Delicious coffee! Swung by here after stopping to see my brother in the Springs and the lovely Road construction traffic made me decide I needed a break. Coffee, Tea and delicious Boba tea options! This place is such a local gem!! The staff are top notch, friendly, helpful, sweet, patient. The food is unique, well-thought with a good foundation of the traditional brunch food we all love! The Scotch eggs are a playful and tasty option that I enjoyed my first time here. This time I was snagging brekky-to-go for a sweet friend who just had surgery. So it was quick in and out and no photos of the food, unfortunately. She asked for a scone and at 9 a.m. I actually got the last one, a delicious raspberry & white chocolate the size of a cat's head. I was offered a bite and oh my! That could tempt one away from keto!! Breakfast sandwiches allow you to choose your bread, and come with egg, cheese, and a special mayo-based sauce, and extras like like meat, avocado, etc. @ a small upcharge for each. Burritos and salads are available too. So glad I ordered before the huge long line of folks that came in soon after me. Popularity confirmed! We stopped here on our drive home to Texas from summit county. It was 2 hours into the long drive, perfect distance for a morning pit stop. The coffee was delicious- we had an Americana, mocha, hot cocoa and vanilla frappe. I love that they offer dark or milk chocolate for the mochas- I chose dark and it was a good strong flavor without being too sweet. The pastries we unique, fresh and very tasty. We had the chocolate zucchini muffin and the lemon blueberry scone, and would recommend both. This will be a regular stop on our road trips to/from CO. read more

This place was super cute but when you walk in it's very high pressure to order quick. I ordered something that I didn't want, I thought I had ordered a ham and cheese turns out it was tomato and cheese. I still think this place is great! But I wish they could let u take your time more. read more

Great place to go for a great coffee and breakfast sandwich. When you walk in they have an ever changing and interesting display of jewelry and other gift items that are so different I usually end up buying something. This couple is from South Africa and they are so nice to talk to. I love that they ended up in Monument. They have bakery items for sale too and they are very good. Plenty of seating! read more

The staff is pleasant but what screams out to customers is that they like shoving their religious beliefs on customers with all the religious paraphernalia for sale and their numerous customer religious gatherings. For $9.49 excluding tax, I was given a small slice of white slice of toast with bacon bits and avocado and approximately 6-7 pieces of lettuce/spinach without dressing on a 6" plate. This is their "Avocado toast". Make no mistake: WO does not serve gourmet food, despite their ridiculously expensive prices! I do not recommend this coffee shop...unless you're going there just to pray. I will try to post a pic of the above. read more

What's not to love about Wesley Owens Coffee Shop. I myself am a tea drinker. The selection of "fogs" is amazing! I've had a Rocky Mountain Fog, Venice Fog, Dublin Fog and the typical London Fog. They are always made perfectly consistent no matter which barista prepares it. The room is such that no matter how many people are there the volume of table talk is dispersed enough that you can still hear the person sitting across from you. I recommend Wesley Owens highly!!! read more

Severely disappointed in Wesley Owens Coffee. We came in the other day, and the staff were so nice and awesome. I ordered just two scrambled eggs with no problem. No issues, no question. Today we went and were met by the short heavy-set woman in the cook coat. I describe her only because I don't know her name. I ordered two scrambled eggs. She loudly said they don't do just scrambled eggs. Confused, I said I got them yesterday. She said louder no we don't do that. Then she yelled across the coffee bar to the kitchen, do we do just scrambled eggs!?!! No, we don't do just scrambled eggs. Now I felt the center of attention and ridiculed. We left and are never coming back or recommending Wesley Owens to anyone. This was totally uncalled for, underserved, and unnecessary. And if certain people don't value their customers enough to be kind, then that reflects on everyone, and the business is not worth it. We're sticking with Serranos across the freeway. read more

I won't be coming here here again. Ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The croissant was extra. After 15 minutes I'm told there are no croissants and did I have a second choice? I said artisan bread as the only other choice was sourdough which I'm not fond of. What arrives? My breakfast sandwich on sourdough. I paid extra and was not credited when they delivered what I did not want. I would have said something but the wife didn't want me to make a stink. The wife wanted a smoothie but she didn't want it in single serving plastic cup so they wouldn't make her one. All coffee is served in single use paper cups with plastic lids - even if you're drinking in store. This is Colorado, we've got a sustainable/environmental bent here but this place, in addition to not fulling your order correctly and charging you extra - is clueless about plastic waste and sustainability. Doesn't look like it's been sealed, repaired or striped in decades. Some potholes you actually have to come to a complete stop or risk damaging your car. Inexcusable. Loyal customer for YEARS who is not loyal anymore I ordered a specialty coffee for my friend and a drip coffee for me this afternoon. The bill was about $7.60 and I tipped $1. I got my black coffee and since the condiment area didn't have any cream or half and half, I asked for cream. The young lady said if I wanted a tablespoon of cream they needed to charge me for it. I said okay. I gave the young man my credit card to charge me .42 for cream. But then I jokingly said I wasn't going to tip another $1 again. The young man said they had a problem because they cannot charge less than $1 on a credit card. He called the young lady over. The young lady asked if I had 42 cents. I don't carry cash, so the answer was no. She said, "Well, I cannot give you any cream without you paying for it. It is policy." Really? They had my coffee in their hand and so I said, "okay, just refund me the price of my coffee." Which they did. They did not refund the tip. So I drank water. At a coffee shop. And they lost a sale and customer over a tablespoon of cream. read more

I am so impressed with their selection of coffees! Their depth charge really packs a punch and as I lay in bed at 4 a.m. quietly muttering curses at Wesley Owen's, I realized it was only because they really did do their job well. First of all, they use Novo Coffee--my favorite roaster in Denver. What's more, they know how to pull some good espresso. They also carry Ritual Chcocolates, my favorite chocolatier in the area.
