9am Friday, I drop my car off for them to investigate a noise and a broken window crank. 8 hours later, I call them asking for an update. They tell me they haven't even looked at my car and they'll get to it on Monday. As if they expect me to go all weekend without my car. At no point were they ever going to call me? Do not even consider using them for your auto maintenance or repair. read more

Went for a state inspection they turned me down because my daytime running lights did not work upon inspecting it myself. I realized that they had not put it in gear and that they only worked while it was in gear went back inside told them what's up and they come out and reinspected however, I was not happy with the situation thumbs down had to give them one star because it would not let me give them zero read more

We have been going to this car shop for over a year now. Definitely trustworthy, and helpful with all our car issues. Inspections are always done first come first serve, but they work fairly fast. Since we have had issues w/ other car shops, we then came here. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Been coming here for over 10 years. Uzed to have pretty decent service but within the last couple of years quality has degraded. My girlfriend brought her car in for a new starter, they put a bad starter on and her car was dead in the drove way nearly immediately and we had to pay out of pocket to get it back. I took my truck in for a break light problem, when i went to pick it up, same problem. The tech forgpt to connect some stuff, sure, things happen. This current experience, i brought my truck in for check a check engine light. Paid about 2 grand fpr the repairs they said it needed. When i went to pick it up, i saw a puddle of oil under my truck. I dont know how bad the seals were when I dropped them off, but it wasnt leaking and leaving marks. This stuffed drained. So i dropped another 2 grand on more repairs. Brought my truck home.and got that beautiful check engine light on again. They told me to bring it back, but i dont wanna keep givong them thousands of dollars to not fix my initial problem. Took my truck in for a State inspection and it failed for brakes. We'll when all is said and done... $3800 just to get my truck back with a inspection sticker. One thing they replaced was my headlight assembly. Less than two weeks later I have condensation in the corner turn signal. I took it back in and they said they only replaced the headlight not the assembly.... well you charged me for an assembly according to the receipt. Nope, they won't fix it. HORRIBLE PLACE, WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. read more

The work they do is well done, they make a habit of not completing requested work. I requested my rocker arms and cams replaced, they only did a partial job. My wife's jeep came back from service with the check engine light still on after we specifically requested it be looked at. I took my work truck in for an inspection, oil change and because I was slowly loosing coolant. They inspected it, diagnosed and replaced the water pump and never did an oil change. I picked it up after hours and found the check engine light on. On the first trip I discovered the cooling issue was not resolved. The problem turned out to be a cracked thermostat housing. West Service Center merely said my guy has been doing this for twenty years and doesn't make mistakes. Just be aware and wary of unnecessary up-charges. We will not be using their services anymore. Had a flat on going left 58 right off of off ramp at rush hour on a Friday. I pulled over first place I could- the far left lane, the most inconvenient spot to get towed. Called my roadside assistance and the dispatch service texted me asap directing me to call dispatch, Tiffany was incredibly patient since me and SIRI didn't know exactly where I was, I described what I could see. I called back realizing I'd be taken to a service center in the wrong direction from home and she had that changed, I called her again to let her know I was on the far left. She was so professional and no exasperated 'quit calling me now'. When truck showed up, Gerald the driver was coming off the off ramp and muscled his way to the far left- remember rush hour Friday! It was like watching a Transformer come to rescue me. He loaded up my car, answered all my annoying questions and off we went- first time to ride in a tow truck- and I'm ashamed to say his truck inside and out shined, my car looked like a wart on the back of his truck. How he stayed clean and an impeccable uniform is unknown to me. Hope to never need them again, but nice to have that kind of security knowing if I do, I'm going to be ok. 04/23/18, After reading the reply form West Service Center, I would like to add the following; I appreciate the refund that was provided. The reason I declined any further service was due to the cost. I was told by the service writer that they could not see a part number on the alternator, and it would be over $200.00 in labor to remove and find a part number. As soon as i hung up the phone, I called Spartan with the VIN and had the part number in two minutes, and ordered it. I will have to assume cheaper than West could have gotten it. read more

Amasing. At first I was not the nicest customer... i was seeking service because of a previous RV company did not do the job right. I came off very defensive. They were very friendly understanding. Disappointed in the fact that as I was following my boyfriend out of the parking lot of West Service Center I noticed that the tire pressure was extremely low. A "service center" should be just that, if an employee was paying attention to details and these individuals cared about service -- something would have been done to fix this. It is especially concerning because the tire pressure was SO low that had I not noticed this could have been an extremely dangerous drive back to Virginia Beach. Even further, what happens when children and pets are picked up in a vehicle that is clearly not safe to drive? Shame on the folks that let people drive off like this, I have to assume this was laziness as even a lay person like myself could see there was something very wrong here. Needless to say that I can't support people that don't care about the safety of the people leaving their establishment and I cannot, in good conscious, recommend this establishment to anyone either. read more

These guys are great. Had 2 flat tires on the first day of vacation. They came out quickly, took care of everything from filling tires enough to move the car out of the parking garage, put on the spare and towing. I needed a ride to the shop to get new tires and was dreading the super awkward 20 minute drive but it turned out to be a great experience. The driver was super friendly and we talked the whole way. I wish I could remember his name but he was definitely a friendly and super helpful guy. They turned a crappy first day of vacation into a pretty painless experience. read more

My car decided to act up on me on my drive to work this morning, so I drove back home and immediately contacted my insurance company to have my car towed to the shop. I was given an ETA of FOUR HOURS, which is absurd itself, but I figured I could preoccupy myself in the meantime. The ETA time comes and goes, so I call this company to see what the deal was, in which I was told "oh yeah I had to send the driver somewhere else for an emergency call, he should be there in another hour." ?!?!?! At no point did it cross their mind "I should probably inform the woman who has been waiting 4 hours that she'll have to wait even longer." If I would have known I would have requested a new towing company sooner or taken the risk to drive to the shop my damn self. Customer service is good, but you guys are real assholes for not letting people know if the driver will not make it at the promised time. read more

Instead of immediately towing my truck, he asked what was wrong with it and then proceeded to fix it. In a flash. Like, completely effortlessly. He reset the key. He shared some tips, knowledge, and the wisdom he's acquired in his many years in this industry. His expertise and genuineness meant everything. And not having to tow my truck was a relief. He cared! That's a rarity. West Service Center, Inc. is now actually the first place I'll go to should my vehicle encounter any issues again. read more

Lee was so helpful and professional when I got two flat tires on a Saturday evening recently. He called me on his way to let me know he'd be arriving soon. When he got to my car, he explained what he had to do and helped me figure out which tire/service center would be open on Sunday morning to fix my tires. He texted me after he delivered my car to the planned location to let me know it was safely there. I'm very appreciative of his help! read more

I will never use West Service Center again. They do not care about the service. I took my truck in for diagnostic and was charged a ridiculous amount. I picked my truck up to take it to get a second opinion and my engine light and battery light came on. My truck was not running like it did when I took it there. The next day my truck broke down coming off the exit. I called Adam to see if they could tow my truck and figure out what they did wrong. Adam told me they would have to charge me for diagnostic again after I was just charged a ridiculous amount for the diagnostic on my truck. I had to tow my truck somewhere else because I refused to pay them again for something that wasn't occuring before I took it there. I asked Adam to have my truck moved to the front of the building so it can be easily towed. I went to check to see where my truck was located because my tow company was on there way. A heavy set woman told me I couldn't get my truck towed. I told her to call Adam, he left for the day. She called, he okayed it when he should have informed her or somebody before he left. He didn't and when the tow truck came they had to pull my truck out with a forklift because it wasn't accessible. Adam appeared very nice and caring, but his actions showed otherwise. I do not recommend West Service Center to anyone. They just care about the money not the customer. read more
