app encouraged to use for discounts only so they can serve you cold food and not have the food you ordered. They were out of chili at 8 o'clock. Meal was paid through app and they wanted to give me extra fries instead of my chili. I went there because I wanted the chili. I said no thank you I'll just take my money back. The manager came over and said we can't give you your money back please let me give you something else. No thank you, I guess I just have to take care of it through the corporate office and he said good luck with that. Sad that Wendy's out there to take advantage ofpeople. Order from the app. I had enough for a free Baconator. Took my reward points but still got charged. The lady told me we can't control the app and we've been having problems with it. Also ordered a Son of a Baconator. The patties were so thin and bacon were bits. I know what a Son of a Baconator looks like. This one was the size of a childs burger. The last two orders were wrong or missing food. I get it, it happens, but it shouldn't every time we go. One time 4 orders of fries were missing. Pulled up to the drive through and asked for a #8. (Classic sausage, egg and cheese sandwich meal) Was told "not available." After nothing else said after I asked since when? The response was "yesterday" in a very rude tone as if I should have known that. Maybe I could see where he was coming from if the put unavailable on the menu, but it clearly wasn't. Literally the worst drive through place ever, they're rude. They take forever! The kids working literally wouldn't hand me my food for ten minutes with a huge line behind me because they were scared of a moth by the Window! I seriously have no idea how they hire these people! Management and employees are awful here! Another experience here was waiting for 20 min to get up to the window at exactly 10:30 and says I couldn't order breakfast! I was shocked! The food is good, but I was there Monday 9/21/2020 and the manager on duty has to be the most unpleasant human being in the world. He was nasty and had a general bad attitude. I love this Wendy's. Always very clean for dine-in and a fast, accurate drive-thru. Big shout out to the manager and cashier today at 2:20pm. Some lady was super irate about a baked potato. I mean, over the top, yelling and cursing about it. The manager was ultra polite and still got her what she wanted even though I think it was a simple misunderstanding with the original order. Rude. Even with drive through only, service was terrible. When I pulled to the window there were 3 workers there, and not one acknowledged me for over 3 minutes, the first interaction was one silently holding the card reader on the ledge, so that I had to lean out. Even then there was no vocal communication. The only words I heard were after they handed me the bag, 4+ minutes after I pulled up. 3 people failed to say hello though an open window. My wife just spent 25 minutes in a drive through for her order to be completely wrong, the drinks not even filled close to the brink of the cup and a line so long that it wasn't worth another 30 minutes to get it fixed. How low can this location cho, 2/3/23, the short long dark hair lady (assuming manager) could've cared less about serving me my order, forgot my drink, no utensils, no napkins and then managed to screw my order up by I'm assuming hitting the wrong button for my sandwich or just didn't listen when I ordered. It was the right sandwich, but made with less meat and items. There's other options in Peoria and I guess I'll go where the business is looking to provide good service and food. read more

My 7 year old kid says it is a FIVE star experience ONLY because they have the awesome and unique tasting soda options. I say it was TWO stars. Our food was set out on the tray one by one, by one, ultimately waiting on the last item while the rest of our food got COLD!!! I do NOT like the modern decor as most of the seating is odd. There were plenty of people there, but none of them sat in the chairs by the fireplace with no tables. No one sat at the communal seating and that took up a good portion of the area. Wait, one guy did sit there in the end all by himself only to stare onto our table and at us!! Weird... Of all of the different seating options, EVERYONE there sat at the standard tables. This is a brand new building yet they have a SINGLE bathroom option!!! Hey, if you need to use the restroom or even JUST WASH YOUR HANDS before you eat like I do, I hope it is available!! If my kid needs to use the restroom, one needs to be available NOW, not after waiting for 10 minutes for someone to dump their load!! The restroom looked like a kid had a hay day in there!! There was toilet paper everywhere and NO paper towels, they were empty!!! The garbage cans were 100% full and 90% full!! It was about 7:30 on a Wednesday evening, not very busy. There were probably 8 to 10 people behind the counter. Surely ONE of them could come out and tidy things up!! OH YA, the ketchup dispenser was EMPTY and despite us telling them and asking for ketchup packets, it remained empty until OTHERS complained too!!! Went for ice cream on Sunday. The checkout kid reached into our car to get the credit card. NO MASK NO GLOVES. Same with person who handed us out food. I looked inside and no one had masks or gloves. I called the manager and he said " We have them available but it is optional. " I called corporate and they said they sent them to them to wear them. Don't go there. Used to love this Wendy's! Now, every time I come there's something wrong and/or missing from my order. Also, it has become the local hangout for an unruly group of teenagers that attend the BASIS school across the street. It's ridiculously loud and it's an uncomfortable environment. This is probably one of the nicest looking (from the outside, because I have yet to be inside) Wendy's around. The girl at the drive through was really friendly even asking me how my day was going, while we waited for a manager to assist with my order. (I have a discount to use.) Now the manager on the other hand, did not say anything, had a mean look on her face the entire time, and just grunted when she saw my card. I know using a discount can be a hassle, but really you should not be "mean" to a customer because they are using something like that. But I have gone off on a tangent. The food was good. Typical Wendy's. I had the Asiago Crispy Club sandwich combo, my husband had the Dave's Double. My girls both had the chicken nuggets kids meal. One opted for fries the other for the apple chunks. I will say I prefer the Wendy's kids meals to other kids meal places. I feel like the apples are fresher and the "toys" are normally more geared toward learning or interactive play, which I really appreciate. The manager should be fired. He is incompetent and very unprofessional. A child vomited in the lobby and a customer told the gals working the counter. The 2 had a conversation about who was going to tell the boss. They seemed to be afraid of him, and when one told him about the throw up, he yelled loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear, "I've got a line around the building I'll get to it when I can." Several of us standing at the counter we're shocked. I made eye contact w the mgr, shook my head and left without ordering.
