What happened to this place? Service & food used to be amazing. Fast, efficient service & delicious food at a reasonable price. We waited 10 minutes before anyone even came to table. Food took over an hour to come out & even then it was in increment's. My order was wrong but I didn't have another hour to wait for a replacement. Our server disappeared in the back for elongated periods of time... have no idea what he was doing back there unless he was jumping on the line to help get the food out. One table took their food to go because they had a little one & it took so long. (Same server). Philly steak sandwich was terrible. We won't be going back! read more

Went to the diner on a Saturday. Busy but not full. We were seated within five minutes where she took our drink order. And then nothing! No server came to our table. After about 20 minutes we asked who our server was and they said I'm not sure I'll find out. This used to be really good. The service used to be fast and professional. The food was once really good. Not this week. I arrived at 10am. The place was at half capacity but there was a wait because tables hadn't been cleared The server was young and new (I hope). She sat down to take the order, and wrote it out in unusual detail As if what I ordered wasn't listed on the menu. And she still got it wrong. The English muffin was fresh from the package. It had never met the toaster. The omelet I asked to be 'wet' ? Not overcooked was cooked to death. But she forgot to bring utensils and napkins or the water I requested or coffee refills and the sliced tomatoes instead of the hash browns that were almost as raw as the English muffin And eventually the check. She couldn't find it. She had two tables and gave both checks to the other guy who gave it to me. So why a 3 and not a 1? The place used to be good and she was a rookie, I hope. read more

I wanted to give this place another chance after hearing they were under new ownership. However. I was sadly disappointed. Servers were so rude, unpleasant, and just look annoyed to be there. When I asked for OJ, there was attitude. We asked for some milk for coffee, they brought us a massive cup of straight milk. Honestly not a fan of their breakfast it's very bland but when it comes to their lunch and dinner menu they definitely had that on point I've tried their Cajun chicken pasta it's absolutely delicious I've also tried their crispy chicken wrap and it's also delicious as well highly recommend!!! read more

Very sad again, I try to bring to the new owner another opportunity after several months of my last review! The food Horrible! Again, the Benedict eggs was the very bad experience ( burn bread) the Canadian ham burn too! The omelette was reduced the side and increased the price! Without the quality of the past. My country style steak with sausage gravy , eggs over medium and grits was very good. Steak not too crispy, gravy tasty and eggs done correctly and the grits were creamy south Florida style and tasty! The bacon and cheese omelet was also good but the hash browns were too crispy as in left on the grill too long. The wheat toast was nothing special just inexpensive dry toast! Unassuming place with great food at great prices. The wait staff is usually friendly and recognizes repeat patrons. The specials menu has excellent prices!! I'm a big fan of the nova platter (nova lox, cream cheese, tomato, onion, kalamata olives, etc.) and the price on the breakfast specials menu beats every restaurant I know of by several bucks! Good diner with lots of items to choose from with specials every day. Had the tuna melt with french fries and I wasn't disappointed. The sandwich was packed with tuna and the cheese was melted perfectly. The fries were crispy and hot. I've been here before for breakfast and the portions were very plentiful. I'm so sad about the downhill trajectory of this place. We keep going back, hoping it's different , but this was our last try. Arrived this morning around 11:30 - waited a good 5-8 minutes for some to even NOTICE we were waiting to be seated. When the hostess finally came to the front, she put us in a booth - where we waited another 12 minutes (yes, I actually timed it) for a server to even acknowledge our presence. Nothing. They walked by a dozen times, and nothing- after a good 15 minutes, we just got up and left. Kid at the front could've cared less when I told him why. It's disappointing, because it's a local place and we really want to be supportive, but they obviously don't need our money. We will not be back:( read more

I had been wanting to give this place a try and wow what a disappointment. From the tacky horrendous way we were not greeted. The hostess/manage said one word when she saw us walk in "2" then a grunt as she swirled over to a table she threw the menus on the table and waddled away. The waitress is polite besides her obvious sketchy meth addict way about her. The food well let me just say. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with ham, I received something that is not even worthy to be served at a prison. I seen better versions of grilled cheese served at hospitals. The cheese is obviously from a brick the bread got toasted In a while oven and they barely meted the cheese in a microwave. My partner ordered a buffalo grilled chicken wrap, basically chicken canned thrown into a microwave heated with tobacco and buffalo sauce. Rolled into a wrap with way to much cabbage. The bathrooms are in need of the health department inspecting. The broken tiles on on the floor from obvious mildew build up is gross. read more

But the star of this meal was the grits. They were creamy and cheesy and delicious.
