I had a great experience with Dr. Suzy and my fur-baby too. We've been patients of Dr. Suzy for a year now. Called this morning to schedule an appointment and Dr. was booked but still made time for my baby the same day. My doggy was licking her paw and crying the night before. She had difficulty walking on it. I was concerned of infection and wanted to have her seen as soon as possible. As soon as I arrived, I called to inform front desk I was there. She provided me with a time frame before they could see my doggy because Dr. was finishing up surgery. About 5 minutes later my doggy was seen. Roughly 10 minutes later, Dr. came out and thoroughly explained next steps. My big fur baby (Rotty) loves her. Dr. is very patient and answered all of the questions I had. Also suggested I bring my baby in monthly to weigh her to monitor her weight (she's a full figure kinda gal ) and she's a little overweight. The vet techs are great and very pleasant. I am very thankful to have a Dr. like Suzy to medically care for my baby. Thank you! read more

Dr. Suzy is the most amazing vet I have ever brought my cats too. I stumbled upon her clinic by accident and have never brought my cats to any other place. She is kind, compassionate, caring and soo gentle with the animals. She always tries to find a solution to the animals' sickness. She goes above and beyond at the appointment and is so thorough with her examinations and explanations. I spent almost 1 1/2 hours at her clinic today with my cat. She called a specialist to consult with because she said she could not find anything wrong with the cat. Both of them decided we need more test for the cat, but I think she felt bad by looking at all the test and they were basically normal, so what do we do now? She gave me some advice, gave him some injections and we will see what happens. I was so glad it was not a serious issue and look forward to the next step with my cat. He is in such good hands She is my vet for life, and the prices are very reasonable, another big plus. read more

Not sure why five years post Covid we still can't go in her building. Bizarre. I know she prefers animals to people but geez. 85 degrees out in a hot car waiting because she is running behind. The other vet in town allows people in the building to be with their dog in exam room. read more

Pretty upset at this place. Petco has been contacting them for almost a week regarding our dogs flea and tick med. the wife would call to follow up and we were told, "doc just needs to sign it...."our order was canceled and I lost the chance to cash in on discount that would have heavily helped me financially. Now, due to the irresponsibility of this place, I have to pay FULL price and guess what? I STILL have to wait for their approval. We would give 5+ stars for Dr. Suzy if we could. We drove over 2 hours for her teeth cleaning services based on recommendations from others. So glad we did! She has no hidden fees or costs, is fully transparent, efficient, and competent. Her staff is amazing, caring, and trustworthy. They invited us to watch the procedure, and Dr. Suzy gladly welcomed us in the room as she worked. She walked us through her thought process for removal and allowed us to help with the decision making of removing the necessary teeth. She did thorough bloodwork, checked his joints, cleaned his ears, and also clipped and filed his nails while under anesthesia. She chose to use oral sedation vs injection and it was perfectly timed. Our dog woke up seconds after she completed all the procedures. He was surprisingly chipper and acted very normal and showed zero signs of stress from the day! My veterinarian referred me to Dr Solven (which says a lot) to have her review my Doberman who sprained/tore a tendon previously and needed help with healing. Dr Solven used laser treatment therapy and was very good with my boy. The entire staff was wonderful. Jessica and the young lady who assisted Dr Solven were wonderful. We are very pleased. My normal vet was booked and I felt my sick cat needed to be seen ASAP. I was able to get an afternoon appointment on Saturday at Westside. Dr. Solvin was great. She explained everything she was doing as she was doing it. Dr and her staff really listened to what was going on with my cat and documented everything, leaving no detail out. She was very reasonable with the bill, she also ran a couple of tests/xrays at no charge as she knew I have been to my regular vet 2x already. After being a dedicated client of another Veterinarian for 17 years I decided my dogs best interest was no longer theirs after previous visits of no real diagnosis despite X-rays and bloodwork. It's always a hard decision to leave somewhere you are comfortable but after reading Yelp reviews and doing a little homework I decided Westside was where I wanted my Dogs to be. I called in the Am and was offered an appointment right away ( and it was a "normal" appointment, not a emergency). I had all my dogs records sent over and me and my dog went to our first visit. I was floored!!!! Never in all the visits at my previous vet have I seen such a thorough exam. And yes, you can see everything since the office has such large windows you can watch from your car and your dog can see you! Dr Solvin is a rare find. Her compassion, her careful and complete exams, and her awareness made me comfortable in knowing that I 100% made the right decision to transfer. And you can't leave out her staff! When you call this office there is no long recorded messages that lead you to just receiving an auto call back to a receptionist who sounds unhappy. You get a real live receptionist!! They too hold the same ethics as their Dr. They are warm and friendly upon arrival and are gentle with you pets. While the Dr is examining your pet they too are focused and attentive (not on their personal phones). So if you ask a question they can answer without going back to the Dr. All around this office is a gem! A decision I wished I would have made years ago!!! read more

My mastiff has now been to this vet twice & I am so happy to have finally found a vet who actually cares, who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My dog is a pandemic puppy and completed the her puppy plan at another vet before I took her to Westside and the way the vet at Westside actually comes out and goes over everything with you is so nice! The other didnt do that and this makes me so much more comfortable not being able to go inside with her due to the pandemic and esp Bc my mastiff is a puppy but since she's big I feel like the other vet office didn't treat her like one or give her the patience a puppy requires. I've been to 4 veterinarians in the last 23 years and this is by far the best animal doctor in the world! Between my aunt and I, we've taken 8 or so cats and +\-4 dogs. She is amazing, not just with my fur babies, but also with us companions. When my lil Max needed a specialty surgery, she referred him out. Lots of vets would do the work themselves but she looks for the absolute best possible treatment, regardless if it's her or not. I recently had to put my Maxie poo and she was more than wonderful to my husband and I. She is like a grief counselor too! Making us feel like we r family. I took two pets to this vet recently. Both were well cared for. The staff was patient and responsive. The prices were reasonable. Both pets had surgeries and are recovering well at home. I would have felt more comfortable if they had a night time staff member for pets that stay overnight. Perhaps they make special arrangements for pets that require meds and care in the night. Also, the doctor seemed quite experienced and explained the post surgery information clearly. She is very busy and does not have a lot of time for hand holding, but she answered all of my questions and alleviated any concerns. Overall, a quality vet experience. I recommend this business over the larger chain vets that charge a fortune for unnecessary tests and procedures. I also admire the transparency of their practice. read more

I was honestly beyond disappointed. I had been going to her for years with my previous Doberman pinscher since she took such good care of her. That Doberman passed away and I got a new one and decided to take her here for her shots and operations. Huge mistake. One, I was treated with disrespect and was told to "control my dog" when it was the veterinarian's dog who tried to bite my puppy. Second, the ear cropping operation failed so now my dog has permanently bent inwards ears and it was "my fault" that they did not take because "I should have been watching her 24/7". I had let her know that my puppy was outdoor but still it was inevitably my fault. I have since switched veterinarians to True Blue Veterinary Clinic and am beyond glad I did so. Sad that it had to come to that but oh well. I only gave 2 stars because of how well she treated my past dog. read more
