If you're looking for a quick meal on the go and find yourself in the West Caldwell area this Wendy's is a pretty solid bet. I stopped in for the Baconator Breakfast Sandwich with a Coffee and was decently satisfied with both. Not sure how long they've been serving breakfast but I definitely like where they're going with this part of the menu. My Baconator was loaded with crispy Applewood Smoked Bacon, and also had Egg, Cheese, and even a Grilled Sausage Patty on it for the win.    I found the Service at the drive thru window to be very Friendly and She even added the few extra creamers that I asked for, now that's what I'm talking 'bout. this is the only wendy's i will eat at! although obviously it is wendy's so the food will not be the most amazing, it is quite good! the only issue i have (with the chain as a whole not just this location) is that they got rid of the four for four. nonetheless i still love it here! the food comes out quick and employees are generally very nice and with the recent renovations, the place has become a lot more refined and nice! read more

This was a the most disappointing and gross burger I have ever had. When did Wendy's star being super greasy? The burger, a Daves double was super sloppy with wilted lettuce, squishy tomato, and flavorless meat patties and cheese. I was a little suspicious right away when I noticed the foil wrapper was really really hot in the middle like it was sitting on a heated shelf or under heat lamp. The bun was also yeasty smelling and fell apart like maybe it was getting stale. Wendy's has really gone down hill I would not recommend eating there ever. read more

30 minutes in the drive through line at 3:00 on a Saturday and i still don't have my order! Once i pulled up to order it was 10 minutes before someone came on to take the order. Been coming here for as long as I've lived in town (8+ years). Customer service has never been a strong point here but not necessarily any worse than any other fast food place. Walked in today and the first smell that hit me was not of burgers or fries but of grease. It just smelled dirty. And the tiled floor by the registers? Just nasty and sticky. You get used to mediocre service and sub par cleanliness until you find a fast food chain that blows you away w their customer service and clean stores, and that chain is chick fil a. Luckily they are now building a lot more of them in NJ and their competition here should be very nervous. read more

As far as Wendy's goes, this is probably one of the nicer ones. It was renovated recently and they did a nice job. They added one of those fancy soda machines where you can mix and match to make over 100 different flavor possibilities. There was a sign saying that they are hiring "crewmembers". They definitely need to hire some "crewmembers" because it took a really long time to get our food. The food was good and accurate. I tried the new Tuscan Chicken on Ciabatta and absolutely loved it. I ordered it with the grilled chicken to make it a bit healthier though. Highly recommend it. We ordered our food for take out. I'd definitely stop in again when I'm in the area. read more

They've picked up their pace a bit. It used to take forever to get your order but they now have new people here......It's ok. Nothing special. The burger was tasty but the fries were kind of dry and cold. I love Wendy's burgers though so much that I seek them out whenever I am low on funds and need a quick lunch. read more

Just want to say the service was poor. I purchased dinner there on January 1st around 7 PM. The store was not crowded.There was no "adult" supervision and it took 15 minutes to get my order of 1 Dave's single cheeseburger and 1 Dave's double cheeseburger and medium fries. I had to place my order 2 times for order takers to get it right. The customer in front of me waited over 10 minutes. By the time I completed my order and paid there were 5 vehicles waiting behind me in the car line. The 5 employees spent a lot of time staring at the order monitor and joking with each other. Very slow service and the food was "edible" and fries were cold. Suggest better supervision and QC by management. read more

I have been coming here for years even though they seem to have a hard time preparing orders right the first time if you ask for some kind of change. But today's experience was the worst ever. My daughter ordered a chicken blt with no tomato and no mayo. On the third attempt to get the order right I heard one of the employees call me a bitch. I was infuriated but let it go. Then there was an older gentleman waiting for his order. He was waiting forever and during his wait one of the cooks went to the restroom. Came here for the drive thru and Hadn't had Wendy's in well over a decade. Was with some friends who wanted it so why not. I keep it cool with some nuggets and a jr burger. I ask for the sriracha sauce for the nuggets, one of the advertised 6 sauces- they're all out. Ok.. fine -- I asked for extra ketchup instead... to which I was told they were OUT OF KETCHUP! Since my initial review, something miraculous has occurred at this Wendy's. I've been there twice since September (the second visit because it was the only restaurant in West Caldwell that didn't lose power in the snowstorm), and I have to say, things have picked up considerably here. The burgers were fresh and tasty, and I really like the new "natural cut" fries. They did get my order wrong on the second visit. . . but hey, it's WENDY'S. I expect that of them. read more

I'm a big Wendy's guy for FAST FOOD. I enjoy this over all the other fast food branches (Mc Donalds and Burger King). Their food is so much better than the others. This Wendy's is by far the WORST one EVER! They have snails for employees, take forever to get your food and the line gets out of control. I've been here numerous times, and it's the same thing every time even when slow. Management needs to add some fuel to their employees. read more

Out of all the fast food resturants, Wendys is the best. (food wize). The food tastes the freshest out of all the mcdonalds burgerkings and dominos etc. (The food still isn't very fresh). However things there have recently been picked up there.The facilities are the cleanest and washed most often. The employees seem no nicer or more caring than all of the other places. Wow. Just wow. I don't think I've ever gotten such gross and horrible food from a restaurant before. My husband and I went through the drive thru one night on our way to a road trip and in our hurry committed the cardinal sin of not checking our food before we went on our way. My son's milk in the kid's meal was open and half gone, so I wouldn't let him drink that. The fries in all our meals were cold and so salty they were inedible. Our burgers were not even lukewarm. A Saturday afternoon. Grabbed lunch before going to Stop and Shop with 2 young children. First, I said we wanted fries but the cashier (who may have been a manager?) didn't hear me so we didn't get them. I went back up to ask for fries and she gave them to me for free. Second, I sent my 5 year old to the counter (in my sight) to get us a bag to take some leftovers home. This same woman gave her two small Frosties for free! Lastly, my daughter left her beloved toy horse there. When we went back an hour later, they searched the place and found it. Wowowowowow! Very happy mom experience.
