Based on the reviews I was nervous to try this spot but I do love a Wendy's burger (because they don't cut corners). The service was great, the kiosks are still there...looming...and I am sure they still get used but the employees did not tell me to use them (as mentioned in a few reviews) so I went to the counter. Service was friendly and the food came out fresh and quick. Dining area was spotless and the restrooms are clean. The drive through seemed to be busy the whole time I was in the dining area which meant the staff were pretty busy, I appreciated them being so friendly and accommodating to those of us in the dining area. Parking lot looks like it could be a challenge so I backed into a spot so I could avoid backing out into the cars going into the drive through. That's the only thing that I see where it could create a challenge. I will be back as this was a great stop on my way back home. What I got was about a teaspoon of crispy onions and what looks like the last few scraps of bacon that were at the bottom of bag they had left. One tiny tomato and piece of lettuce. My wife and I went here this evening for some good old fashioned Wendy's nuggets, burgers and fries. We each got the $6 biggie bag meals and well let's just say we were disappointed and disgusted to say the least. Matter fact we both are writing a review right now because we felt like people should know. Our fries which to me, used to be the best in the fast food game, were way too salty and didn't taste fresh at all! The nuggets were so hard you could chip a tooth on them, and her hamburger and my chicken sandwich were ruined completely because they both had so much mayo on them! I understand it's fast food and you kinda get what you pay for but like what a waste of food. The bottle of waters we got we're actually the best part of the meal and I'm glad we had them to wash the salt & mayo out of our mouths when we finished spitting out the rest. I was shocked to see so many negative reviews. I drove through here on 4/8/2022 with my 3 children. We were on our way to work at an orphanage in Mexico with our church. We had stopped at the del taco in the same parking center and had a horrible experience there so we left without food. When we went through Wendy's I had low expectations and was already feeling super uneasy about Yuma as a whole. The employee at the window was extremely positive and friendly. Our food was fresh and hot. I left there with a smile on my face and very pleased with the service I received. People don't realize how much a little kindness can truly go a long way. This is a brand spanking new Wendy's. I mention it's new because they have to kiosks right when you walk in and you can put in your own order instead of waiting in line. This is like the greatest fast food life hack there is! they have TVs and one of those fancy soda machines with a thousand sodas but they also have brewed sweet tea and regular tea. So I started to order in the store, but found the parking difficult attempting to leave with the backup of the drive thru traffic. I visited with two grandsons, on Sunday April 3rd. we were the only customers in the store, about 3-4 employees present. They refused to take our order, and referred us to the kiosk to order. They refused to help us figure out how to use the kiosk. I let them know we were unable to figure it out without help, and would have to leave if they don't help us. Happy that there is a new Wendy's close to the house however they really need some more help regarding the "fast food" business. The establishment is appealing, new and clean. I do recommend to either hire more workers, or new management. The night we came in to order they were slammed! We decided to order on the self help displays and sat down to have a seat while we waited for our food. There was a customer upset because he waited for his spicy chicken sandwich, apparently he waited for 20 minutes while the rest of his food was getting cold, big driveway line, and he just sat at the counter waiting. It actually slowed the line down and some customers became upset and left! It's now 9:25pm, the display says my order is ready, came up to counter and it wasn't ready. Waited at counter, another gentlemen waited at the counter and nobody helped until we asked to be helped. Recommend someone man the cashier or counter possibly on weekends have both registers going. The place is busy however with the slow customer service I can see this place losing business and eventually closing down. Great location, but the team needs lots and lots of work! Today we went in and you can only order via kiosks. Which is okay but the service was SO SLOW and the food was cold and wrong. Ordered a jr hamburger which has no cheese. It had cheese. Chili was cold. How is chili cold? It was awful all the way around. If we'd eaten there I would have given the food back and asked for refund. I very much agree with the other reviews on here complaining about how bad the service is. I can't express enough how truly BAD and SLOW they are here. The dining room was closed, even for take out, we had to go through the drive thru while towing a boat. We sat at the intercom, where they take your order for three minutes and no one answered. We pulled up to the window and the employee greeted us by saying "is there something wrong" my reply was "yes, I need to order food. We sat there for three minutes and no one helped us". He proceeded to take our order and when we received it, it was completely wrong, they gave us the incorrect food and only part of the food. I sent it back and had them fix it, at this point 5 employees are standing around giving us dirty looks and rolling their eyes, including the manager. We received our food again and my bacon jalapeño French fries were cold and my JBC was missing condiments and was cold. We took it back AGAIN, told them it was cold, they gave us our food back and didn't give us the bacon jalapeño fries they gave us regular fries.
