Twas the most Divine experience of my pallet since thyn deliverance from my fair maiden. (Nah this was terrible, farted with every bite. My tongue itches.)

I stopped by this Wendy today to grab lunch since this location is near my work office. I used the app to place my mobile order and also used the offer that they had to get a deal on their double cheeseburger. I added fries to my order and then paid through the app. It didn't give me a time to select so I figure they just start making your order once you're there. When I pulled into the plaza this place is in, it was basically quiet. There are pot holes in Wendy lot so be aware. I pulled up to the drive thru and told the worker I was picking up my mobile order. I was told to pull up to the first window and then a little forward since my food wasn't ready. It took like 5ish minute for my food to come out when they had no other customers. I thought the double cheeseburger was okay, it reminded me of my high school food but the fries were delicious. Seasoned perfectly and the softness of the fries was spot on.

I drove up to order the 2/$3 breakfast items. The employee said " we do not offer that anymore" she said come up to the window... and smiling we don't have that offer anymore, i replied oh but you have it on the drive thru sign. She said no we do not ma'am because i took it down and checked the sign twice with her voice getting louder with anger. I said ok I am not going to get anything bye with a smile driving off confused about the whole scenario. I went back around and took a picture of the sign. I was nice but im sure she will have some other customers that will argue with her... karma is going to cone around for this employee today. Hahaha

Several Saturdays ago, I ventured out to try to get fabric from a local store to make face masks, which showed as being open when I researched online. Alas, they were only open for curbside pickup. To regroup I went to Wendy's. Ordering at the drive-thru, I took my order to the adjacent parking lot and enjoyed my Frosty sitting in the comfort of my car. It was a mild afternoon, and I could open the windows and appreciate fresh Spring air. I also placed an online order for the materials needed for the masks, a worthy multi-tasking. I got the small treat for myself, plus ordered a salad to take home and share for dinner with Dear Hubby. The salad was a winner, with a mix of savory and sweet ingredients. The reason for a just-okay rating was that at the time (around 4/4/2020), the staff was not wearing masks nor wearing gloves. I had a mask, and hand wipes / hand sanitizer, but would prefer to see a food establishment protecting their team with better gear.

Extremely cheap and processed "grilled" chicken in the new Cobb. Horrible salad.

Ordered the new Cobb salad even though it didn't have blue cheese which i thought was odd. I assumed it was the same chicken they use for the grilled chicken sandwich's, but it's this horrible cheap and overly seasoned/salty processed chicken that is worse than Taco Bell. The kind that comes in a bag. It was hot too and wilted the lettuce. The dressing used to be simply ranch and now it's Kraft. Absolutely disgusting salad with horrible cheap ingredients. What a bummer. The lemonade was good, but that's it. I stopped coming here after always getting food not cooked to order. Zero reason to return. What a disappointment.

The service is always great, today I was assisted by Virgie who was very pleasant. The place was also clean which is always a plus. I ordered El Diablo burger with a side of chips rather than fries. The meat they use for the burger is high quality and you can taste it in every bite. The meat was cooked to perfection and it sort of just melted in my mouth. The habanero aioli added great flavor to the burger and a very light vinegary taste that cuts through at the end. The jalapeños tasted fresh and were not spicy imo (I have a high tolerance). The buns had a light crisp and were fluffy on the inside which complimented the rest of the burger so well. The chips are very thin, crispy, and lightly salted. Overall, you can taste the high quality ingredients in every bite and I will be be back again. Its worth every dollar. The best part is I do not feel bloated after eating here.

The pastrami burger and onion rings were the highlights for me. The onion rings were super crispy with a nice, light batter. The burger hit the spot too. The fries were a bit underwhelming though, kind of bland and definitely needed more seasoning. Overall, a solid stop if you're craving pastrami, but I'd skip the fries next time.

Let's get one thing straight--The Hat isn't just good... it's the kind of place that makes every…read moreoverpriced, overhyped sandwich shop look completely ridiculous. I ordered the pastrami dip, and this is how it's supposed to be done. Not dry, not chewy, not some sad excuse for deli meat. This was juicy, tender, stacked high, and absolutely dripping with flavor. Every bite hits hard--rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. And the bread? Holds together like it actually wants to be part of the sandwich, not fall apart halfway through like a soggy mess. Now let's talk about the onion rings... because this is where they flex. You order a "large," and instead of some tiny portion pretending to be generous, they hand you a brown paper bag absolutely PACKED with crispy, golden onion rings. Not greasy, not limp--crunchy, hot, and seasoned properly. This is what a large is supposed to look like. Other places should be embarrassed. And the service? Fast, efficient, no nonsense. No attitude, no confusion, no standing around wondering what's going on. These people know exactly what they're doing. Orders come out quick, everything's hot, and the whole operation runs like a machine. That's how you handle volume without sacrificing quality--something a lot of places clearly can't figure out. No gimmicks. No trendy nonsense. No tiny portions dressed up to look fancy. Just big, bold, properly executed food that actually delivers on what it promises. Meanwhile, other spots are out here charging double for half the portion and calling it "premium." Stop it. This is the standard. Bottom line: If you want a real pastrami sandwich, real portions, and service that actually keeps up--go to The Hat. If not, go waste your money somewhere else. I'll be back. And next time, I'm getting another bag of those onion rings--because clearly, one isn't enough.

Decided to try FunBurger and this was one of the best decisions we've made in quite a while. Did you know they have limited breakfast hours? I didn't. Mon - Thurs 11am to 2pm and Fri - Sun 9am to 2pm, very nice. Their breakfast burrito is one heck of a bargain. It's big, tasty, and was served very hot fresh by the happy staff. The breakfast sandwich is also a great deal. Oh, and don't forget the French Toast strips, crispy and quite yummy. It was a very Happy Accident, as Bob Ross would say, that we found this new breakfast stop. Give them a try, breakfast is as great as their burgers. Giant TV's too.
