I love coming to this Wendy's. The food is good, hot and tasty. I particularly have noticed Adam lately. He is personality plus. He's friendly and helpful to everyone who walks in the door. He is a very hard worker. He not only took our order, but delivered it. In between, he was cleaning off tables, asking guests if he could refill their drinks. He was in the parking lot scraping up the driveway with a putty knife. He was also picking up trash both inside and out. He changed gloves and used soap. He takes pride in his work, quick and on the ball. I hope his boss recognizes and appreciates his effort. read more

I was waiting for my daughter at Uhaul. she was going to be awhile so I walked next door to Wendy's. I get to the counter and was greeted by Mathew. I asked him "what number did you move the Swiss to?" He said "sir, we don't do Swiss anymore" I said "oh wait its a sourdough Jack I want" Mathew asked "sir do you think you are at Jack N The box?" This is by far the BEST run fast food restaurant I have ever been to. I have never before encountered such consistently good customer service. EVERY time I use the drive-thru, they manage to have my food ready for me by the time I pull up to the window. Mind you, I always order my burgers with no mustard and no pickles, so I'm sure they somehow make it to order that fast (and they never get it wrong). One time, I pulled up to pay and realized that I had left my wallet at home. The manager handed me my food and told me to take care of it next time. How cool is that?! read more

We ordered the new pretzel bacon cheeseburger and it had more grease in the carton than I had ever seen. It was so greasy and tasteless. Probably one of the worst hamburgers I've ever had at Wendy's. Thank goodness for their frosty ice cream. The service was good and the store was clean. read more

The service is usually great not late though.. When I come here in the afternoon the workers are so fun and friendly and energetic and the food is good. Karla is very sweet and I see her all the time. When I come here at night though I guess there's a different staff they always forget stuff in my order always!!!!! MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR RECEIPT CAREFULLY! After I ordered and pulled up, I asked to add a small frosty off the dollar menu. They had handed me the old receipt with the food, added the new item, charged it to my card and this dollar item became an almost for dollar item. When I explained to the worker, Maria, that it is wrong, she said it's the tax. I broke down the math, she went to the register, took out two dollars, and told me "now you got the frosty for free" and gave me a nasty look. Drive through at 8:30pm Saturday May 7 2016 convenient. Waited almost 15 minutes after ordering. Got the food got back on the road come to find out order was wrong and cold. Fries were sticking together so cold. I rarely complain but this really made me mad. Poor shift manager as the restaurant wasn't busy and only 3 cars in drive through. Very very dissappointed in this service. Paid for a warm meal but instead had to reheat it when I got home which is only 5 mins away. NOT HAPPY!!!!! read more

I'm updating my review because I was quite literally vomiting while writing the last one. I truly HATE being sick so this is the worst memory I have of a restaurant. I got food poisoning where symptoms lasted 3-4 days, and the aftermath of fatigue and malaise a week and a half. I don't trust ANY food in L.A. Ave or even many in simi anymore. And my boyfriend's had similar experiences recently. Just avoid fast food here. Go to a supermarket, eat a salad, enjoy not barfing. read more

Today my wife and child ate at our favorite Wendy's, the one on East Los Angeles in Simi. I know the the GM, she's amazing by the way! We went to to order and a young man by the name of Gage took our order. He was attentive to our needs and did a great job! I went back to the counter after pounding my coke and got a refill. The coke obviously need to be changed because it had ran out of syrup. When Gage said that the coke was out a very rude, heavy set lady kept calling him a derogatory slang word in Spanish, WETO! This means a light skinned person! Now, I don't care what people think of me but I'll say this. If I was Gage I would sue the heck out of this company for allowing this type of discrimination in the work place! He has a name call him by that and not the color of his skin! This is absolutely unacceptable language to be used in the work place! I will not go back until I know that this has been addressed! read more

This Wendy's has the best manager I have ever seen in any food place that I have been too. She brings the food out to you personally at night and she always gets you anything you need. If some orders get mixed up she always gives you something and apologizes, like a manager SHOULD do. The drive thru is great also, I always get a "how are you today" and "no problem take your time" when I ask to please wait a moment. The food is the best food I've had at any fast food place. The burgers don't feel like fast food. I'd rather pay an extra dollar for my combo then buying McDonald's next door. This food actually tastes real.it has better bacon on its burgers than Denny's... This Wendy's is the worst I've been to after working there for a few months I can never eat half the food there again. I've seen them use old meat from off the grill for the "famous" chilli. Most of the workers there are very friendly but the main manager Leonarda is one if the worst managers I've worked with. She takes home all the free food she wants gives it out to her family but when an employee wants a free drink which is allowed by company policy she gets pissed off about it. Also she over worked me and did not want to follow the guidelines on my work permit and eventually I quit because I could no longer take her sarcastic and rude attitude! read more

I love there salads and go once a week, they never can get them right...I will repeat over and over that I do Not want cheese on it. Get home and sure enough I got cheese. and its not something you can pick off. I ask for ranch dressing and get told it comes with ranch. Its a bbq ranch, taste nothing like ranch.
