We tried Westshore Pizza for the first time a few months ago when someone dropped coupons off at our office Tampa. Realized there was a location near the house and started to get it once every week or two. Pizza is great but this location (not sure about the others) seems better for pickup than dining in. They have tables and a soda fountain since it is a "restaurant" but occasionally forget to give you basics like paper plates, cups, and forks until you come out and ask. read more

Do not order from this place. I placed an order for two pizzas, had them delivered and not only was it an hour and a half, both pizzas were wrong. I called the manager "Johnathan" to let him know what happened, and to say there was no level of empathy is an understatement. Johnathan suggested to have the pizzas remade at a later date and would not charge me. So here we are, a week later, not only did Johnathan have no recollection of the conversation, he actually tried to charge me for the pizzas they messed up a week prior. Quoting Johnathan "If I give you both pizzas, my boss would fire me". Well, Johnathan, I 100% support small businesses, however, I will not spend another dollar with your establishment. First time trying, and we will NEVER order from here again. We were quoted a half hour delivery time for two salads, boneless hot wings, and cheesy garlic bread. An hour and ten minutes later-- my wings were bone in, naked, and the wrong count. It was clear they just threw something together when I called checking on the order. The cheesy garlic bread was just half buttered bread, and barely melted cheese on a sub, with no garlic? And we had to rebake it. My Greek salad? Second time shame on me... About a week ago I called around 7 pm on Saturday night and ordered an 18 inch pepperoni pizza and a Greek salad and was told my order would be delivered in 45 mins. One hour and fifteen minutes later I called the location and asked if my order would be delivered soon and I was told the deliveries were backed up and the driver was "leaving the store in a couple minutes with my order." 25 mins later my pizza and salad arrived only for me to receive a could undercooked pizza, which I can only assume was the pie to be used to be sold for slices which they had on hand and ready. Immediately upon receiving the cold undercooked pizza I called the store and complained, to which they apologized and sent another pizza which I was grateful for. If that was the end of this story there would be no need for a post, however let's fast forward to today. Deciding to give them another chance I looked at the official Westshore Pizza website and found a coupon I believe could be used at this store. Apparently I was mistaken...the coupons, found on the website, made to be downloaded and printed are not applicable to call in customers. Done with you Westshore Pizza. Will not eat at this location again. I am not one to conplain or leave bad reviews but I have been disappointed every time I have eaten here in the past few months, so leaving this review. Ordered bbq wings "EXTRA crispy" came not crispy, watered down bbq sauce. Ordered a steak philly & it had NO CHEESE????? Management was completely unprofessional. I am being hopeful by giving them 3 stars. I ordered a philly cheesesteak (my husband asked why I would order one in Florida) LOL. It wasn't the worse I've had. Maybe like a regular corner store cheesesteak, not something you'd wait in line for. It was dry and gristly(sp). But ok, nonetheless. The onion rings on the other hand were awesomeness! The food is good, and we've tried pizzas, garlic knots, and Philly cheesesteaks with no complaints. The portions are good as well. Love the Westshore Pizza at the South Tampa location. Since moving here, we have ordered at this location a few times now. Each time not so great, but today our food was completely undercooked. The garlic knots are 100% dough inside. When you pull it apart, the dough just stretches. The wings, we asked for extra crispy. They are watery and far from crispy. Too far to drive to take it back. Should had read the reviews before I ordered! I always check, but decided to trust the hotel staff! what a joke of place! I called and they hung up after i waited 20 min on hold, (fine they were busy) so i called back. Ordered and would be 45-60 min wait, i am still fine with that, when the Establishment is busy that's good pizza. (well that's what I thought) 2 hours later no pizza, and when i called they said they tried to delivered, and called me. So an update to this location since my previous review. They got it together here. They are now fast and friendly and the food is some of the best. My dilemma now is 16"pepperoni pizza? Or the amazing cheesesteak? If that's the toughest decision you have to make all day then life is good. Give this new manager and staff another try. We ordered the White Special Ricotta Pizza for pick-up but received the White Spinach Ricotta Pizza. Not much difference, but it's not what we ordered and we really wanted the tomatoes. I also ordered the antipasto salad. The tomatoes on the salad had a brown spot throughout them and were soggy and rotten. But after seeing the tomato I couldn't eat the salad anymore, and was glad they incorrectly gave us a pizza without tomatoes. We also didn't receive the 2 free garlic knots that were supposed to come with the salad, and because of the incorrect pizza and disgusting tomatoes, I called them up after we got home to tell them that we couldn't eat the salad because of the rotten tomatoes, we received the wrong pizza, and we didn't receive our full order, per the menu. You'd think that since we didn't get a single item we ordered or that was edible, they'd give us a refund right? Nope. The manager gave us a generous $8 off the next time we come in, after spending $26.73 and foolishly giving a $2 tip when we got it to-go. read more

I placed a to-go order from them a few weeks ago. They appeared to need the business because there were no other customers. It wasn't a huge order but $90 worth. I picked up the food and took it to have lunch with my customer. As I unpacked the items, they had forgotten 3 items that I paid for on the order. I called later and was told the manager would call me back, which he never did. I called again later and told the manager I wanted a refund for those three items that I didn't receive. Do not order from this place. I placed a order online for delivery. After placing order they called and said it would be around 50 mins for delivery. I waited over a hour and ten mins and called the store many times but no one answered. Waited for over a hour and half and tried calling again, but no one answered. When restaurant was called, was told that I could re- order the item the following day. Even simple instructions such as our comminty gate code was ignored and not passed along to driver. I ordered a white special ricotta pizza at 4:50 PM. It was delivered at 5:30 (I live 4 minutes away) but it was a Margarita pizza. I called immediately and told them the problem and the man I spoke to on the phone told me that I would have it delivered by 6 PM even if he had to bring it himself. At 6:15 I called again and the guy I spoke to said " we called you 3 times and you said that you didn't want it so we threw it out." The phone never rang and they lied to me. I responded with "I want the pizza that I paid for." I called again at 7PM and I asked to speak to the manager whose name was Dave. He said that they only had 2 delivery men and that they were slammed with customers. I called back at 7:45 asking where my pizza was? I eventually went to the restaurant to pick up my pizza and there was no one in there. A man walked in while I was there and I told him my story. I finally got the pizza I ordered at 4:50 at 8:40. I spoke to the manager and he said no one named Dave worked there. I told him that this treatment was unacceptable and that I wanted a refund. He told me that he would credit my account but that point I didn't believe him so he gave the money that I paid for the pizza. I finally got home at 8:45 with the correct pizza that I had ordered at 4:50. I waited almost 4 hours for the pizza to be delivered and I ended up going to the restaurant and picking it up myself. Worst pizza ever. Pizza was undercooked and raw and super greasy. I brought it back to have them cook for longer and all they did was put it in the oven for 2 more minutes. I haven't had the best experience with ordering from Westshore's website. My latest experience has solidified my decision to be done with this place. Being new to Wesley Chapel, I was excited to find a place with great pizza. However, when a pizza is left off the order and management doesn't make it right, I think I'd rather find a new place to eat. Customer service is so important, there are a lot of other places I could order dinner for my family. Westshore Pizza will no longer be one of them. read more

Ordered Feb 24th 2018 for my son's birthday, both pizzas was cold, one had no sauce ...called to let them know spoke to Brian the manager and he stated they will remake it. Sent my son to pick it up and they told him he had to go back home and get the bad pizza ....WTH?!?!?! So I went back with the garbage and the so called manager Brian tried to kick me out of the store bc I said shit and his son was at work with him behind the counter... 1. Why do you have your child at work 2. Seriously you have never said shit in front of your 8 or 9 yr old kid and you seriously think your kid has never heard or said that word by now!!! Ridiculous. That's all I can say about this place. I called to pick up a pizza and tried to use a coupon code that was listed on their official website. The cashier on the phone told me that they do not honor coupons over the phone and told me to go online if I wanted to use it. I tried to sign up online and somehow It wouldn't let me advance. I called the store back to let them know and the woman on the phone asked me to print it out or she can't use the code. Ordered delivery using their website. Order arrived exactly on time (why the one star). However, the pizza was oblong not round. The dough was cooked but lacked its usual crispness. The 12 hot wings we ordered (paid extra for flats (flappers) only) was actually 8 and had a spoonfull of sauce. I called the store and was given the option of store credit or addtional wings. Chose aditional wings. Was told they would arrive in the near future. At this time, almost 3hrs and later, still no wings at my door. Is ok, they can keep them. We'll take our business elsewhere. $37 for 18" pizza and 12 wings. Should have gotten dressed and gone to Pizza Mania. Lesson learned. read more

Despite working in the area for over the last four years I had never known this place to exist until they came into our office with fliers. I will say the first time we ordered we were trying for delivery and since we had separate orders (and wanted to pay with card) they said we would have to pay the delivery charge on each individual order who wanted to pay with card. We order from lots of places typically they just split up that charge or the first order pays it and we work it out so instead of paying one delivery charge they wanted to charge us four times for one delivery.... Yeah. So we opted for carry out on time one. Upon arrival there are two doors so I opened the first one I came to which is a direct door into the kitchen (a sign up wouldn't be a bad idea). The lobby was clean and they had awesome looking pizza by the slice on counter sadly we ordered sandwiches this time around. The philly chicken was sliced so thin and bundled together that when I took a bite a large amount of grease came out the bottom of the sandwich. My co workers and I began a contest to see how much grease could fall out the bottom of the sandwich. Needless to say these weren't very impressive especially considering we have amicis, New York New York, best ny pizza, and the major brands just to name a few all within delivery range to us with better sandwiches that won't have the delivery charge fiasco per order or as much grease. The saving grace however is the pizza. Over the weekend we ordered pizza and wings and this was delicious. We ordered 8 for the store and all were hits, very large slices as well. I certainly recommend the pizza as it beats quite a few places in this area in quality. We ordered take out on January 4,2019 . We ordered chicken wings, fries, baked spaghetti and and eggplant parmigana sandwich. Everything was delicious but the eggplant sandwich was disappointing the bread was not crisp like usual it was soggy and the eggplant was oozing out of the bread. Pizza isn't the greatest but not awful. I ordered fried mushrooms and decided to eat a few on the way home. They were burned and over cooked. I called to complain and asked since we order frequently if they could replace them next time? I was told its the oil they are cooked in was my reply from the manager. I told them I was returning and to make me a new order. When I returned I showed the cashier the burned items and after inspection I was still told it is the oil. I looked at my new order and upon visual inspection they looked ok. I should of tasted the new order at the restaurant because they replaced them with cold and undercooked new ones. We haven't been to Westshore in Lutz for quite awhile. Walked in and Wow... everything was brand new.. New Management.. new big screen televisions.. New countertops.. New video games... new soda machines. Same great food and great service. The manager Scott came over and chatted with us.. brought us our food and refilled or drinks and cleaned up after we left...great guy! We will definitely be coming back more often to watch the games and grab some pizza! read more
