Whenever I'm home to beautiful Southern California, I always make sure to stop by this little joint that's become one of my favorite spots in Glendale. First off, I love the ambiance...and ambiance is not a word I use often, but felt it necessary for this review. I love a place with a good booth and a good view of sports on the tele...vision, not phone. The service is great...the bartender is sweet and always had a huge smile on her face and I WISH I could remember her name, but the beers were so good and numerous that it's escaped me. Anyway, last time I was home, I came by here with a few friends and just had a heck of a time, as always. I ended up chatting with the owner, John, seemingly as always, and I just love that dude. He runs a great business and is hilarious. He's like a character from the Hobbit if it was a comedy. But I digress...the beer selection at this place is pretty epic. I think there's around 30...I only got 1/6 of those, but really loved it or at least really enjoyed them all. I then got some kind of white sauce garlic pizza bites and truffle fries and HOLY WOW I DOMINATED THE HELL OUT OF THEM. They were so damn good...especially after 1/6 of their beer menu. I'm in love :) Love everything about this place! Was really impressed by their great customer service. My friend and came here for dinner. The closest server was busy talking to a table but told us to seat ourselves wherever we wanted. Originally sat up at on the stools between the booths and the bar but realized it was a mistake on my behalf because the table was too small and I always order too much! A server had already greeted us but we moved ourselves to the bar and a different server came to greet us and gave us time to look over the menu. The first server saw we moved but wasn't rude about it like other places can be. Not much of a beer drinker but really wanted one that particular night. Had trouble deciding between a couple and the server was really great about giving us samples. We made our beer selections and ordered a few items: - Garlic Parmesan Fries with Siracha Ketchup - Cannot go wrong with this! - Pulled Pork Taco (special of the day for Cinco De Mayo) - It was delicious! Pretty huge for one taco. Only had one tortilla which I'm normally okay with but it was so stuffed that it the tortilla ended up breaking. - Mexihawaiian - Mexican/Hispanic(?) Spin on the traditional Hawaiian pizza. It was really tasty and very saucy. It actually made the pizza soggier than I was used to, but it was still pretty tasty. They have their own private lot and was almost full when we arrived. Had handicapped parking so it wasn't a problem for me! This place was utterly unremarkable in its decor and ambiance, the outdoor seating was definitely just a "check in the box," and the generally felt like a place that wasn't interested in quality and experience as much as they were in it for large margins. The server never checked in to see how the food was in spite of the fact that only two tables were occupied, and was irritated when I asked for ketchup for my fries. Hate to do this but it is well deserved. I work in the restaurant business myself so last nights experience really put me over the top. Sat there for 45 minutes waiting on just an appetizer wedge salad, when the waitress finally came over who by the way had taken my order twice, she acted like she had no idea what we were talking about and started throwing her co worker under the bus saying it was his fault! I've come here a couple of times and was never exceptionally impressed with either visit. What wine tasting place doesn't offer charcuterie boards and snubs their nose when you ask. Instead, I was served prefrozen garlic fries. ‍ Second visit was the last straw, a group of friends and I went to sit at the table since nobody attended to us. Ok, I get it, maybe you're busy. What I didn't expect was for the waitress to come out, hands full, and scream at us like a bratty little sister. Apparently, she said, there was a sign and we needed to wait for a table. I watched her seat a group that came before another man and his wife who had a reservation. He was flabbergasted and was in disbelief, as was I. Understaffed. No organization. I feel bad for the servers. You can't eat inside but you can drink. No one sat us down even though we where in the list. We sat ourselves when we saw an open table. Since no one else was waiting and nobody cared to check the list. Beer was ok. Food I have to say no. Came out cold and just not tasty. They even forgot an order of food we put it. Such a relaxed place! Go with your flip flops and joggers no one cares, or go with your fancy clothes again no one cares. The ambience is so comfy and chill, outside tables are my favourite. Great beer selection! I been here probably dozen times with friends, family, coworkers and never disappointed. I have recommended this place to many people I know and whoever came they loved it. Lots of street parking. Staff are chill as well, they don't bother you much and rush you to eat, pay and leave. So you can enjoy your food and beer with no rush. It's a very friendly place, you feel like you are sitting in your own backyard eating drinking. One of my top favourite breweries. Only one request, please clean the outside wooden tables with wet cloth. As people put beer glasses on those tables and accidentally spill beers on tables, the outside tables gets very sticky. I only tried two of their beers -- the Vlad (sour beer) and The Abraxas (stout) -- and both were delicious. Their brussel sprouts were well seasoned and the portions were reasonable. Didn't like the ahi poke appetizer-- it was so salty I couldn't taste anything else. The seating area was spacious and not packed at all, which made me feel at ease with friends. Finally made it to this local gem and tasted a few of their food items and a couple of beers. Burgers are delicious, although much smaller than usual since they officially call them sliders. Their truffle fries is excellent, nice and crispy and with the right amount of saltiness. Their Brussels Sprout salad blew us away, it was light, refreshing and tasted delicious. I'd order that again next time. The service was friendly and fast even though the place was packed. The decoration inside is modern and feels more like a bar but it is a family friendly place. The parking may be a an issue on weekend nights but you should be able to find something on the street if you're visiting after 6:00 PM. This is an example of a great place for locals to hang out and enjoy good food and crafted beer (or wine!). What I like about this place the most is that it does not get too busy and loud unlike other similar pub/gastropub places so for people like me who are not in their 20's anymore is an excellent casual place to relax, unwind and chat with friends after a busy day/week. Most of the food we have tried so far are good and I like the idea of slider instead of full size burger that way you can try a few items or even a few sliders.But I have to mention the sliders are pretty heavy and loaded with ingredients that make you full. The sharable Garlic Parmessan French Fries is very good too, it has fresh grated garlic on it but we could not see or taste the Parmesan, not sure if they left it out or it is just the way it is. Swung by on a Saturday evening around 7 or 8 with a friend for some pizza and beer. We were walking down Glenoaks and almost missed it across the street. It's not on a corner or intersection or anything and the bulk of the building's length is perpendicular to the street so it doesn't have a whole lot of visibility/frontage. But we dashed across the street and came in. The service was great. We were immediately waved towards some seats and were seated, and the menu was clear and the beer options were handwritten on a chalkboard-like set up on the wall. I got some sort of coffee stout and my classy friend had a glass of red and we split a barbecue chicken pizza. The beer was good and the pizza was fine, nothing spectacular but very respectable. I was impressed with the bathrooms which had a nice 2"x2" grey hexagon flooring and beautiful subway tiles along the walls. Details. Overall, I might go back again. It's nice to have a small neighborhood pizza bar. Our server, a pleasant man with a scruffy blond beard was very nice and accommodating and was always quick to get our items as needed. read more

Ordered group take out and asked for all dressing to be put on the side . Not only it was not prepared the correct way when I called to ask for one portion of it to be replaced , Sara claiming to be the manger accused us of not being truthful . Our entire group was in the room and we all heard the order being placed . Sara told me I have to pay again to recieve a replacement , which I did . I hope the owner of this establishment sees this and reaches out . My husband and I and I'm addition to many of friends are regular visitors to this establishment and this is an example of horrible costumer service . read more

We enjoyed the fries and the BBQ chicken pizza. There are so few places that have such a big group of craft beers on tap - we will definitely be back. Updating my review as I have been there for their outdoor only service, and now their takeout only service. Both are exceptional! For outdoor service, they have set up a great tent in their parking lot with picnic tables socially distanced. You can use a QR code for their menu (including a current list of beer/wine). Great service, delicious pizzas, sliders and salads. Staff are fantastic...as they have been from the beginning. Tonight, we did take-out for pizza, beer and wine. The FW pizza is my new favorite, though I love the Mexhawaiian as well. Any "create your own" is fantastic too. They are so conscientious in pouring the wine and beer. Caps with tape keep it secure til you get home. The beer isn't poured until after you arrive to pick up your order to ensure it's as fresh as possible when you get home. Love this place! read more

Really cool and chill spot in Glendale to check out. They have over 20 microbrewery beers on tap and more options as well. Food was pretty good. Loved the chicken BBQ pizza and the tacos. The tacos come as one each but each one is a giant taco so it's filling. Only bad thing about this place is the earlier closing time. Wish they stayed open till later on the night. read more

I live right down the street from this restaurant and it has been my greatest pleasure finding this place 3 years ago. My go-to is the BBQ chicken pizza and for good reason: 1) the bqq sauce is amazing 2) the cilantro is the cherry on top. AND their ranch is UNLIKE any other ranch dressing I've had (highly recommend dipping the pizza in their ranch. Their secret gem, however, is the brussel sprout salad. I came here 2 days in a row HAHA! It is a hangout. The place is perfect for just hanging out. The space is roomy and easy to relax. The workers are chill. Decor is minimal. It is focused around beer. A few TVs on the wall. Price is perfect for me. $20 to 30 per person including 2 beers. Food is interesting. I went two days in a row and did find some inconsistencies between the days and/or chefs. The first day EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME!!!! The second day, a few things were burnt and stingy with the sauces. However, I have to admit, that both days the food is extremely GOOD! The menu is full of FRIED food. The best is the Fried Pickles. Other than that, for a group of 4, all you need is pickles, fries, pizza, wings, and maybe split between sliders or tacos. Was looking for a good pizza spot close by and came across this one after a quick Yelp search. There's a small private parking lot on the side. Street parking available . Inside is clean and spacious. High table , bar and regular table seating available . TV's mounted throughout the inside showing games. Came in the afternoon and upon entering the friendly waitress said we could sit wherever. It was not busy. Waitress was super friendly and provided menus . Pizza and other bar meals on the menu. Everything looked good! Beer menu behind the bar has some good choices ! Decided to go with the Natalie Bites and Fries. Service was quick and she always came by to fill up our water. Ah, I LOVE how this place is super close to where I live...it's literally a 3 minute walk. This is a super great place to come to after work with friends/coworkers/roommates, etc. It's loud enough so that the vibes are lively, but not so loud that you can't have a decent conversation with your company. Seating is comfortably spacious, but not empty-feeling. We ordered Garlic Parmesan Fries and Truffle Aioli Fries, with some cider and rose. I wasn't a big fan of the rose - it was more on the sour side. The Fries were AMAZING though, and the portions were ungodly large. My roommate and I definitely could have been satisfied with just one order, but we got two HAHAHA. I wish this place served cocktails. That would be the only thing missing at this bar. read more
