While my wife's therapist was a trainee who wasn't as vigorous with her scrubbing as mine was, both were still very thorough and attentive to every inch of our skin. When they say your skin will glow after, they don't lie! Our skin looked and felt great after about a 90 minute session. Instead of digging into the same knot over and over, she works the connected areas and releases the tension that way, so the knot actually resolves without the whole session being painful.
