The project manager Mike and the decking crew led by Lupe that rebuilt and extended our deck did a great job. They need to improve the communication between the sales side and the project manager. I would suggest a meeting with the construction manager, project manager and the home owner to make sure all are the same page right up front. The project was done in a week, including the Saturday before Memorial Day to make our deck usable. I would recommend them for a new or rebuilt deck.

All of the people were very professional and we were very happy with the quality of their work. We had a few odd requests given the amount of work our home needs and our budget. We had American Pro and another contractor out to give us a quote. American Pro had a reasonable quote and gave us many options of how we could get projects started within our budget. We are very happy we chose to work with them and will be calling again when it's time for another project! Thank you! I've attached photos from Christian fixing the rot around our back door. He ended up having to replace the whole door. We requested adding a storm door and Christian installed the one we picked!

Deck screws were ran through the door trim, so much so that one pierced the outer skin of the RV. The rest? well, they are sticking out about 1/4" to 1/3". Who uses decking screws to attach trim?????? Decking screws were also used to attach a piece of wood behind the dining table, it split the wood. Dining table is very unstable and will not make it out of the drive way before bending over. Same for the electrical outlet under the bench table. Just barely hanging. Storage drawer in the bathroom is missing braces. That drawer wouldn't make 2 miles before the support braces broke. The floor was replaced. The rest?? BEWARE!! I think I could have gotten 10th graders from the local high school to do a better job and it sure wouldn't have cost $3,700.00. We will have to spend $800 - $1000 fixing all the things they left undone, not to mention the loss of use of the RV.

I opened a claim through my insurance company, and RHR was at my house in less than 7 days. They replaced my gutters and upgraded my shingles, and everyone I dealt with was extremely nice and professional. Michael and Zach were the two folks I had the pleasure of working with, and they made the entire process smooth. After the work was completed, I had some difficulty getting the checks from my insurance company, but RHR was patient while I sorted it out. Even during my confusion with the fact that I owed them all insurance proceeds--including supplements and depreciation--they were very pleasant to work with and took the time to help me understand the process and the legality behind the contract I signed. A few days after completion, we began finding roofing nails in the yard. RHR quickly returned with the "mother of all magnets" to sweep the property, which I greatly appreciated. We did have a small misunderstanding regarding the money owed based on the contract, but it was resolved quickly. One important tip for future customers: be aware that all supplemental checks, including depreciation payments from your insurance, go directly to Right-Hand Roofing--regardless of the agreed-upon amount in your contract. Ultimately, the payments are agreed upon between RHR and your insurance company. Overall, the workmanship, professionalism, and responsiveness were top-notch. They truly did an AWESOME job!

If you want high quality, detailed work, with a nice finish, this is NOT the guy…read more The job was to enlarge an interior crawl space opening and replace the existing frame/door with an insulated door and weather stripping. It was $375 plus an additional $125 for insulating materials/labor. For this price I was expecting a completely finished, well installed product, with quality materials and remaining mess/job materials to be cleaned up. The first concern was that a small drop blanket was used in front of the door. But, knowing that you are cutting into concrete block and the subsequent dust that permeates the air, this would hardly be sufficient. The smoke alarms in the entire house went off due to the amount of dust that was created and not blocked appropriately to keep from getting all over the house. When the job was finished and I pointed out the materials and dust collected around the work site, including a nail left behind, I was informed that he "didn't have a shop vac" and "doesn't normally clean up building materials". The additional money spent on insulation labor and materials was used on; narrow stick-on weather stripping that was falling down due to half the adhesive part left to open air, which then stuck to the back of the door, causing it to pull and fall when opened; and Styrofoam board, screwed into the back of the door, partly held on with a busted part of a ruler, and not secured at all on one side. I was told this was "quality work" and that he had technically used what we had agreed on. The front trim/door is marked up and, the trim which he reused from the previous door is too short on one side. Instead of informing me, and agreeing to replace the trim, he re-installed it and said "nothing I can do about that". Additionally, the front latch does not line up and cannot be closed properly. When I expressed my displeasure, and pointed out various items, I was told I technically got what we "agreed" upon. I went ahead and paid the full amount to end the interaction as it was evening already. The next morning, I notified him that I was still displeased and, that the door is not able to function as a proper door, nor is the price for the additional insulating materials and poor labor he used justifiable. He then told me I had flown into a "rage" after asking for a small discount ($40-$50) so I could get necessary repairs. He refused. Really disappointed. I was hoping to find a long-term handy man but all the great reviews really let me down. I guess this is NOT his "type" of work. Buyer Beware.

I appreciated his integrity on that matter as we all know plumbing problems can escalate quickly if not done right. When I initially put my Painting Project out on Yelp, Mathew was 1 of the 1st to respond and though I originally had another company in mind, through continued diligent communication by Mathew, AFM ultimately earned my business. Mathew was SUPER communicative up until my job was confirmed and booked and then he kinda' disappeared on me a bit until the morning of my appointment, which though it had me slightly nervous along the way and pushed me to have a Plan B ready just in case, it ultimately just let me know that he is a man of his word, but not going to keep beating you over the head with communications in between time. As my pictures show, 1 part of my project was a mosaic-type piece in my Entryway Hallway and though Mat told me that he'd never done this type of design, he also said that he was confident that his team could get it done and do it well! I have to say that Francisco and his cohort who actually did the work did an OUTSTANDING job...I was and am quite pleased!! The small bedroom that I had done in addition was a layup from a 7-Footer in comparison and they did an outstanding job on that as well! =) After the crew left that night, I noticed a faint orange dusting on my carpet, which obviously wasn't there before, because my original walls weren't orange prior to the project. I reached out to let Mat know and he explained what he thought the issue might be and said that he'd come out by the following Wednesday (In 5 days) to take care of it, via a carpet shampooing or alternate method. Mat actually called the next day and said that he would be able to come and rectify the problem in an hour, if I was home and available (Which I was). He arrived in a timely manner and rubbed what appeared to be some kind of paint-thinning lacquer in the problem areas of the carpet and said that letting it sit about 2 hours and then vacuuming the treated areas should take care of the problem and it did to eyes less discerning than mine - SUCCESS!! Mathews original quote was the 2nd highest of the 5 quotes that I received, but when it was all said and done, it was well worth it. I never signed/accepted my original quote however and in gaining my business, Mathew told me that he'd probably be able to come down on the price a bit, but that was NOT the case in the end. No harm, no foul, as I have some culpability in that hiccup as well, for not confirming the final price before work started. With that being said; Though I absolutely recommend this company, I'd implore you to be clear on a price upfront!!
