Horrible service. I walked in at 6pm and 3 colleagues were behind the counter. Two were busy making sandwiches and the third was standing around. It took over 3 minutes to receive an acknowledgment even though they looked right at me. Two times I was told they would be with me. After 5 minutes of waiting I left and went next door to the Habit. West Coast has good food but the service was horrible tonight. It isn't too much to receive a greeting when entering and being the only person in line. Not sure I will return again. read more

I went on the soft opening day so obviously they were just starting out. Our family of 5 ordered 3 sandwiches, chips, and a bread bowl of Mac n cheese for our youngest! Lots of great variety of sandwich options both hot and cold. The sandwiches were good but the bread was to die for! Amazing! If you ask what we specifically want on our sandwich, that is what we want. Do you want mustard? No. Came with. If you like pesto like I do, the #4 has pesto aioli, not pesto. Not enough pesto flavor to count as pesto. All 3 of our sandwiches were very saucy, keep that in mind if you don't like yours that way. The BBQ Brisket was really good. The BLT on the other hand was underwhelming. I ordered it on marbled bread, I thought it would be toasted (I should have asked), and unlike the menu picture the bacon was chopped. Not bad for a chain sandwich place. I like jersey mikes normally, but mikes way kinda makes all the sandwiches taste the same, but it's still pretty good when you're just feeling a sub. This place's sandwiches are comparable but with quite bit more flavor, especially with their signature sauce. Time will tell if they are consistent, but if you're looking for a tasty sub and normally go to subway, jersey mikes or the like, try this place. Service was pretty good, lots of staff doin' stuff. Well, most the sandwiches are "build your own" which tells me they don't know how to make a proper sandwich. I chose the hot pastrami, they couldn't tell me what belongs on it. Sad. Unfortunately they put lettuce on it, never had a hot pastrami with lettuce before. Also was lacking meat, mustard, and mayo. Not the best first impression to a new sandwich spot. I ordered black peppered chicken, with lettuce, onion, tomato, provolone and mustard on sourdough 8 inches. So good! I could taste the black pepper! But also the turkey. AT THE SAME TIME! It was just so balanced and delicious. My son ordered a turkey sandwich on 6 inches of sourdough with American cheese. He's a picky eater so none of the veggies or sauces - just bread, meat and cheese. And my picky eater said "I think this is the best sourdough sandwich I've ever had". I had to agree. Especially since he didn't have any additional flavors to his sandwich. My husband had a ham and salami sandwich with bacon on 8 inches of sourdough. His was also plain due to his dietary restrictions. He ordered extra meat so when he received his sandwich he wasn't sure that it had extra meat so he asked and they did in fact confirm he'd received extra meat. They use a scale measuring system so it's pretty precise and I understand that - I mean how else is everyone going to receive the same service. What shocked me was that JADE went out of her way - above and beyond when she explained how they measure the meat on the sandwiches. She just wanted us to be happy with our food! This might not seem like a big deal to some, but lately, it feels like customer service in general anywhere you go is at an all time low. So my husband received extra meat and he was happy!!! Thank you so much JADE for making us feel appreciated and valued! We need more people like you! The establishment itself looked very clean and the chairs were very comfortable. my niece told me about this place so I thought I had to give it a try first impressions from the outside It looks nice even has outside seating so it's dog friendly I parked and walked inside. I noticed a few people already seated, enjoying their meals. Staff was very friendly. I wanted to try pastrami sandwich I had noticed they had a small one for 899 and a large for 1299 normally places small for some reason large mustard and onion only took a few minutes and it was prepared. My number was called and I left but not before noticing they also have soup bowls made out of bread and chowder. Got my sandwich and headed home when I got home after the first bite couple of things one they forgot the onions and two not the best pastrami in the world I should've stuck with the smaller size. I will go back and try a turkey sandwich or there clam chowder but I won't give the pastrami a second shot. Service service was excellent sandwich taste in quality for the price average. read more

Great that they offer GF rolls for my wife. Ordered 2 sandwiches one GF BLT with extra bacon and one pastrami on a regular roll. Looked like a lot of bacon although I ordered xtra bacon. My wife said it was good although still prefers Jersey Mikes. The sourdough roll didn't seem sour and a lack of pastrami made the sandwich just ok. Not sure it is worth going again if I have to order xtra meat. Maybe because they are new they are scrimping on the meat but first impressions are important. read more

I was so excited to try this new deli in Oceanside. I ordered a small turkey pesto sandwich and was very happy with the size but thought it was very overpriced compared to other deli establishments. I asked for pickles on my order and was shocked to be told that it would be a dollar fifty extra. are you Kidding me.;the sandwich was very good all in all I have gone back two more times to see if any new kinks have been resolved. about two weeks ago Inwent in again and to my dismay the prices have gone up. I understand the economy is in. turmoil but this rise in the price so soon after opening is a big deterrent in my ever eating there again. love the bread but you just lost a good customer. read more
