I have literally had it with this Wendy's! Every time, no matter what I order, I am told to pull forward and wait. Even if I am the only person around! Not only is the service slow, but if I was waiting to be handed food that was fresh I wouldn't complain. I can tell that my fries have been dunked back into hot grease or that my chicken was double cooked. Disgusting! I have returned ONLY because the staff is friendly and I feel sorry for them having such poor management or training. Tonight, at 14 weeks pregnant and only able to stomach a baked potato, I went to Wendy's. I came home hungry and not willing to eat the crap I was given. I can microwave a better meal. The manager checked the cameras and he verified that they did forgot to put the correct cheese on the 2 burgers I ordered and insisted if I wanted a refund I have to come in. Why inconvenience me for your mistake? I didn't get what I purchased and you refusing to give me a refund is stealing. I have a disability and getting help to leave the house is challenging. Drive threw always in an extreme rush even if theres no cars. They always forget something because of it. Ive had chicken nuggets missing twice before on two separate occasions. Today I got the $4 for $4 deal and an extra jr.cheeseburger. The Jr. cheeseburger was really sloppy, soggy and un appetizing. To add i asked for ranch and got a random salad dressing, not there normal ranch dipping sauce. Now it wasnt exactly like this, so let me elaborate. Pulled up to the drive-thru, placed my order for a couple Frosty's, Jr. Bacon and some Nuggets (which were very very tasty with the BBQ sauce). So the lady says its gonna be $8 something when I order, then I get to the window and hand her the coupon. STILL 8 something. Are they trying to rob me? Probably not, but I sure felt insulted. Now I shouldve gone Oakland Raiders on them and got ghetto, but thats just not me anymore. Nowadays, im much more professional, so you know I will be calling their corporate office in a few mins. Came here for lunch with a buddy. We were greeted and had the door opened for us by an employee as we approached the place. As we walked up I noticed a great big sign that said "Free WiFi Available!" I noted that and smiled. I could go on-line with my various internet devices here. As we walked up to the registers and a sign caught my eye. I'm a sucker for ads, so I pointed to the sign and said "I want one of those." Not even really knowing what it was. The nice girl behind the counter explained that it was the W, and it came with sides and a drink, and asked what sides I'd like. She then politely went over my options. I went with the chili cheese fries. My buddy also got the W and a side of fries. Minutes passed and our trays were put out. The big burger displayed in a cardboard box, next to the chili cheese fries and the drink. It looked good, but the chili cheese fries didn't quite look like the picture. But I didn't complain as they looked very tasty. The woman who put the trays down double checked with us that the orders were correct. We took our trays and went to a table. We unwrapped the burgers and ate them. We were silent as we enjoyed the double patties, the vegetables, and the toasted bun. They all meshed together very well. It was a quite good burger. I wondered why it'd been so long since I had been to a Wendy's. As we left, the guy who had opened the door for us asked if we'd like to refill our drinks before we left, thanked us for our visit and and then opened the door again for us. I felt that was a nice touch. Service was exemplary, food was good. I think I'll be visiting Wendy's more often after this. read more

Thanks for screwing me over, Wendy's. Went through drive thru today at about 1:30. As I'm driving away, they're calling after me "ma'am come back!". (I should have kept driving). I go back and they tell me my card didn't go through. They run my card again (apparently 4 more times) and tell me it isn't my card, it's their system. So eventually they give my card back and tell me it worked. Turns out my bank shut my account down because of the 5 separate, identical transactions. Here we go, 2 weeks + with no access to my account, waiting in the mail for a new card and pin, and oh yeah, gotta call all the places that automatically bill my account every month. I've been meaning to write this review for awhile now, so here we go. On October 31st at around 2:30-3pm I came to this Wendys with my family via drive thru. There was a confusion with my order when it was read by to me by Jayden. I repeated what my order had been and she was trying to get it corrected for me. Unfortunately this caused a delay & what astonished me the most was that she was yelled at by an older Hispanic lady by the name of Leslie for taking so long and wanted Jayden to hurry up because the drive thru was getting backed up. Leslie's attitude towards Jayden was absolutely unnecessary & unprofessional. She had no reason to show poor leadership skills to a young lady who was simply trying to fix the mistake that had occurred which was likely caused by Leslie because the woman that took my order had an accent. Not only did Leslie yell at Jayden while I could clear see and hear the altercation, she also talked poorly about her in Spanish. I gave this location 3 stars solely because of Jayden. She maintained her politeness and professionalism the entire time that I waited for my items and not once disrespected Leslie like Leslie did her. Leslie needs training in not only how to be kind to fellow coworkers but how to be professional while working customer service. This place has really lost touch and I don't think it's the store's fault I think it comes down from corporate. They are so obsessed with speed and that's the reason this place is going to go under. We as customers come there for one reason and one reason only; the food. They're so obsessed with speed that they pre-cook the food the hamburgers are horrible you can tell they've been cooked hours before. If you're in the Drive-Thru alone and you get to the cashier they make you pull up anyway even though there's no one behind you. Look at in and out and Tommy's I wait there 10-15 minutes in the Drive-Thru I don't care because the food is good. This Wendy's has the most unbelievable service. Every order is right every time and the staff is attentive and polite. One of the mid-day managers has to be the most bubbly person I've ever seen in food service - she always has a smile despite always being busy doing something. Restaurant is clean inside and efficient with the drive through. Food is good - exactly what you expect from Wendy's, nothing more but also NEVER less, which is saying a lot for fast food. Wendy's makes good burgers. Oddly, they've chosen to be one of the businesses that supplies you with nearly nothing (ketchup etc) for your order during the pandemic. So you better make a grocery order before making a Wendy's order. I'm not sure how this is worth the few cents on a huge order and many lost orders, but I don't do this for a living. In person you'd ask them for more, but here you get on ketchup per two burgers and a small fries. I'm not sure I even want to go back to begging places for sauces when we get back to life, honestly, plenty of places have upped their game. read more

Just home from going to Wendys in Simi Valley. Went through drive thru and the lady taking order broken English and not very patient with us. I ordered the new bacon queso burger combo with a small frosty instead of a drink. Hubby ordered a number 8 or 9. We got home and we had to single cheeseburgers not what we ordered. I have given this place a ton of chances but tonight was the last straw. Every time I go to the drive thru they mess up my order either forgetting something or just giving me the outright wrong item IE. chicken sandwiches instead of hamburgers. Normally I just call and they are very apologetic I go down they give me the missing items with offers for more. However tonight I go to get the items I paid for that they can't seem to give me, the attendant was outright rude. Basically calling me a liar because"they double check all their orders". She was very reluctant to give me what I have already paid for. Really? I can say without a doubt this location is the worst of any fast food restaurant for order accuracy. Wendy's is one of the last fast food restraints still hanging on to traditional values with a realistic emphasis on customer service.They provide a warm, family feel environment as well as maintaining a pleasant, well kept eating environment.The restrooms and lobby was clean and non-greasy.They had private bathrooms with real paper towels! The cashier was on point,punctual and used excellent suggestion techniques in order to help me decide what to order as well as promote the company's advertised meal.The order was processed diligently as well as punctual.The Manager delivered my meal to my table before I got there and it was as fresher than expected from a fast food joint at high noon on a weekday.Mist of all,what stood out to me was the fact that they maintained this service standard without creating a overly chaotic environment behind the counter with an abundance of teenage employees scrambling for their lives much like their top dog competitors serving Big Macs down the street.A perfect low key,relaxing dining experience down fast as needed.I highly recommend this place over some of it's rivals on the Simi Ave.Only suggested change... It's strange to review a fast-food chain, but this particular Wendy's is worth mentioning. The customer service is better than most full-scale restaurants. The manager beams as he peruses around the tables, offering to clear trays and refill drinks (for free). When the line gets long, he speeds things along by grabbing a notepad and taking customers' orders himself, so that the customers need only present the cashier with the order slip to place their order. This speeds up the line considerably, and is above and beyond the call of duty for a Wendy's manager. As for the food, it's par for the course for fast food. I've had mixed results at this wendy's. I am reviewing against my last 2 visits over the last 3 months. First time I ordered through the drive through during lunch. I ordered a chicken salad, a chicken sandwich and a side of chicken by itself (chicken patty), and a jr. cheeseburger. I get to the window, pay and get my food. First I get an extra soda, ok no problem. I get my food and begin to drive away but decide to stop and check my order. I was given 2 chicken sandwches and no salad, look at my receipt and that is what they had charged me. So I go back and tell them I had said a chicken salad, the manager came out of the building to straighten things out. She apologized and took the new order, I paid and she also gave me a free frosty. Aside from having to wait another 10 minutes this wasnt too bad and the manager took care of the problem. I get home and I was missing the chicken patty, so my daughter only ate fries that day. Next time I decided to walk in to avoid any confusion and maybe catch any problem with my order before I left. I order pretty much the same thing minus the salad. The order came out fine but there seemed to be some confusion with the manager and the order taker, they had to repeat the order to each other a good 3 times. But still, thats better than getting the order wrong. The manager was the same one as my first experience. She is always happy and upbeat, but I think she goes a little too fast for her own good sometimes which causes slight confusion throughout the crew. read more

Not been impressed. Last 3 visits over a 6 month period for Frosty's only and they have messed up the order each time. 1st time they charged me for the car behind me. Once that was fixed, they didn't charge for a frosty so they had to charge my card twice to fix it. 2nd time they couldn't hear my order because their speakers sounded messed up. Again didn't charge for a Frosty I ordered and I had to pay twice. 3rd time was tonight. Took the kids for Frosty's. I only had 3 I ordered. They charged me for two and I repeated my order. The lady rolls her eyes, walks away and another lady comes back to hand me my 3rd Frosty and charge me a 2nd time.
