The chicken nuggets smelt like dust and they were super stale and I thought I bit into a moth ball...

first of all they have horrible customer service. I went inside to order food the door was locked but there were people inside someone opened the door for me and the employee started yelling and clapping her hands saying stop opening my door the lobby is closed. How is the lobby closed if there are people sitting inside? Also why are you yelling and clapping your hands at a customer. They should reevaluate their employees. read more

Ordered a large lunch meal during a time when they were serving both breakfast and lunch. Was given my breakfast order right away then asked to pull over and wait for the rest of my order. Waited over 20 minutes for the rest of my order. I ordered a large meal was given a medium drink, completely cold, hard, old fries and no napkins. I went inside and asked about the drink and was told that is a large. I pointed to the large cups behind her on their counter and she said they aren't using those because they didn't have lids. I asked her why they charged me for a large when they knew they were going to give me a medium? She said the medium is now a large. I told her my fries were cold and old and she said yes because they had to wait on my burger. Don't go to the Wendy's at 24th St and McDowell Rd. 3-14-18 Just went to this Wendy's OMG, horrible service, the lady taking my order read it back right but instead of screwed up the whole order. Went back once for the missing sandwich, got home and saw instead of a daves double they gave me a fish sandwich!!!!! Overall, service is mediocre.. more than half the time they forget to add items to an order. Yesterday I drove thru and got everything... what I didn't expect though was that I got fries, those big kinds all seasoned from what I believe to be from Red Robin.. how did I get fries from another restuarant in my order mixed with regular Wendy's fries?? read more

As an occasional junk food eater I've over the years dutifully tried everything on their menu at least once. So as to make it easy to gauge each of these eateries, when I do try them, I've devised a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being outright down and dirty nasty, and 5 being the best a fast food joint can be! Wendy's awesome! After waiting at the airport for 3 hours, we were starving and decided to get something to go for the ride home. We decided on Wendy's. We got there 3 minutes before they're about to close (they must hate us for doing this.. and I think they close at 1AM?) but customer service was still superb and surprisingly, the food came out very fast. I finally got the chance to try the berry almond chicken salad after seeing it on tv so many times. It was absolutely delicious! The fruits were fresh and the chicken portions were big! The raspberry vinaigrette dressing was really delicious and paired really well with the salad. Also picked up some chicken nuggets, chicken sandwiches and their chili soup. Everything was so delicious and fresh! Wendy's over McDonalds any day! ;) and it definitely satisfied my tummy. read more

I haven't been to a Wendy's in a very long time. I used to love going to Wendy's as a kid. My visit via the drive-thru was friendly enough. Nice staff member at the window. Fast service. The food however. Ugh. First off I ordered a diet Coke and got a regular Coke. The burger was decent but there are better burgers at other fast-food restaurants now. The fries must have been sitting around for a while. They weren't very hot and were pretty soft. Not sure I have a reason to go back again after this experience. I didn't go back and complain since I was on my way home and tired and didn't feel like wasting my time. I just through out the soda and most of the fries. read more

This is the fastest Wendy's ever! I've never had bad service and my orders are always perfect. -1 star because it almost scares me how fast the food comes out. But if you're going to be eating fast food... there are far worse things to worry about. Speaking of which, Wendy's has a few good items for when i'm looking to grab "healthier" fast food. Their salads are loaded and tasty, I also like the non-breaded chicken tenders. But occasionally I just come through for a speedy Frosty late at night.. always meets expectations. read more

Extremely rude staff, will never visit this location ever again. Tried to order a bacon deluxe cheeseburger they yelled at me that they have never heard of it, showed them a picture on my phone they once again chewed me out saying that's not available at every location. They should all be fired. Update, just opened and took a bite out of the baconator I was forced to but instead and it was basically raw. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the lettuce on it was gross and old. Called the manager to get a replacement and they were okay with it. I went the next day and get another sandwich. This time there was a bread tie or clip in the sandwich. At this point I wanted a defunded. Spoke with the manager, Chris, the next day. Told him the situation and he looked at me funny, like I was a liar. I told him I wanted a refunded and said he was doing so but with a disgusting attitude. This is literally the worst Wendy's ever. Every single time I've been here they forget something, and always forget the sauce. They have never remembered the sauce even when I reminded them at the window (because I hadn't received the sauce the last few times). They also forget whatever extras you might need: spoons or straws. Last time I checked my bag before driving off and asked for the sauce and the second straw. Got the sauce. Asked for the straw, again. Girl said, "Yeah yeah your food is coming." What? Dude I was a teenager not that long ago, and even I didn't cop that big of an attitude. Wish I could give zero stars. The lady working the window on 02/11/2022 at 1:30pm either needs to be trained again on how to treat customers and take orders or she needs to be fired. I orders a kids chicken nugget meal with lemonade, easy I know, and this lady was in such a big rush so I had a feeling she messed up the order cause the total was higher than usual. ($8.89) I drove up to the window and was confirming if she did a kids meals or not and this women had such a disgusting tone to her voice and was acting like she was mad at me cause she got the order wrong. Not my fault, stop being in a rush and repeat the order back like you're trained to do. She put down a ten piece nuggets and small lemonade. She takes my card and told me my new total would be $5 something. Looks back at me and goes "you're $3 short". I look at her and say there's money in my account, run it again. I opened up my bank account to see if she'd charged me already and I go "you already charged me" and she goes "it's fine don't worry about it". Gives me the food WITHOUT a receipt. She charged me for the 10 piece nugget meal and drink. Not what I actually ordered and received. I had a long wait time just to receive the wrong order. I ordered two baconator combos and one spicy chicken sandwich combo with cheese. The drive through cashier was extremely rude and sarcastic. I asked for a number 5 with ketchup and pickles. She callously responded, "you don't want any meat, bacon or cheese?" From the time I pulled to the speaker to the time I drove away was under 60 seconds. Got the 4 for 4 value and the fries were perfectly salty, drink was just as I asked for (lite ice) and the burger was good. Excellent service to the point of being unbelievable. As I was waiting for my food - a crew member decided I waited too long and upgraded my fries (I literally only waited 3 minutes or less). I heard it telling to his employees before he ever told me. He was letting all his crew know that (my name) was getting an upgrade for the wait. I didn't think I waited too long - but he knows his goals and reiterated them to his team. I happen to stop here before heading back to Tucson on February 13 at about 11:30PM and the lady at the drive thru could not be bothered to pay attention to us. I got my total and that was the only words from her. They were inside too busy talking to each other to help me, the only person in the drive thru at the time. I felt like it was a huge burden that I was grabbing some food. First she handed me the two drinks, and usually they would say "here is the tea, and this is the coke", or something along those lines....Then when she gave me the bag of food it was only one of the two things I ordered and she was inside a bit chatting and then brought a second bag but never acknowledged any of it. It was just totally disrespectful to not acknowledge the person you are serving, I know you were busy having a conversation and I hate to bother you in you personal time...Oh wait you were being paid to serve me not chat! Generally speaking, I've always had fast and good service from this Wendy's. That is until today, 3/12/12. Going through the drive through is generally easy and they are always polite and sometimes engaging. Today, A nice lady was taking the order and then was cut off by a male voice who began to take over the order taking process. This would not normally be a concern, but the process was abrupt and the male then started to enter the order incorrectly (according to the order screen). I called out that the order was incorrect and that the prev lady was handling the service just fine, including repeating back the order to ensure it was correct (which it was at the time). The male voice then told me that they took the order process over as the female was not at the computer to input the order. Now, this isn't an issue and I fully understand the need to have the person who is next to a computer be the one to take or input the order. the problem I have is with the transition and the fact that the order was then input incorrectly. As I was done with my order and feedback, feeling that the issue had been addressed and dropped, I proceed to the pay/pickup window. That's when I saw a man leaning out of the window in an (in my opinion) aggressive fashion. The man turned out to be the male voice and is also ( I was to learn) a manager for this facility. The manager was curt in his attempt to tell me how rude I was and disrespectful in telling him how I felt about the order taking issues while at the order speaker box. Now, I'm sure that I could have reacted in a better way, but having someone treat me like that when I'm in my car with two small children, only wanting to have my order and leave, well let's just say that the experience didn't make me happy. The manager, Sergio, was loud, angry, rude, abrupt, disrespectful, obtuse and evasive when asked for another manager or the franchise owner's contact info. The manager didn't like that I told him how I felt about the order box transition process and was further infuriated when I told him that his level of customer service and current conduct was unacceptable and didn't reflect on his status as a manager. The manager then told me to leave with out offering to table the issue and give me my food. As I was also ordering food for my children, I choose to stand my ground and demand that I be allowed to pay and take my order. I further reminded the manager, Sergio, that the entire ordeal was taking up valuable time and money for this establishment and also holding up the customer's behind me; this only added fuel to the fire with this person as they didn't seem to like being told about how to manage or conduct themselves as the manager. Now, I long ago realized that there is no such thing as "the customer is always right". As I have spent years in retail, food service and other customer service environments, I have come to understand that no customer is always right, but the customer is still number one. With out the customer, there would be no job to pay the manager, employees or the business owner. So, I am left feeling like the owners of this particular Wendy's must not have many options for quality management or they, themselves, don't seem to care about the overall quality of customer service of their business. I would prefer that the case be the former and certainly hope that it's not the later. The worst part of the whole experience is the food. I had asked for no tomatoes on my food. I am allergic to them and can not eat anything that even comes into contact with tomatoes. The food for my kids was fine, but mine wasn't edible as there was a tomato on the burger making. As I wasn't able to return to the Wendy's, parenting duties take precedence, I had to throw the whole thing away. I have been eating at this Wendy's for about 2 years and this the first time they messed up my order. I went in today to let them know that I got the wrong order yesterday and they said they can't do anything about it because I did not bring the food back. I work in an inbound call center and can not make outbound calls. I told her that and she said I can't do anything for me.
