This was my first time visiting, so I asked my server a few questions about the menu, hoping for a recommendation or a little guidance. Unfortunately, the service felt pretty flat. She wasn't rude, but the experience lacked warmth and enthusiasm. As a first-time guest, I was looking for a bit more engagement and hospitality. Now, let's talk about the food because that's where this place shines. Every bite was well seasoned without being overpowering, and the portions were generous. Everything on the plate felt balanced and thoughtfully prepared. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with home fries, and the runny egg, crispy potatoes, and fresh toppings came together perfectly. It was comforting, flavorful, and exactly the kind of meal that keeps you coming back. Overall, I would absolutely return for the food. I just hope the service becomes as memorable as the kitchen because this restaurant has all the ingredients to create an exceptional dining experience.

BIG BREAKFAST - 18 This spread came with choice of eggs (scrambled or sunny side), bacon, crispy potatoes, baked beans, toasted rye, and a small side of yogurt with granola. Overall, this was a bit of a hit-or-miss. The scrambled egg tasted pretty basic, but I did love the crispy edge of the sunny side. The bacon was way too crispy and hard, which I didn't like, so I let my friend enjoy my portion. The potatoes were definitely the highlight with buttery soft interior, and crispy exterior that was seasoned with salt and herbs. On the downside, the baked beans were too sweet for my taste, and the toasted rye was stale and hard. The yogurt was incredibly rich, so the small portion of it was perfect. While this was a large spread of food, I don't think I would order it again. I did notice the Danish toast while I browsed the menu, but I'll save it for a future visit if I do decide to dine-in!

I mainly came for the cardamom bun, but we had a peek at their menu and also got a coffee and shared a shrimp sandwich. The sandwich was so good! I'd definitely get that again but there are also so many other items on the menu I'm excited to try. The cardamom bun fell flat though. It was dry and a bit stale.. so would pass on it next time but maybe try some of their other baked goods. You can order at the front for takeout and eat outside if the tables are open, or there is also inside table service if you want to wait.

My meal arrived right on time, piping hot, fresh, and definitely not the "leftover of the day." I'm usually not a fan of wild salmon, but this dish completely changed my mind. The salmon was tender and flavorful, with an accompanying sauce filled with red and green peppers, tomatoes finely diced and a red sauce. Must I say it was absolutely delicious. The jasmine rice was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were blanched just right. I enjoyed my dinner. I will definitely be ordering this again and sampling other dishes on the menu. Compliments to the chef!

This time around, I tried the BBQ salmon pesto with fries and the black bean burger with fries--both were so flavorful and satisfying. The aesthetic of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with good music playing in the background that sets a great vibe. The staff is super friendly, and the whole environment just makes you want to stay a little longer. I even had the chance to meet the owner during my visit, and he was incredibly kind and passionate about what he's building here. You can feel the love and dedication in both the food and the atmosphere. He mentioned there's a live music event happening on May 31st--so if you're in the area, definitely check it out! Spread Love & Eat truly lives up to its name. I'll definitely be back!

We tried the "Fuel" juice, which was an excellent recommendation from Alex. It's made with just four simple ingredients -- beets, orange, carrots, and lemon -- and it was absolutely refreshing and delicious. Sometimes simple ingredients make the best combinations, and this juice proves it. For breakfast, we both ordered the fish and grits with eggs and vegetables, and it was outstanding. The flavors were perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying. Honestly, even if you walk in without much of an appetite, the fresh juice and flavorful food will definitely bring it back. The customer service here is truly amazing and genuine. Our waiter Carlos went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire meal. His attention and hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant also has an excellent vibe -- welcoming, relaxed, and the kind of place that makes you want to come back again. Huge thank you to Carlos and Alex for making our breakfast so memorable. We will definitely be returning!

The waitress was super professional and gave us suggestions from the menu items. She suggested the Peaches Punch (rum and positive vibes) and she did not disappoint. Peaches Punch was sweet and citrus. My fam is southern, migrated from North Carolina to Brooklyn, so I am not a stranger to southern food. My mother was a sou cook in a small water front hotel on the intercostal waterway, so I confess I am a chair side critic of collard greens. I do not like collards simmered too sweet. I also like to add vinegar. So we ordered the fried catfish, cornbread, and collard greens. The catfish arrived seasoned and crispy. I added a dash of Texas Petes hot sauce, they seriously offer a variety of hot sauce. Love it. The collard greens were inviting, aromatic, and tender. The smell of the collards reminded me of Sunday dinner after training. Yes, it tasted old school, I greatly appreciated the southern vibe and the great southern hospitality. The main entrées were affordable and the drinks were worth every penny. This is within walking distance from my home. I will definitely return for collard greens. Please make a date to sit out on the sidewalk and order those collards.

During a recent breakfast visit celebrating both my mother's birthday, I had a disappointing customer service experience. I would first like to recognize the young gentleman who served our table . A mexican young man. , He was professional, attentive, and courteous throughout our visit. The issue arose when I ordered a Peach Bellini that did not taste as expected. It lacked the peach flavor I had enjoyed on previous visits and tasted more like orange juice. I asked if it could be replaced with a ginger ale. My server was handling another table and zi was willing to wait. . But a women of Spanish decent light skin and heavy set approached our table and explained there were policies regarding returning something. . Rather than simply processing the substitution, she repeatedly encouraged me to keep the drink and offered to add more peach flavoring. I explained several times that I simply did not like the beverage and preferred a ginger ale instead.. I also told her I an celebrating a birthday abd do not wish to go back and forth. She tried to explain all drinks are made thd same which is not the same. She has to remember she does not just represent herself but the Peaches establishment. As a former bartender, I understand that drinks can vary, despite efforts at consistency. My concern was not the drink itself but the lengthy discussion. I felt pressured to justify a simple request during what was meant to be a special celebration Our bill exceeded $100, and as a longtime customer, I expected a more customer-focused response. If there is a formal policy regarding drink returns or exchanges, it would be helpful for it to be clearly posted. They eventually substituted it. But I should not have to goI though all that. Overall, my experiences at your restaurant have been very positive, which is why this incident stood out. The food was excellent, and our server was wonderful. I hope this feedback can be used as a coaching opportunity. Customer concerns are often best resolved through listening, empathy, and flexibility. .
