I ordered the Ranch Breakfast with sausage and fruit and it was perfect. Everything was good. The fruit was nice & fresh, the biscuit was soft and warm and the other food was straight off the grill. I've never been to an Elmer's before this one was large and spacious. Our server was Breeana was our server and she was excellent. My husband and I are traveling so we split a ham and cheese omelette. We got a biscuit. I got fruit and he got hashbrowns. I also got a coffee and it was pretty good.. Wow this is the old 5 points restaurant. Not much has really changed. It's still got a really good breakfast here!!! I always like to sit in the lounge here. We had one of the best waiters/bartenders name Rob who served us. I will never forget his name as we both have the same name. I got the Denver Omlette and I really liked it. It was hot and delicious. I really like the hashbrowns here they are crispy and delicious. This place was a one of the best Elmer's I have been to in a long time. Every time I seem to go to an Elmer's now days they pretty much suck. She got a breakfast bowl and really liked it.. I would come back here again for breakfast for sure. read more

Monday night, and they were not busy. We sat down and had our drinks in less than 5 minutes. The restraunt was clean and cozy. The only hard to take thing for some people is the fact that there seemed to be reduced phone service inside the restaurant. There may be a lot of metal in the structure. This is the first time in a long time we have had good potato pancakes. For some reason, restaurants don't know how to make them anymore. The omelet was loaded with bacon and crab. The potato pancakes were hot and delicious. If you come here to eat, either come hungry or get a to-go box. Good food, large portions, good prices. Will be back. read more

There weren't a lot of places to eat. So I was glad to find Elmers right next to the Four Points Sheraton I was staying at. I ordered the crab BLT salad and it hit the spot. No frills but the meals are done well and the price isn't too bad. I would come again to try their prime rib dinner. read more

From the moment I walked in, I was immediately seated and taken care of, with staff quickly asking for my drink order and offering recommendations, which set a great tone for the visit. I love places that serve breakfast all day, and this restaurant absolutely nailed it. I ordered the bacon, ham, and sausage bowl, and it was one of the best things I've had there--rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. I especially loved the emphasis on using Tillamook cheddar cheese, which I'm a big fan of, and being able to mix everything together made every bite consistently delicious. Water smells like sewage. It even carried over into the coffee when you smell it. No other drink options were offered when reported but they at least took it off the menu without prompting. They can't properly cook bacon, which was ordered well done and crispy, but was half cooked, and tasted like turkey bacon rather than real bacon. The fruit bowl was full of sour, unripe and inedible, grapes and strawberries. There are no gluten free options except a couple of sides like the fruit and cottage cheese. The only edible thing on my plate was a half banana. The biscuits and pancakes my partner ordered were super burnt. I would have been better off at Dennys, which would also have been cheaper. Restaurant is on 181st Ave, next to a hotel. Cool building that looks like a Mediterranean villa. Food was delicious and reasonable prices. They serve breakfast all day. Our server, Bree, was the best we have had. She did everything possible to please us. Our coffee was a bit strong...she brought a small pot of hot water to dilute it. Our order didn't come with the potato pancake or the biscuit she raved about...she brought us one of each to try. She was friendly, with a great personality. We left happy. This Elmer's restaurant is slightly off the beaten path, but exactly what I needed after a very full day at home and then flying into Portland. My 5th grader and I were really hungry, as I had skipped lunch in order to make our flight on-time. The menu looks good, but what's really calling my name is breakfast. Will the kitchen make breakfast food, even though it's 8pm? Our server says, "Yes, of course they will!" I immediately land on the hungry rancher's breakfast. My 5th grader is wants the Ivar's clam chowder, and he proclaims it might be better than the clam chowder at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. My breakfast plate is exactly what I wanted with scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, sausage links and an English muffin. Our server was incredibly prompt and friendly, and when it was obvious that we were from out-of-town (the question whether breakfast is still available in the evening), she brought a gift certificate asking us to come back again soon. Make sure you request your food hot. Two orders of hashbrowns way undercooked. The chicken fried steak was tiny. No point in being fast if your food is not very good. Will not return and I do not recommend. $30 for breakfast and we have to go someplace else and eat because we're still hungry. Just got home and immediately had to go to the toilet. What a lucky find. After fighting traffic for 4 hours from Seattle to Tacoma, I was tired and famished. The hotel had an adjoining restaurant. The restaurant closed the dining room at 9 and bar at 10. I walked in at 8:38. None rolled their eyes and all treated me like I was there on time. I sat back in the bar area and the bar tender poured me a real size Bushmills to go along with the Bud Light Those tasted soooo good! The Bud light was frosty. My salad was out in no time and was delicious! The grilled salmon was out the instant the last bite of salad was swallowed. The bar area had some slot machine like games and a lucky woman was doing quite well. I would have lost my shirt and wallet. Then, as I checked in on Yelp, I saw a breakfast picture of a Dutch baby. That determined where I was going for breakfast. When I got there 12 hours after dinner, the place was near empty. I ordered the Dutch baby(they call it a German pancake) with Lingon berry topping. I also had a couple of eggs and bacon. When the feast arrived, the Dutch baby was over the edges of the plate. It was delightful. The eggs were fresh and the bacon was amazingly good. Managements horrible, i should had read comments before coming here. I read another comment and appears they had the same trouble. Hotel needs to cancel their breakfast with them. I paid for breakfast for two at hotel but I was told since my wife is not with me that I can not take her breakfast to go. I travel all over the world and have never experienced this issue. read more
